I don´t know, it´s just too narrow for me, being only 6 studs wide. It has to hold a lot of books and give the citizens enough space to go in, take a good look at all those books and walk out with a pile of them in their hands It might get a little crowdy in there. But then again, that´s just my opinion and everybody has their personal taste of things.

I guess I would have chosen an 8-wide design for a bus. But it looks good all in all. I´ll check the LDD file and give feedback, when I´ve got the time for it

Yep, so did I.

I guess I agree with the majority of your points. Since this is a Lego forum, I´d like to add some thoughts about the recent Indy 4 Lego sets. River Chase: Nice set, nice vehicles, nice playability, but I haven´t seen this in the movie. No sowjet treehouse, no boat, no aligator. The carboat is a nice rendition of the vehicle in the movie, though. All in all this set is quite random and doesn´t have much to do with the movie. Still a nice addition to any collection and display. Sowjet camp: Nice set, all the important stuff of the movie scene is there. But there´s even more. The sword holder thingy that is so prominently featured in several sets wasn´t even featured once in the movie. Junglecutter: Nice rendition of the vehicle in the movie, but the vehicle in the movie didn´t really have such a big and important part. It could be best compared with the Bespin Cloud Car. A nice vehicle to be seen in the movie and to have in bricks, but not half as important as an A-Wing or even the Millenium Falcon. All the other stuff in the set is cool, though. I don´t remember that entrance in a scene with the vehicle, but somehow you know it´s somewhere in the vicinity. Very nice set, just a little expensive IMO. Temple of the Crystal Skulls: I know, there has to be a big playset, and most of the features of the film are there. There are even some more features in the set that I couldn´t see in the movie, although I´ve been constantly looking for them. The bad thing about this set is that so many different scenes from so many different locations are put into it, that it seems a little random again. This could easily be a Johnny Thunder set as well. I wouldn´t be able to instantly recognize it as an Indy-set if it wheren´t for the minifigs. The TRU exclusive plane: Wasn´t featured in the movie prominently enough to justify a set, but truth to be told, Indy HAS to travel a lot, and in most cases he does with planes.

Call me oldfashioned, but I don´t like MM too much. I bought the smallest set to give the theme a chance, but somehow it lacks some realism, especially when it comes to cockpit design. I´d love to see a new installment of Exo Force. Maybe not in 2009 yet, but that line still has so much to give, so many possibilities, and we still need a Robot base.

I just came home from the cinema. I watched carefully, but I couldn´t find a scene like that in the film. Also, this strange and oh-so-important sword-holder featured in so many sets wasn´t in the movie, too. Strange. I sense a directors cut Or just a way to make more money with a plane and some stuff instead of just offering it in the city theme.

Damn. Just when you move from NRW to Bavaria, something cool is going on in Oberhausen :(

Looking good! But my RA2 times are a little far behind me. Could you post images of the original vehicles? Just for comparison?

Aww. I sense a really cute love story in the making Seriously, you really manage to give them minifigs a personality. Very good work indeed!

Mine is a one of the first, a ´84 SE with the speakers in the headrest I´ve got another one, a black ´88 GT with manual transmission, completly torn apart for restauration, and half a third one in red for spare parts. I don´t like the GT nose too much, though. IMO it took away from the personality of the car. On the other hand, the Formula front that I have from the red one looks quite good. But it seems like the white one is being sold soon. I got a really really good offer for it. Too bad to hear you had so many problems with your one. Luckily the only big problem my Fiero suffered was a broken $5-piece. Unfortunatly I wasn´t able to locate that problem for almost 5 years, and that´s why the car stood unused these 5 years. But I assure you, it was one of the best days of my life when I finally located the problem, took the spare part from the red car, fixed the engine with that and the motor started at once! (with 5 year old gas inside *lol*) I never squeezed more people in there than allowed, but took some hitchhikers on the backlid And my car was featured in a short-movie

I don´t think it clashes. As someone mentioned before, these things happen. You take an ordinary building and move a post office inside, the building gets painted yellow. At least where the post office itself is located

I took a break from reading, but cought up recently and enjoy the stories more than ever before. It´s great to see you really had a plot for everything and its turning out really clever! I´m looking forward to seeing the next episodes!

Hear, hear. I guess it´s not that difficult to build this gun with real bricks. I´ll give it a try tonight and see if and how good the minifig can hold the gun. In LDD it seemed to work, but then again, it´s possible to stick the black palmtree-top inside the black loudhailer-gun so deep that it actually crushes through the loudhailer Try it!

Looking really good so far! Might I just sugest adding a 1x3 black plate to the black frontparts to make it stick out a little, and replacing the grill with a flat tile? Looks even more accurate then, I guess. Oh, and since I cannot see the right side... There´s no air intake in front of the rear wheel on the right side. Just to let you know

Well, since I´m a Toydarian an´ mindtricks donna work on me... What´s in the top floor? Seriously, this is an excellent building! I really love it. Seeing wonderful creations such as this really makes me want to go and buy some city sets, too. It blends so perfectly in with CC and MS. Looking forward to seeing the whole street including GG.

Er... You´re right. It´s meant to be carried and used with both hands. The second hand can grap the bars covering the 2 1x1 round plates.

A weapons rack this time. I just designed the rifle and thought, it needs some storage shelf. Pieces: 86 Price: EUR 8.92 http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...ef-1f48b266b90e

That´s an impressive amount of Blacktron minifigs! And a very nice background scenerie there, too!

Looking good for a starter, but not yet the sleek sports car that the Fiero is. And the link doesn´t work somehow My fault. I should have mentioned before that the trunk on the picture has been swapped and is actually white as the rest of the car now, and it´s got a removable sunroof, not simply a black roof. And the rear wing is huge! I´ll try to post some more pics of the car for reference. Please also google for some reference pics if things are unclear. Apart from the rearwing it´s an unmodified ´84 2m4 model. The car is a mid-engine (directly behind the seats), engine is accessable from the rear lid. The back also has space for a piece of luggage, but that´s abot it EDIT: Here are some more ref pics: (The yellow stripe isn

Okay, I cannot wait to see a pic of the model

Yep. Either call them, or use their service on the lego.de website. I got several missing pieces from the Lego customer service, and they also replaced a broken piece of my Golden Tower. Nevertheless, the HRT is by far the most disappointing EF 2008 set. It looks so cool on the box, but once built, it´s just too hollow. There´s nothing in there. No engine, no hull, no walls, nothing. But to make up for that, there are far too many guns pointing out. Very very poor.

Wonderful Thank you very much in advance! Same goes to SirNadroj of course, if he decides to start building, too

A very fine oiltanker indeed. But I have to confess I´m just a little bit more impressed by the railroad tunnel in the background. That one really looks wonderful! But that might just be me. I´m gathering inspiration for landscaping at the moment
-
Well, the quad looks quite similar to the one we got in Dino Attack (or Dino 2010) But the colors really are cool! Truck, trailer and boat seem to be a very fine build. Go have some more fun and share the pics!

Are you talking about Factory Sets, designed in LDD? Those have no building instructions at all. You need to download the LDD-file, open it with LDD and click on building instructions. Then the program gives you virtual instructions for the bricks you ordered.
