[MOC] Tracked Steer Loader
Fissl replied to Fissl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Finally I had some time to replace the seat by a blue one and take some more pictures. I didn't make instructions yet, but if there are some more people interested I would make a LDD-file. -
no iMovie is absolutely sufficient! It has all the effects and basic instruments you need for editing.

The map looks nice! How long do you want to travel around?

the render time and smoothness of editing is very depending on the video-codec you are using. h.264 for example needs a lot of CPU and GPU power because its highly compressed and your PC has to "generate" every frame. I'm converting all the h.264 clips from my DSLR to AppleProRes 422 using MPEG Streamclip (freeware) so I can edit the video in highest quality and editing is really smooth too, because the PC doesn't have to decompress the files all the time. After editing I create one Masterclip, also in the same codec ("same as source"-> ProRes 422) because then your machine only has to render the graphics you ad to your clip. And then I use MPEG Streamclip again to creat a small h.264 mov for youtube ;)

1080p sounds good. But a nice video needs more than just a good cam. It very depends on camera angles and movements and at least on editing the footage. So maybe you should first read a bit about the basics of shooting and editing.

[MOC] Tracked Steer Loader
Fissl replied to Fissl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I had the same idea while taking the pictures I think I will replace the seat to a blue or red one. sadly I don't have the right panels I allready took some more pictures but first i want to edit them in photoshop a bit. I'll upload some more next week. @ all thank you for the kindly feedback!!! -
Hi everyone! Today I want to show you the tracked steer loader I've built. It isn't modeled on a real one, I just tried to keep the proportions ( more or less... ) Of course it is remote controlled via PF For driving I've used two L Motors (no subtractor.....) For lifting the boom(?!) and the bucket there are two M motors. enjoy.

[MOC] Programmable "Funky Drummer"
Fissl replied to Fissl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
thank you! Yes i think it would be possible. Right now the track for the code is pretty short (16 elemts) so i can code only one 4/4 bar, which repeats continously. But I'm planning to build a bigger version with 64 track elements what makes it possible to play 4 bars ;) -

[MOC] Sequencer Music Machine
Fissl replied to Fissl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks man. It would have been possible, but i already destroyed it because i needed the parts. By putting pins in the liftarms on the tanktracks you can add notes. And you can able and unable every audio-track ( 8 in the drums section, 5 in the synth section). -
[MOC] Sequencer Music Machine

thanks. I really like the combination of LEGO and "music" ;) -
Hello! I just joined the forum, and now i want to introduce myself and the latest MOC i built ;) It's a programmable sequencer playing a little song on a KORG monotron Duo (an analogue synthesizer) and a MakeyMakey what sends midi-signals to an audio-software (in my case logic) to trigger drum sounds. But I'm not very good at explaining, so take a look and tell me what do you think! Cheers, Fissl

Hello everyone! My name is fissl, I'm 24 years old and i love LEGO technic! In my childhood i played and built a lot with LEGO until i was a teenager. One year ago I rediscovered my LEGO technic box in my parents cellar and since that day I'm totally adicted. :P cheers! fissl
