You should use some wedge bricks at the bridge floor to get rid of the over-blocky appearance.

I´m not the biggest fan of licensed themes as they are just way to expensive compared to original themes, but I would SOOOOO buy every Doctor Who set I could lay my hands on. Only problem is I would need more storage room then. Maybe a box that is bigger in the inside? :D

I LOVE those minifigs! Look at all those new hairpieces! A dream come true for minifig customizers!
-
I´ll buy it! Lot´s of very useful parts for my projects. I can never have enough of those stylish, curvy white bricks :)

At times like this I hate myself for sticking to the 6-wide cars, 8-wide trucks scheme instead of the classic 4-wide cars, 6-wide trucks. This set is a real beauty, but I could never ever use it for my tabletown layout. What a shame.

Amazing minis! I love the attention to detail even at this scale. Keep up the excellent work!
-
I like both the same. Excellent design. It definetly captures that C3 ´Vette feeling! If only TLG would make a windshield like that in 6wide...
-
Ah, allright. I´ll give them a try. Have all the neccessary sets :)

This is the first time I hear about a three set combo ?!?!?! Any chance of hooking me up?
-
Aww man. I wanted to buy this set yesterday, but the folks at the lego shop in Frankfurt, Germany told me it´s out of stock. Now I know why. People get two of it while others cant get even one... ;-) I´m jealous. Yes. I vote for none of the above, as I would rather MOD two of the sets to become one big unique building rather than having two identically looking ones places next to another.

What´s this free PaB all about? Does that offer include Germany? I´ll definetly get to the next Lego store then in a hurry :D Wanted to buy the Grand Emporium anyway :)

Oh, okay :) Anway, there are two basic designs of a Viper. The 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica and the latest installment from 2002 or so. Already decided which way to go?
-
So.... you are building a Viper without knowing what a Viper is? Tough job
-
You did it once again. Great job and finally my favorite ship from one of my favorite movies :)
-
Well... it´s a nice 5-wider, but it doesn´t really scream Bimmer to me...

Just found this ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.de/Lego-10182-5x-Cafe-Corn...=item4ced33397d That guy offers a MOC of FIVE Cafe Corners. While the mass of parts is already amazing, the MOC itself looks spectacular. Sadly deeplinking the pic is impossible, so I needed to post the auction itself. I might be traveling to that guys store where the building is located and take some better pictures to share.

The Master is spot on!

Infinite Space. Infinite Terror. Event Horizon.

Great ship as usual! I really love your minimodels and appreciate that you offer building instructions. Have you ever made minimodels of that other ´97 Sci-Fi movie Starship Troopers? :) -

Red Moon Confirmation & Discussion thread
DJ Force replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I´m torn between willing to play and admitting not being able to play. The pace in this game is pretty fast - a lot faster than I expected - and I feel myself not being able to compete with this speed. I noticed this morning the new chapter is up and already has 6 pages. I just can´t read 6 pages worth of gameplay, post my action, leave for work, get on again in the evening just to find another 6 pages - or 22 players anxiously waiting for my responses. It would just not be fair, so sadly I have to offer my character to the next player who can contribute more to the gameplay than I. -
I think the most important set of the past (resp. still ongoing) decade is Cafe Corner. No other set had this impact and importance to AFOLs and Newcomers alike. It brought back more people to building and playing with Lego than any other set, while it´s not even the best Modular set of the available 4 so far (yes, I´m counting Market Street, too). So according to the point of importance, Cafe Corner was the best set. However, I have one Cafe Corner, but three Custom Garages. Custom Garage inspired me more than any other set in the past TWO decades to imagine, invent and build MOCs. Plus it inspired me to start building my own tabletown with 6-wide vehicles, combine it with the Modular houses, MOC streets (I hope I´ll be able to share pics of my layout this year, once it´s completely set up), official cars, Indy sets and own cars. And I started to populate my city with all my friends and family as Lego minifigures, which I´ve never ever done before, not even in my childhood back in the 80ies. So, for me 10200 Custom Garage is THE BEST SET period.

Gah. I cannot read 11 pages worth of discussion now, so my only question is if it is already confirmed if Indy continues or is going to get cancelled. It would be so great to have more Indy sets. It´s by far the best licensed theme and most compatible to many other themes. Most of all the obvious city theme. TLC could produce Indy sets based on comics or videogames in the Indy universe. And there´s still Young Indy Chronicles. It would be just awesome to have some Fate of Atlantis sets.
