  1. I agree, but you don't know what might come of course :)
  2. Indeed, as we expected. The train could be better in my opinion.
  3. it is especially bad for people that are non-native speakers. My cousin was also quite stupid. He thought he bought grams of gold at ebay, but they were grains (0,06 grams or so). That is the problem with sites like ebay. When we buy LEGO there we almost always just come and pick it up even if it will cost us a day driving.
  4. Brown rail pieces? what do you mean?! I have looked at the inventory of 10025 and I don't see it.

    MOC: School

A bit old-fashioned with the blackboard, but a great school!!! Must be a tech class with that robot in the back ;)
  6. I totally agree, also strange that the loc (fortunately) has normal train wheels.
  7. I don't agree, those are way better than the LEGO versions ;) although I like the old 9V version rail vehicles.
  8. Very nice indeed!!! Also looks like some Dutch trains (not the front).
  9. Yet another reason to get a Mac ;)
  10. Well, I just thought of my banner that I made some time ago, not nice to post directly in your topic... Yups it is always costly, same problem here (not so much for stickers, but bricklink etc :)) and electronics of course...
  11. there are indeed some nice new parts! like the large (2x4) angle plates... €0.40
  12. very nice indeed... and what can I say ;) my minifigs agree about the stickers :p (link)
  13. and of course the narrow gauge one!
  14. I agree, but mixing colors is almost impossible with our printer, but I have gray that matches LEGO quite well.
  15. I think I'm going to need to quit my job (I'm not sure my students will love that, or then again... they might ;))... Portholes huh. I have a lot of red windows but only a few gray indeed. I'll do my best but can't promise anything yet.
  16. Astonishing!!!! Really, really nice!
  17. Will do I think I still have a bunch from the first batch ;)
  18. The Arduino guys have them (uhm, used to have them some weeks ago) it is nice for making prototypes e.g. but I think a RepRap is also nice for customization. A CNC mill takes away materials (so input is a large solid block of e.g. ABS), a 3D printer makes more practical use for LEGO modifiers I think since it can print materials. B.t.w. it is not really a 'digital tool' is it?!
  19. It depends on what kind of track. At the moment I just have 9V and RC track. We have a whole bunch of Curver Uniboxes to store all LEGO, so also the tracks. Straight track is put away in segments of 4 most of the time. I use 20L boxes for most of the LEGO (they are easier to fit in the car for events and fit nicely in these: Our attic has two rows of 5 of these (3 20L boxes fit nicely next to each other).
  20. 99207 for the "Angular Plate 1.5 bot 1x2" 2/2 99780 for the "Angular Plate 1.5 bot 1x2" 1/2
  21. These are just perfect for trains aren't they?!! LDD has them on board. LEGO release them!!! LugBulk VI?!!!
  22. I stumbled upon 99780! That is indeed a nice part!!! But in no set at the moment?!! Same for 99207!
  23. Sehr schön ;) Very nice!
