  1. I'm sorry for you! Now my Ldd is in a looped update on current pc. When I run it, it continues to receiving data. Then, it run normally but with previous brickset version. When I quit and restart it, still starts the update. I have LDD running fine with tha last brickset on other two laptops.
  2. It's a strange thing! Finally, now all works fine and I have the regular colors palette ( solid colors, metal and legacy ). Maybe for you worth to uninstall LDD and run a fresh installation?
  3. Thanks! Master? Master of fakes ( you'll never find an existing Gundam Chroma )! Thank you! That head was simply and accidentally born in my hands rummaging in my son's Lego box. I'm not in any way so skilled with real bricks! Actually the real thing is incomplete, but I think to be able to give it the same look as the digital version ( though, not the same colors ). Thank you! Check my Fickr link if you like to see more pictures of other projects!
  4. New head based on tests with real bricks. Gundam Chroma - model B Gundam Chroma - model B Gundam Chroma - model C Gundam Chroma - model X Gundam Chroma - test with head attached to an older project's body the real thing ( incomplete )
  5. Great! THank you so much Alcom1!!!
  6. How do you preserve original LDD colors in resulting 3dvia's .3dxml file?
  7. Disabled the network card and ran LDD in offline mode. At least I can go on with my work in progress, that's better than nothing.
  8. Automatic update starts today, when launched LDD on 3 different pc. Each of them shows the same problem : LDD starts to install new bricks, receiving about 159 Mb of data. After that it quits! Tried to uninstall and go with a fresh installation, but I've still the same problem. I can't use LDD no more!
  9. Wow! Great shapes and colors. Awesome transformation. Nice work!
  10. Thank you! Maybe slightly smaller and dome-shaped beyblades would look better than these. Viewing from the front, these parts are too flat.
  11. Thank you! I immensely love Astray, is the best Gundam ever IMO I'm still working on this head and I don't know when I will start with body, it's a massive body! No problem sharing the file however, when it will be finished....
  12. Some tests for a new head using decorations where possible. I was ispired by the stunning Gundam Astray. Hope you like it
  13. Obviously, I've rendered it using LddToPOVRay converter. I've used these settings : Radiosity tab : Enabled (Fast); Enabled "Use sky sphere" with dark grey Single color; Outlines tab : enabled at maximum level of detail ( crease edge + silhouette ); Then, the final rendered image is treated with Akvis HDRFactory. You can download it free and have a 10 days of trial available. I've used the FadeEdges preset as starting preset, then tried some changes on settings. You can see another nice effect with a Photoshop filter, here's an example picture I've made:
  14. Thank you! Please, build you own, people need more beautiful Gundam!
  15. superb & brilliant, i like it very much!
  16. Thank you Doc_Brown!
  17. You can find instructions for the head, the link is at the top of this topic. It's the V.1 head. I'm still working on my creation, and after three months of work, I wanted to make some pictures. There are many things that I have to fix yet, but now I need absolutely a break. I'll be glad to share the LXF file when my creation will seem less fragile. Anyway, take a look at my first creation here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/373357 if you like it, you can download instructions!
  18. Thank you Leewan!
  19. Trying a different color scheme and introduced some modifications to the head :
  20. My latest LDD creation, more pictures here : http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/384519
  21. As always, another stunning, beautiful model!
  22. Thank you! I tried the red color and is not bad. I also tried transparent red eyes and they were not bad, but they tend to be too dark after rendering. maybe a light inside the eyes would be better, but I have to find out how to do it with PovRay. Thanks! I like your comparison with Mazinger. Perhaps my head shuttle is more similar to the Mazinger Z Jet Pilder. I would like to get that early '80 japanese robots style with shapes and color scheme.
