I think if LEGO wanted to make DC CMFs they would do what was needed to get it done, but for whatever reason they have chosen not to do so. Keep in mind however, that in 2017 we are getting the LEGO Batman movie and LEGO should support it with sets just like they did The LEGO Movie. TLM also had one CMF line that featured four main characters, but the rest of the figs were of minor characters. Hopefully the LEGO Batman Movie will not just focus on the Bat-verse, but will branch out into the DC universe at large. If so, perhaps we will get a CMF line that will feature a goodly assortment of minor DC heroes and villains.

The idea of two team packs did occur to me, but the problem there means that wave 4 would have no Level Packs and that, between waves 3 and 4, there would be 3 Team Packs that were all DC Comics related (which would also mean that almost half of the minifigs for those 2 waves would be DC). Possible, but does not seem likely to me. I think fig #18 is either a Level Pack, Fun Pack or a new type of pack we don't know about yet.

As others have pointed out, the box picture has the minifigs grouped into 4 waves with all the confirmed minifigs falling into the first two waves. Also of note is that the Level and Team packs are on the top row and the Fun packs are on the bottom row of the first two waves (which means waves 3 and 4 should follow the same pattern). I think my guess of #15 being a Level Pack and 16/17 being a Team Pack is likely, but what about #18? Is it a second Level Pack or maybe a Fun Pack that was mistakenly put on the top row but belongs on the bottom row next to #40?

Perhaps these exclusive cubes are TLGs way of getting the Legion of Superheroes into fans hands without devoting a set to them. Superboy was the Legions inspiration when they first formed (they even brought him into the future briefly and made him a member). Now we are getting Lightning Lad in a second cube. Hopefully, there will be future cubes with Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy and Brainiac 5.

That's correct. The Brickset user never said anything about the Javelin being in the Brainiac Attack set. I think the confusion came about when Hulk Smash reported that Brianiac was in the Darkseid set, but he has since retracted that statement.

Yes. The Brainiac Attack set that was reported by a Brickset user is rumored to contain Brainiac's skull ship and four minifigs: Brainiac, Superman, Supergirl, and Martian Manhunter.

In the comments on Brickset a JenniferP claims there will be a fifth set: 76029 Brainiac Attack featuring Brainiacs' spaceship and four minifigs: Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter and Brainiac. I don't know who JenniferP is or how reliable this info is, but there it is for your consideration.

I remember getting the correct horse (added after TLG discovered their error) in my set and a quick check of Lugnet.com from back in the day also confirms that this was true for other FoLs. Perhaps an initial shipment went out before TLG added the correction?

I remember this. TLG actually realized the error before they shipped this set out and included the correct horse in the box (I don't remember if it was bagged by itself or came loose in box). You might want to check your box again just in case you missed it.

It's also possible that we will eventually see a new Mr. Freeze sporting this piece in trans-light blue.

For those in the U.S. looking for the Simpsons CMFs, try Walgreens - that's where I found mine earlier this week.

One great way to release a GL minifig would be through the DK Brickmaster book series. Brickmaster hasn't done the Superhero theme yet and since GL's powers are all about constructing objects he would be a great fit. The book could come with GL and SInestro with enough green/trans. green and yellow/trans. yellow bricks for them to create and variety of weapons, shields and vehicles.

Hooray, new superhero doodles. The Green Lanterns look great (LEGO really needs to make a Green Lantern Corp set) and although i'm particularly fond of your classic Supergirl this movie version looks good too. P.S. You need to stop being so covert in posting new art. I decided to see if you had done anything new and found this thread on page 5. Perhaps when you post new art you should not only add it to the first post, but make a new post with a note that all of the art can be seen at the beginning of this thread. These "doodles" are too good to hide!

If I could make three changes to series 10, they would be: 1)Grandpa: replace the plain coffee mug with a hooked cane. 2)Librarian: design a minifig sized book that can be held in the hand (I really hate the old Belville/Scala sized book). 3)Sad Clown: switch the Sad Clown and the Toy Soldier. The Sad Clown is a neat fig that would be great as the exclusive for the forthcoming CMF Encyclopedia. And the Toy Soldier is an army builder that should be six to a box.

I found series 10 at TRU in Charlotte NC today. They had to ring them up as series 9 because the individual series 10 packs were ringing up as the box price ($191.40).

I'm guessing a pie like the series 5 small clown. Also, an apron print on the torso and the sumo wrestlers hair in grey.

I agree. But, while I understand LEGO not giving guns to police figs in the themed sets, I do wish they would 'push the envelope' in the CMF series to acknowledge that yes, many police officers do carry weapons in order "to serve and protect". I'd love to see: Riot Control Officer (with riot control gear including shield and club). SWAT Team Officer (with sniper rifle). Plain Clothes Officer (with badge printed on 1x1 tile and a handgun). But, as you say, not going to happen. LEGO cowboys will go on shooting bandits and indians, Supervillains will shoot Superheroes and civilians, and Spacemen will shoot numerous alien races, but LEGO police will have to go on apprehending hardened criminals with their charming good looks.

I too would like a new accessory for a police fig, however I wouldn't mind a gun either (LEGO police figs come with handcuffs, flashlights or walkie talkies - a gun would be a first).
