    Got 76109 Quantum Realm Explorers, and 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase. Exited to build them tomorrow. I also got 4 Harry Potter CMS, I got Dumbledore, Cho, Cedric, and Trelawney. Next up is some Harry Potter sets.

    For DC easily the comic based sets. The movie's usually have very boring designs, and the films themselves are not too good making me want the sets even less. The Wonder Women set is the only DCEU set that stands out in my opinion. The comic sets have way more diversity and more interesting builds. The Brothers Eye was is a perfect example of a unique DC build you would never get in a movie set. Also I am more attached to the comics. Ok now onto Marvel. It's the complete opposite. I will say I love comic based minifigures but the builds are almost always complete trash, the upcoming Spiderman wave seem to be full of Spidey vehicles, enough said. The movies however have amazing builds a lot of the time. Sanctum Sanctorum Is a fantastic build and something that we never get in comic sets. Only exception of a great comic build is the Bridge Battle. Now onto the poll personally I would get rid of the both option. I like both comic and movie sets for Marvel a lot of the time but ended up having too choose my favorite. It's a lot more fun when there isn't the easy way out option.

    The Grandma minifigure leaked. You can find her in the usual places. Very excited too see the set. Ideas has had nothing too interesting to me this year so this is a breath of fresh air.

    So in total there will be 10 sets for winter. Did Lego Marvel suddenly become a humongous seller recently? This was the entire amount of sets we got this year if I am correct. Looking forward to the Spiderman minifigures, hopefully some nice villians like Lizard and Electro, but with all the sets seeming to have a Spidey vehicle I am not thrilled for the builds. The other comic sets sound weird to me. So random to have a 4 set wave right before a massive movie tie in wave. Hoping for some cool figures like Baron Zemo though. No way is Avengers 4 getting anything smaller then a 6 set wave. This will be one of the biggest movies of the entire decade. It may be possible that 2 of the sets are missing though, but I find that unlikely. I also doubt this is 10 year anniversary sets, because 2019 will be the 11th anniversary. Also I don't see Lego making a set for The Incredible Hulk, the movie is the MCU's lowest at the box office and I don't think Hulk sets sell to well (maybe wrong). I am surprised by this wave but anything else seems unlikely. I suspect we will get 6 A4 sets and probably 2 Far From Home sets making the grand total of sets for 2019 around 18.

    New from Lego in 2019, it's the very anticipated Senate Chamber! Yes relieve all the intriguing Senate meetings throughout episodes 1-3! You can move for a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Valorum's leadership, or give The Supreme Chancellor Palpatine emergency powers. While your at it why not change the Republic into an Empire and outlaw the Jedi for Betraying you? Does not include Yoda as Jedi's are not allowed in the Senate chamber, also the pods can only move from side to side, no silly force magic here! Minifigures include Bail Organa, Padmé Amidala, Palpatine, Finis Valorum, Más Amedda, Mon Mothma, Orn Free TAA, Stonk, Jar-Jar Binks, those alien guys, that one with the werid hair, blue dudes, and those ET looking creatures. Have fun building! For real I would love a Jedi Temple set, but sadly for that reason it may never happen. I can still hope though!

    Wow, younger me what have exploded this year, new Yoda's Hut and Cloud City. Great year for Empire. I think the set looks great. I love the midscale vehicles included, and all the areas from the film seem to be here. Only problems would be I wish it looked better as an exterior set, maybe add some to the empty spaces, and make new Carbonite mold. The $350 price will be hard to swallow as I usually don't spend that high but it looks worth it.

    Hope this Cloud City is as good as I think it will be. I have been saving up for it. Also 20th anniversary Star Wars sets has me very exited. The ones in 2009 were pretty good.

    Wow, as someone who does not care for microfighters or battle packs this is bad. 2 remakes of sets we got 4 years ago, a bunch or junior sets, and maybe an ok escape set, but for $30 I'm not holding my breath. This is just like the Ninjago list and I am not a fan.

    Did not get today but recently got 75209 Han Solo's Landspeeder, 75208 Yoda's Hut, and 10761 The Great Home Escape. As Of now I only built the Landspeeder buy hope to build the others soon.

    5. Lupin 4. Trelawney 3. Mad-Eye 2. Hagrid 1. Richard Harris Dumbledore (maybe favorite figure of the year) Have not seen the sets or cmf but hope to see and buy them soon.

    After finishing all of my wanted of 2017 sets I can now move onto 2018. Woohoo, my first 2018 sets are 76100 Royal Talon Fighter Attack and 76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown. Can't build them now as I need to make more space but that shouldn't take long. Next paycheck I will probably get spring/summer sets, and then I can move onto Harry Potter.

    Quick thoughts on the new set. Overall I love it. I wish that a a James Bond figure was included in the set but besides that it's a nice looking set. Probably my favorite D2C car build since the Volkswagen.

    Bit late but here are my thoughts on the new Aquaman movie set. Well I think the new figures are good, that's about it. The sub is a boring black mess with only a cockpit making it a very boring vehicle, honestly I liked the one from the 2015 set better. I was hoping for some cool side build Atlantis structures but none are to been seen. Easy skip considering I got last year's Atlantis set.

    Well I am a bit surprised to see a comic based set for 2019, I thought it would be like this year and be completely movie based sets. Thoughts on the set, first off minifigures. I am glad that we are getting a new Spidey, been way to long, also new Venom is nice. I wish there would be more villains we have never gotten before but maybe they will be in other comic based sets or even Far From Home sets. (Mysterio has been waiting a while) Spidey Gwen looks fine, I don't know the character so she does not interest me. Aunt May could have been replaced with someone we have not gotten before, like Liz, Flash, Harry, or even Uncle Ben. The spider-mech is bad, really bad, I have said I am getting tired of superhero mechs and this adds to the hate. It looks like a Mega Blocks set from 2012. Also it waste parts and bumps up price. I actually like the Venom build, sort of like Giant-man and Ares, though I like them better. Overall I think it's ok, I assume I might like some of the other comic sets or Far From Home sets better as they will probably have new characters.

    Here are my thoughts on new sets. The Unikitty looks cute, though I have never been one to buy sets just because there cute. New Wildstyle Is great, and the brick built Duplo is my favorite part of the set. This will be a nice set for kids but easy pass for me. Mad Max truck looks ok, love the new figure, reminds me of the late 2000's era a bit. I wish the truck looked better, the big wheels make it look ugly, I wish they would have gone full apocalyptic and had no big wheels, more gritty feeling. Rest of the truck is fine. The new Spaceship is my favorite if the 3. I love the inclusion of both minifigures and mini dolls. I also love space sets and this is the first none Star Wars one since the first Lego Movie. Hoping for a really nice interior. Overall nice group to a hopefully also theme. Love the clash of the apocalyptic sets and space sets so far and hope it continues.

    Well it's already time to start on 2019, time goes by fast. Firefly is a nice surprise, he makes me think the wave will focus more on villains to coincide with the villian video game. I will echo the fact that Flash could have been replaced by a new hero or one we have not gotten in awhile, like Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter. Poison Ivy could have also been replaced by someone new like Mad Hattern or Hush. I'm really getting sick of superhero mechs, they are so overused and almost always look bad. This one is no exception. Wish they would stop making mechs and vehicles and focus on things we have not gotten like the Hall Of Justice or Legion Of Doom. Overall Firefly is the only good thing for me, and he is not worth $39.99. Recently DC has dropped and in quality and I really don't know why.

    Thoughts on new Solo sets. The Cloud Rider Swoop Bikes has some nice figures, builds are bland. Nice little Battle pack though. Imperial AT- Hauler looks bad to me. I think it looks to blocky and odd. I like the little catwalk build though, minifigures are interesting but based off useless characters so I don't care for them. The Conveyex is my favorite set of the Solo bunch. A nice build which the others lack, though no interesting figs here. I wish it was bigger though. Overall I don't care for any of the late 2018 Star Wars sets except the Conveyex and Snoke's Throne Room. This half is not as good as the first one. Do we know if the other UCS set is Cloud City? Thinking of maybe saving for it.

    Wow, well my hope for this set just died down a lot. I liked the helicarrier and I'm sure the set will still be pretty cool but I think it would have been way better if it was a normal set. Oh well, that rumored UCS Cloud City set is looking better now.

    Thank you. Interesting there is no young Dumbledore in the FB sets. It also seems we have seen all the sets except the cmf series and of course the D2C set. I guess I can start deciding which ones I want.

    The last mafia school was in March I think, and before that I have no idea. Maybe 3 years ago. If I were you I would just sign up for whatever mafia game pops up next.

    The suitcase set look nice. I'm curious about how the transformation from suitcase to area for beast will happen. I think more beast might have been better for the set. Figs also look nice. I assume there is one more FB set left, probably with Dumbledore. I don't follow this thread a lot but how many sets have we not seen? Is the Knight Bus still happening?

    My favorite current theme would probably be Marvel Super Heroes. I love the movies and the sets always have unique characters and builds (most of the time). Also that is the theme I get the most sets from, though the new Harry Potter theme may take Marvel's place if it keeps up this year's quality. Though all time is a bit hard, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Indiana Jones and original Batman themes, as they are what got me into Lego. If Indiana Jones comes back that might instantly take my top theme place.

    Snitch and Flintstones are most likely but I went with Flintstones as I think it has a wider audience. Treehouse, Mystery Science Theater, and Acclamator Class Assault Ship have no chance.

    Aragog set is nice, it's good not having an expensive set in this wave. I feel and hope this will be popular with kids at how it's the least expensive set. Aragog build is the best we have gotten by far, so good job there, maybe even best Lego spider build ever. The side build is a side build, good but not great. Minifigures are great if your not getting the more experience sets. Before I saw pictures of the wave I was planning on only getting this as the others sounded too expensive for places I cared little about, but after pictures that has changed. Probably won't get this one for myself. So far I'm definitely planning on getting the Quidditch set, maybe Great Hall or Whomping Willow (leaning towards Great Hall), and depending on how it looks maybe the D2C Hogwarts. So far this has been a fantastic theme though, best of 2018 by far.

    Not a big fan of the Minecraft theme but I do dig that Skull Arena. Looks like a fun set with new figures and a build that is more based of fan creations. Skelton set looks bland, and Bedrock set looks bad. But again I like the Skull Arena.
