  1. I’m very interested in building this model. Would you be so kind and PM me the parts list please? I would very much appreciate it.
  2. I would recommend using the medium motors instead of the large or servo. There is not a lot of room and most likely only the medium motors will fit without customization.
  3. The crown gears are not going to be able to handle much torque especially meshed to a type 1 - 8 tooth gear
  4. Jim, Could you ask the Technic team if the PF v2 receivers were a one off for the 9398 or do they have plans to use the new version in the future? It would also be nice to know if they will be selling them in the Lego store.
  5. Quite a few of the elements used on this car don't come in dark blue. Are you planning on building this car in a different color scheme?
  6. Here is a picture of the latest revision of the chassis. This is my first time adding a picture. It's a little difficult to reduce the size of the pic on a tablet
  7. I'm still working on the proportions but as it stands right now 27 studs wide and 56 studs long. As for type of car it could be a muscle car at this point. Working on the chassis first.
  8. I'm in the process if building a AWD car with twin PF L motors. Is it proper to have a differential on the transmission line between the front and rear differentials?
  9. I am in the process of building a similar car with a dark blue shell and the white stripes like in the 41999 set. Over the past week or so I have been buying up most the dark blue technic components that I can find on Bricklink. I've found that there are not too many technic parts in this color. Outside of the 41999 set I believe that most of the dark blue technic parts are off of Bionicle sets.
  10. What would you think about swapping the red parts for dark bluish gray? I think it would make it pop. In my opinion, the red kind of clashes with the dark blue.
  11. I second the nomination for Jurgen's PF Loader v.2. 9 functions, 8 motors, very clean design and a lot of fun to build. This is the best by far loader / backhoe that I've seen or had the pleasure to build. I also second the nomination for Han's 6 x 6 Articulated Hauler. Impeccable design, very creative steering using linear actuators and great finishing work.
  12. Almost want to go out and pick up a 41999 to mod.
  13. It would be interesting to see how much more pressure a 9v power supply does with the same test setup.
