Kids may CARE, but that doesn't mean that they don't want the book. I know that I still love looking at figures, and the exclusive one that it comes with is just an added bonus.

That's wrong. Moe was confirmed for the series, but he's not there. I also thought for sure skinner would be in it... I don't get how amazon can have a list if there's no pictures yet- what, did lego just GIVE them the list?

I knew he was gonna have a coffee cup, and I thought he was gonna have a bible, too. It would be cool to have one. As for what the "mystery figures" are, I think there will be: Skinner Grampa Krusty Mr. Burns Edna Krabappel or Reverend Tim Lovejoy. (Also, this is my 100th post here, and I wanted it to be in my favorite forum!) :)

Really? So you mean to tell me that a 7 or 8 year old kid's parents will let him buy a $20 book JUST for the figure? Maybe they don't like the figure, but that doesn't mean they won't buy the book...

What 8 year old is gonna walk into Barnes and noble and say "ooohhhh, look at that book..... Oh wait, there's an old Star Wars figure as the exclusive, so I'm not gonna get it." Really? Kids don't CARE about the figure, to them it's just another person to attack their sisters doll with. They want the book, not the figure.

I think he meant that people think that their complaining is going to affect lego somehow. That's what it seems like some people are trying to do. They are trying to get lego to stop production of the set somehow, like some did with the seacow. But did the sea cow get made? Yes. Did the simpsons house? Yes. And so will this.

Guys, I don't think this will be $350! It will likely be $250-$280, the first if it's just the crawler, second if it has the homestead. I think they want this to be something that kids want and can actually get for Christmas- like the Ewok Village. Look how many people got it at Christmas! If it's $350, WHO is going to buy it? As for the set, I really like it. If it doesn't have the homestead, I bet they will still put Aunt Beru in it.

Hi everybody! I've never really been into Star Wars that much before, but after seeing the new Sandcrawler, I want to start collecting Jawa stuff. I'm going to want to build a base for the Jawas, so that they don't all have to be in ONE sandcrawler. They seem expensive, so I'll only be getting one. Anyway, I want some advise for the base. I want an area for them to trade stuff with people, and a resting place. In the back I would like a loading dock to load stuff on and off the Sandcrawler. I would also like a resting place for the Jawas to take a nap. The building would be on a 48x48 baseplate. I will try to keep to the earthy color tone- brown/town with some medium nougat thrown in here and there. It will be a solitary building for now, but I will leave a doorway on the side so that I can eventually add a tunnel-like thing on and add another 48x48 baseplate- but first things first. :) any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated. Ps: does anybody know how to upload a LDD file here? I will start the basic ground plan in LDD, and want to share it. Thanks!

Nice! Are you gonna paint the front train engine mold, I don't remember it in blue.... The mine/mineral car could have an opening roof and doors for loading, but still fully closed for transporting.
