  1. Really nice! I like the 2CV the best!!! Keep on MOCcing!
  2. Quite a nice set, congrats on your promotion and a very nice review!
  3. A good start! Now only the other floors and some appropriate stickers :)
  4. Welcome @ EB and enjoy your stay! Your English is better than my Finnish ;) There are quite some people here that like technique like DLuders and have a lot of great ideas!
  5. Well they also give you nice food parts and a bbq etc so 15$ is not bad!
  6. Well, parts are nice, the train has quite some nice parts I think so we can use it in other builds can't we!
  7. It would be easier for the stores to just upload that kind of inventory I think...
  8. Well a LEGO mindstorms robot wouldn't draw that much attention I guess ;)
  9. In LL Windsor they placed a legoland sized figure of Queen Elisabeth at the balcony of brickingham palace News item can be read here: http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gbhErs2Erovz295g0KPO1R1js1Aw?docId=CNG.d72d81de5890e82118d43c44307a4135.2e1 It turns out the figure has real diamonds so might be the most expensive LEGO built until now.
  10. The RC ones have, but the PF ones are efficient and quite strong (see mr Hurbain (philohome) his finds)
  11. Boolean logic is always nice (although my high school students probably won't agree ;)) Nice job! Creating a NOT is of course quite a challenge.
  12. Very nice set, nice parts, good review!
  13. You might want to first introduce yourself. This is not a very promising start at EB.com I'm afraid. What are your own ideas about the attachments?!
  14. I think you are right with your suggestion: "My best guess is there happened to be another company called Lego. This says Japan and 1960 on it. I looked up Lego logos on brickipedia and didn't spot this particular logo style either."
  15. Well now that you mention, I remember it from when I was young (with 12V track). So solution: measure the resistant between both tracks, it should be near infinite otherwise there is a short, but not before removing the motors since they also cause a short (but have a large resistance so no problem, that is how they work).
  16. Really, really nice! LEGO can't make it so realistic and lovely ;)
  17. There used to be a guy in the states that was very famous with his bricklink shop that did the same trick. I took the liberty to look it up: http://www.justice.g...nberg102506.htm So this is probably his evil twin brother ;) I have seen more AFOLs steal LEGO (at events), even some people encourage their children to literally fill their pockets with LEGO. But as we all know: honesty is the best policy. @OfTopic: B.t.w. that was my 1000th post.
  18. Very nice tow truck! Russian brand isn't it?!! It comes out very nicely in such a scale. I didn't know they had those wheels in red. And you don't even mention that it is PF equipped!
  19. they are very nice, but a bit stupid that LEGO only releases them for the UK. I should do some swimming training in the summer vacation ;)
  20. Next step: getting the arm done! I would really like to see that happening, that would be valuable in classroom use. I'm not too affluent in the mech engineering part (my skills in software are much better and I know basic electronic skills as well). @DLuders: nice find!!!
  21. Looks very nice mr. LT ;) you will need a lot of LEGO and space to make a complete city on that level of detail (but it truly is minifig scale!).
  22. Not sure about the gifts, (I don't see wooden shoes ;))... but... I especially like your scaffolds very much. And having everything under construction also seems to typically Dutch (those morons, we recently got the pavements in our neighborhood, now they are digging up everything for fibre optics connections...) And the living area! Brilliant that bathroom.
  23. @Wrinkeldog, so where are you from? Welcome to EB.com and enjoy your stay!
  24. I don't think it is a short... he would detect that very soon... There generally is "a short" or "no short", not a short after several time. I would go for harnbaks solution first... if that doesn't help a multimeter could be used to detect shorts.
  25. But what then is arealight, I've never heard of it! Aha google told be they are customizers: http://www.arealightcustoms.com/
