  1. Lots of great ones here. Monster Fighters, Pharaohs Quest, Nexo Knights are all stand outs. I went with Ninjago as I think that the theme was able to continue getting better every single year for so long, though sort of unfair as its the only theme that was allowed to do so. Anyway it has provided us with some great sets. Too bad the sets have been lackluster sense the movie came out (I do not count TLNM sets as Ninjago sets but as there own thing). Looking at this list it really shows how much Lego has grown in just the last 10 years. The 2000's list was easy to pick, this was much harder. I can only imagine the quality of the 2020's themes. Very exited for the future.
  2. Though I like Agents a lot. I will have to go with the Adventures theme, manly for Orient Expedition. The theme had many cool structures that helped pave the way for one of my all time favorite themes, that being Indiana Jones.
  3. Very interesting. Thank you for answering. As for this round I have to go with the Medieval Market Village. Beautiful unique set, especially cool considering its now 10 years old. This was my favorite set of 2009, and my 2nd favorite set of the 2000's. Definitely going to be a strong contender for the ultimate winner I would imagine.
  4. Man this is a very excellent moc! I have to agree with others above me and say the graffiti on the bottom is very nicely done. This reminds me of some type of scene from a sci fi movie. Even though its not out this is reminding me a lot of the upcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077. Good job and keep up the good work.
  5. The Lego Movie 2. Honestly I have been a fan of all the Lego movies, even Ninjago to an extant. The style and comedy are just right up my aisle. But there was something so special and fun about this one. When I compare it to other animated movies it stands our sue to its creativity and the fact that is actually teaches lessons that we don't really get to see in movies to often. It saddens me that this movie did so poor while illumination will continue to pump out their mindless kids movies and make a billion dollars. Oh well. 9 maybe 10/10.
  6. On Instagram somebody has posted a picture of the 20th anniversary sets at target. So definitely be on the look out for those. Those boxes sure look great.
  7. What a great bunch. Black Falcon's Fortress is great, but I have to go with King Leo's Castle 6098.That was my favorite set of 2000. Though looking at the set numbers, it seems this version of BFF is a re-release. @Itaria No Shintaku will this mean the original version of BFF will not be included in the game?
  8. 6075 Wolfpack Tower for me.
  9. An underrate comment I would say. If this does not happen in the film, I will walk out very disappointed. The figures are mostly terrible with the exception of the Iron Man suits. The over use of the quantum suit (is that the name?) ruins what could have been a lot of cool prints. Captain America Outriders Attack - Ugh! Boring minifigures and an awful build. Super skip! War Machine Buster - I have said it many times before, but I am so sick of SH mechs. I thought the Hulkbuster was great back in 2015, but we have just been exposed to too many to quick. Skip. Iron Man Hall Of Armors - I have to be honest, I like this one. Its really the only one with good figs, that mark 1 is awesome. The build is also something I like. I have collected a lot of Iron Man armors so having somewhere to put them will be great. I like how you can rearrange it as well. Props for also looking accurate. That Igor build is trash though. Avengers Ultimate Quinjet - Finally! A quinjet with an interior! Only took them 3 try's and 7 years. Colours here look good too. Avengers Compound Battle - Ok, so those vehicles are terrible. The car is very juniors like, and is only a price bump in my opinion. The helicopter also looks bad, I have always hatted that glass piece. To me the Compound itself looks good. I wish it was bigger but for what it is I like it. I love location sets so this is up my ally. Overall I'm mixed. Only the Iron Man suits are good figs to me, the rest are bland. 2 boring sets with boring builds. 3 sets with IMO good builds. I don't think this is as bad a wave as others are claiming. Not even the worst of the year, the Spiderman sets hold that title. But it is disappointing due to how anticipated the sets were. Not as good as last years definitely. I will probably buy one of the three larger sets. Hope the Far From Home sets are good. That Mysterio has already made what ever set he is in a guaranteed for me.
  10. I know getting that big of a set for a retired theme is a far way dream, but I would love for a huge Minas Tirith. I would also love a couple of the Indiana Jones places to be made into giant sets, specifically the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, and the Temple Of The Holy Grail. For more current themes. I think a large Jedi Temple would be great, and I think a big Batcave set is long overdue.
  11. I don't care much for the War Machine mech as I am just sort if sick of SH mechs, but the figs are good. The Quinjet is defiantly an improvement and the best one since 2012 (kind of embarrassing when you think about that). Nice colours and it looks like there may be a good interior. Teal brick separator is nice as well. Hoping to see the Hall Of Armor and the big set soon as those are the ones I am looking forward to the most.
  12. I successfully predicted this would be a winner from the review, and I am not upset about it at all. I feel a smaller set will do some good the Lego Ideas after having so many big sets. Exited to see the final product.
  13. 10260 Downtown Dinner What a beautiful set! Definitely one of my favorites of 2018.
  14. Man that Mysterio is very well detailed. Honestly probably one of my new favorite figures. Hopefully the build he comes along with is good.
  15. I wish there was a bit more to the set, but I am still liking it a lot. I think the figures we got are very good, even despite the noises. Getting those hair pieces in that colour is great. The car is great and I think better then the original. I also think k the house is very good. I live location builds so this is right up my alley. Not perfect but I think the set is still great.
  16. Lots of great ones here. I went with 6090.
  17. Well this theme came out of nowhere. I don't care too much for the phone connection factor. But the sets look great. Especially the Graveyard and the School. I guess if City is never going to do a school, something is better then nothing.
  18. Man we have been getting bombarded with set leaks and pics recently. NY toy fair is the best. 75934 Minifigures are pretty great here, and the Dilophosaurus looks nice to me. I don't like the robot build, but the shop side build is great and I love the Indiana Jones hats as I don't see those in sets so much. Price is also the only one that is good. 75935 Baryonyx looks great here. The side build with the trees is also nice. I usually don't care for vehicles but I do like the look of the Jeep and trailer. The VHS tapes is awesome and could make me buy this set. This might be y favorite of the wave. 75937 Ok this one is great too. The Triceratops looks awesome and the builds here are so we'll done. I love the little entrance and the ride attraction. I may have to take away what I said about the last set. This may be my favorite. The problem with both of these sets though is the bad prices. 75938 This is the biggest and without a doubt worst set. The Trex mech is awful and ugly, and the other builds don't do much. Overall I wish we would have gotten more sets from the first 3 movies but I like these sets. 2 are great, 1 is halfway good, and one just sucks. Excited to see the D2C.
  19. I would definitely agree with what others have said and say the triple decker couch is better then the main build, which the main build looks fine I guess. Sadly I have not seen the movie yet so I might be missing out on who exactly the characters are, thus the spa set does not interest me in the slightest. I like the palace though, it has a very unique look to it which makes it stand out, and there are some great new pieces here. The Rexcelsior also looks like a unique spacecraft build. This wave does not impress me as much as the first wave did, but I like the sets. Hope the movie is as good as the sets.
  20. 6079 Looks like a fun little playset with a nice building. Also the other sets don't interest me.
  21. This ought to be fun. 3739. A beautiful unique set with a nice interior.
  22. Starting to watch the acclaimed movies from last year that I missed. Starting with Annihilation. Overall a good movie, with some good acting from the leads, a great atmosphere, and a great plot that leads to tons of speculation. Reminded me a lot of Under The Skin and Arivial. Even though I thought Natalie Portman was good some of the other actors were terrible, particular the other team members in the shimmer. The horror element was probably my favorite part and I wish there was more of it. I would rate it a 7.5/10. I have a hard time choosing this version and The Dark Knight, but I think 1989 takes the top spot as my favorite Batman movie. So unique, so fun, so nostalgic to me. Even though TDK was the film that was big when I was growing up.
  23. Sets sound interesting and I M exited to see them. Been awhile since we got a batcave so a new one should be good. Hopefully Mad Hatter is hidden somewhere in this eave. Oh boy would I love something like that. Even though BAR is not a good movie I think it could make a good set (literally the only reason the movie was made was to sell toys).
  24. Well I was hoping that we get a new Endor base with the 20th anniversary wave, but that is not the case. I think all the classic minifigures are great and help sell the set. The set each figure is put in is werid as they barely relate to the context of each set but oh well. The dropship looks odd, but I think it's interesting. The clone walker is just boring. I think the Snowspeader is an improvement but I would have preferred something else. I like the Slave I and looks like in improvement over the 2010 version. A Jango version would have been neat though. I honestly don't understand why they kept the carbonite piece the same though. They have had 2 years to fix it. Somewhat disappointed with the sets.
  25. Round of applause to the scum. You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. It sucks that I started to get town vibes from Kwatchi after his rant. I should have stuck to my guts. Though that should be interesting to post here. I would also be fine posting all the PM's I had here, but I would need the permission of Bob, lmf, jamesn and fhomess before I do. Sad to know that every single person I Investigated or attempted to Investigate was town. Hopefully this experience will improve my skills for a next time.
