I want to build a proper DeLorean and in order to do so I need metallic silver parts. Obviously. Now I know most of the parts I need are officially not available. However, it has come to my attention some folks make it a sport to hunt and collect parts in colors they officially don´t exist in. So my best guess is to just ask around for the following parts in metallic silver: 1x4 Tile (7) 1x2 Tile (7) 1x1 Tile (1) 2x2 Tile (2 - and I know these exist) 1x2 Grill (1) 1x6 plate (1) 1x4 plate (4) 1x3 plate (2) 1x2 plate (4) 1x2 Jumper (4) 2x3 plate (4) 2x4 plate (4) 1x2 brick (2) 1x3 brick (1) 1x4 brick (1) 1x2 plate modified (4) 1x1 with clip (8) 2x4 wedge (1 - these do exist) 2x4 wedge (1 - yes, they do) I have some metallic silver parts for trade that I found in an Agents 1.0 set: 4 2 1

This is really a lovely set, as all the Discovery Chanel sets were. In order to celebrate the 40th anniversary properly, you need to build the warehouse filled with sand, where they superimposed this lunar landing to fool the public

I didn´t find a parts list so far. That´s another disadvantage from LDD. On the other hand, TLC wants to make money selling bricks, not giving clues what bricks you have to get from BL to build your creation

That´s some impressive amount of buildings. I´m not too keen on the simplicity of some of the buildings that look like classic town rather than CC standard. Mainly because of the primary colors used and the really plain facades, but some of the buildings really are great, with some nice ideas and interesting choices of style and purpose. I´d love to see your layout soon

If it is indicated as available, you will get all the parts. I ordered several of my LDD creations in the past and only once I had a complaint when 2 ordinary pieces were missing. Or they fell out the box when I opened it and got sucked into the vacuumer... No idea. However, you really should try to see if you can get the parts cheaper via BL. When you order uncommon parts anyway, you can as well compare the prices from Legos PaB and BL and in the best case just add those parts to your BL order.

This is the most impressive and instantly recognizable Hummer I´ve ever seen in Lego. I´d love to see some building instructions or at least a few building steps. I have to add this to my city layout!

Ooops, I didn´t know they change the inventory regularly. I mean it makes sense for the minifig parts, but the "standard" bricks appeared to me like they were always in stock... I´ll let everyone know when I get there again next month.

Cool! You made some interesting changes (the minifig heads for thrusters are really neat!) and I dig the color scheme. Looks a lot like Star Wars now, though.

With the creative skills to build a ship like that, you should try to tackle the "Rodger Young" from Starship Troopers. The front really reminded me of that ship and I´d love to see a RY in that scale.

I see that identically, that´s why I´ll be adding more random stuff. 37.) in black. Has anyone visiting the Fabrik in Legoland Günzburg ever made an inventory of the stuff they had? I think this would be a timeconsuming but very beneficial project. So when folks want to get there, they can estimate before going how much money they need to bring. Furthermore, when trying to get all the parts for your next MOC, browsing the inventory of the PaB store might actually justify a visit of the Legoland. So, what do you think? Or do you even know of someone who has done so before?
