  1. This is the Beginning of the Project Sentai Mountain. I decided to continue and expand the idea of Project Sentai Mountain with a nice fan-fic, to implement all our new vehicles, add-ons and of course the new and improved modular Sentai Headquarter. The story takes place within the last official comic, just before the Exo-Force takes off for their rescue mission. Hope you like it! The Beginning of Project Sentai Mountain "We need to rescue Sensei Keiken!" Hikaru shouted, much to the others surprise. Hikaru wasn´t known to be impulsive, but at this moment, Ryo and Takeshi literally had to hold him back from jumping into his Sky Guardian and to take off for a rescue mission. "We will rescue him", Takeshi grunted, while Hikaru was trying to get lose from his grip. "But we need a battle plan first!" Slowly, Hikaru calmed down a bit. Of course, a battle plan. This was his part of the action. Being the mind of the combat team. A battle plan. Ryo shook his head. "We have no idea at all where the Robots may have taken Sensei, nor where this mysterious Golden City Outpost might be located." Hikaru agreed. "Furthermore, if we take off to this rescue mission, the Golden City will be defenseless." Hitomi was about to protest, but Hikaru quickly went on: "No offense, Hitomi. I know you´re a skilled fighter and a brave Mech-pilot." - "Yeah, but to be honest, Hikaru, Ha-Ya-To and Takeshi are far more experienced in battle than both of us", Ryo explained. "The Golden City doesn´t stand a chance against the robots if the Exo-Force isn´t there to protect it." Hitomi sighed. Ryo was right. Although she knew the Golden Cities defense technology like no other, they just weren´t enough to match the firepower of the Robot forces if they decided for another attack. "But what can we do?" she shouted. "Sensei gave us new Mechs", Takeshi said. "This means we have the Sky Guardian, the Aero Booster, the Blade Titan and the Cyclone Defender to spare. And with the recently discovered army of Golden Guardians, this should give us some time to improve on our defense system. Ryo, Hitomi, do you think you can make up something?" "Of course!" the two shouted as if one-mouthed, then looked at each other and had to grin. They were back in action again. "Hikaru, Takeshi and I will check our new Mechs", Ha-Ya-To said. "I´m calling dibs on the River Dragon! Such a cool machine!" "Do that!" Ryo agreed. "Hitomi and I will try to invent some new stationary weapons for the Golden City walls. They are basically defenseless." Ryo didn´t even finish his sentence, as a sudden energy blast shook the outer wall and let it explode. "We´re under attack!" Takeshi screamed, as his reflexes took over and made him jump into the Blade Titan. "Takeshi, what are you doing?" Hikaru shouted. "We need to test the new machines, and this is the perfect opportunity!" "You´re right. Let´s go for it!" "Ryo, quick! We need to start working now!" Hitomi ordered, as another shot made the walls crumble and personell ran around to man the Golden Guardians. Hitomi and Ryo ran as fast as they could into Ryos Workshop. They were perfectly sure that the Exo-Force would fight back the Robots again this time, but they needed to improve the Golden City defense system. Another blast! A direct hit! They heard the high energy beams humming before it pierced a hole into the workshops wall. The explosion followed soon after and bricks scattered the floor. Ryo reacted quickly! Immediatly he ran to Hitomi to protect her, before the shockwave hit them. "Agh, get off of me!" Hitomi coughed as the dust filled her lungs. "You´re welcome!" Ryo smiled. Another humming! "U-Oh..." was all Ryo could say, before another energy beam pierced through the hole. This explosion even bigger than the first one. "They must have some kind of automatic targeting system!" Hitomi shouted and activated her commlink. "Hikaru for Hitomi, come in!" - "Hikaro here, I´m listening! What´s up?" the answer came promptly. Quickly Hitomi informed the Chameleon Hunter pilot about her theory. "Copied!" came Hikarus short answer and immediatly he passed the info to Ha-Ya-To. "We need to find the source of those energy beams and get Ryo and Hitomi some time!" After the dust cleared of, Ryo rose up from the ground to examine the damage. A giant hole in the workshops outer wall. But to his big surprise, the opposite wall sported another hole. What surprised Ryo about this was the fact that whatever was behind the wall lied in total darkness, although it was a perfectly bright day. A hidden room? "Hitomi! Flashlights!" he snapped and moved towards the hole. Carefully watching that he wouldn´t stand in the direct line between the two holes, if another energy beam would pierce through the walls. But a distant explosion of something giant convinced him that the source of those energy beams must have been vaporized. "Target destroyed!" Hikarus voice came in from the commlink to confirm Ryos conviction. Hitomi showed up at Ryos side, handing him a flashlight. They switched on their flashlights and two powerful beams of light cut through the darkness. But the dust and the total darkness behind the walls were too thick even for two flashlights. "See that? Wires in the concrete. Undamaged." Ryo was unusually monosyllabic. "There must be some kind of energy floating through these walls. I wonder what lies behind..." "Let´s find out", Hitomi whispered and pulled out a small machine out of her pockets. She moved the machine towards the wire and the machine automatically connected itself with it. Hitomi then pushed some buttons and the small display read "Luminating System". "Jackpot!" she smiled and pushed another button. With a distant humming sound the darkness started to vanish, as the old Golden City electronics started to illuminate what appeared to be a big hall, a hangar. And inside... "You got it, Hitomi. Jackpot!" Ryo agreed. The room indeed was a hangar. And it housed a dozen of sleek, winged and armed Mini-Flyers. "Wow!" Hitomi whispered in awe, as she walked towards the next Mini-Flyer for a closer inspection. "Careful!" Ryo warned, but Hitomi didn´t even listen. She climbed into the pilots seat, switched on the machines and fired up the engine. Immediatly the small flying vehicle rose up several feet above the ground. "That´s awesome, Ryo!" Hitomi smiled all over her face. "Inform the others. We´ve got reinforcements coming in! Get some pilots in here quickly! I´ll see where the hangar doors are. There have to be some after all!" The Golden City Mini-Flyer:
  2. Wow, what a great archive! Really cool! Thanks a lot for the link!
  3. Thanks a lot! I never saw those realistic character designs before. I wonder if those costumes can be made for cosplay. Would certainly look cool! What I still need are those character profile heads that can also be seen on the box-arts. There were some in the set, but those were awfully small. And maybe a breakdown of those symbols and what they stand for. There´s this Chinese Symbol in a circle that can be seen on almost all the mechs, vehicles and playsets. That circle with thick beams around it, which I assume stands for Base Support and Base-Defense (as it can be seen on Uplink and the Mobile Defence Tank) That tri-star aim-cross (I haven´t the faintest what that´s called. It´s "Fadenkreuz" in German) And then there are two symbols that look like flying units. But why make two different symbols for the airforce?
  4. Thanks a lot! But it´s not even finished yet. I guess the price will be ridiculously highwith LDD. And it doesn´t even offer all the pieces I need. So I´m just using that program for the basic design and buy the neccessary parts from BL. Originally I envisioned that vehicle as orange, but I think red works good, too.
  5. I second every single word! Perfect work!
  6. Please feel free! I´m not intending to buy the pieces from LDD but from BL. So I can chose the parts and the colors I want, not LDD wants
  7. Here´s my former Orient Expedition collection. I guess that was the only line (except Exo-Force nowadays) that I really had every set from. Even all the promo sets. Too bad I had to sell these. I had them all with their original boxes and instructions in perfect condition, but I needed money At least I can still look at the photos...
  8. I love the Uplink Alternate Speeder, so I thought why not do that with the other Mini Mechs, too? So here´s the White Speeder: And the evil Robots Red Speeder: Both Speeders are built only with the parts of their equivalent Gate Assault Mechas. Hope you like them
  9. I´ve got some stuff for sale that I don´t need anymore. Minifig parts: all parts are used, some show heavy wear, some are painted. Most heads are. Except the heads most pieces might be cleaned pretty easy with e.g. turpentine. 13 Euros Police Task-Force: Boat 4010 - instructions included, but some parts are missing 6354 - 100% complete with building instructions 6664 - just the instructions and a handful of minifigs 25 Euros Rallye-Sport: 6634 - 100% complete with instructions additional car, no instructions and I don´t know if its complete or not. Check the pic. 5 Euros Bionicle Nuhvok 8561: complete with building instructions. 4 Euros Exo-Force Building Instructions: 7701 - Grand Titan 7702 - Thunder Fury 7704 - Sonic Phantom 7705 - Gate Assault 7708 - Uplink 7708 - Uplink again 7711 - Sentry 3885 - Mini-Promo 3885 - Mini-Promo again ...or best offer!
  10. Tropico 2 -The Pirate´s Cove has a VERY good soundtrack! You can even buy a Soundtrack CD, it appears on ebay sometimes. But there are only 5 songs on it. Best is to buy the game (it´s not that expensive after all) and record the music while playing the game (it´s a very good game after all )
  11. I´m afraid I don´t get it. I NEVER noticed square studs in my whole life. They´ve always been round. What exactly are you talking about, then? Maybe a pic can help.
  12. I was wondering if anyone has saved those cool character profile pictures and other promo material, fan-site assets etc. TLC offered on the official EF website? I´m planning to make some cool add-ons for EF and need those pics. Especially those of the first wave from 2006
  13. Sounds good. Just don´t make it like a flying school bus (Anyone seen Disney´s Sky High?)
  14. Thanks! Wouwie: Yeah, personal transport sounds good. But I guess the airspace might get a little crowded when everybody has their own flyer. But maybe we can adapt this idea for a transporter? At least with two passenger seats, maybe? By the way... If you want to, you can feel free to adapt the design and swap the colors so it fits with the Sentai HQ. My design is Golden City, but Project Sentai Mountain is mainly about the HQ, not the city. Asuka: Thanks! I wonder how long those transparent mudguards will stay transparent when the jeep is roaming through mud Initially I was planning to make the whole thing orange, but LDD doesn´t offer the neccessary parts. So I´m just planning the build now with LDD an swap the colors later.

    Red Runner

Great, thanks a lot! What sets did you use for this one? Or did you pick the parts from your parts bin?
  16. Lime Green as a touch of color sounds cool for the Robots! I´ll give that a try. Any particular piece(s) you could imagine in lime green? As for the good side, I was thinking about either red or orange. Orange, as that is the standard EF color, and red because that´s the "army" color of EF...
  17. I chose the one with the better baseplate! um....
  18. Here´s one of the older designs, as promised. A Robot Speeder: Sorry, no details available. A WIP ground support jeep - based on the latest harbour crane set, forgot the set-number. The cool green vehicle, you know it (Planning to add a really heavy cannon instead of the crane arm of the original set) And something new: The Golden City Flyer - an update to an older design. I already ordered the parts from BL - of course in dark red and with gold parts, so that the color scheme matches the Golden City.
  19. I was browsing through my comic book collection the other day and found a Captain America issue with a very interesting cannon design inside. I thought maybe I could build this one with Lego, but noticed pretty soon I don´t have the parts needed. Fortunatly, LDD offers most of the pieces needed That´s why I built this: I want to order the parts needed from BL, but I need some input as for the color scheme. I was planning to make this either an Exo-Force or a Robots cannon. What do you think would be a good color scheme for those fractions? btw: C&C welcome
  20. Thanks a lot! Although that wasn´t really intended. But now you mention it, it really seems to have been an unconcious inspiration...
  21. While browsing through this thread again, I noticed that some of the older pics aren´t showing up anymore, because I linked them directly to the Factory-page. Therefore I´m uploading all my old designs into a BS folder at this moment. I´ll update the first posting in this thread with the link - and of course I´ll paste the link in the latest posting, too I even found some old designs I haven´t posted here yet. So stay tuned for some more LDD MOCs

I like it! A lot! The only thing I don´t like is your lighting. The pics are just too dark everytime. If I´m the only one to say so, it´s just my luck (or my monitor) then. But I´d prefer some more light to see the whole beauty of this MOC. On a side note: You don´t happen to have building instructions for that one, do you?

    Gosh, a stalker!
  24. Come on, Blacktron. His name MIGHT give you a clue!

    Police car

VERY cool! I really like it! If you swap some colors and bricks, you might as well have a very sleek and goodlooking sportscar for the police to chase (After all, there are lots of police vehicles in the Lego assortment, but almost no civilian cars...)
