    On Monday I got 8260 for my birthday. When I searched the Brickshelf for the alternative models, I found only Zblj's forklift (which is awesome btw). The only possible idea that came to my mind was the DRAGSTER. It has got an adjustable wheelie bar that can also serve as the brake.

    The stickers are useless here. They do not help the design of the car at all. It looked fine without them.

    Thank you for your kind words. I tried my best and I was fortunately able to beat the number of the functions. My model has got 6 whereas the original 8052 has got 5. The sturdiness of this model is a bit improved compared to the original model. And as anything it also has some weak points. Connecting the air filters is definitely one of them, but there was no other way how to do it and I really wanted them on the model. The other one is the bonnet. If you look at the place where it is attached to the grille, it can rotate when you open it.

    M motor should be fine, I think you can put there an 8-tooth gear except the 24, since the M-motor is much slower Thank god this is legged and not wheeled, but thank you for your praise. I never did anything in LDD, but when I have time, I will make photo instructions. HEAVY DUTY TOW TRUCK An alternative model of 8052 Container truck with working steering, towing arm, outriggers, opening doors and bonnet and tilting towing fixture. Video to come soon.

    Exactly same opinion as you. Maybe it is because my name is Milan I would never expect a helicopter to be an alternative of a helicopter but this one is really good looking.

    Last three days I have been working on alternative model of 8052. Good news, a heavy duty tow truck with opening bonnet, doors, working outriggers,steering, towing arm and tilting towing fixture is ready. Pictures and instructions to come soon. Here is a little teaser.

    I cannot see a bloody thing from your video. The same thing works for your excavator photos. Sorry dude, but a lamp or a daylight is what I miss most here.

    It has already been introduced in this set- 8472 By hitting the bumper the car changes the direction and steers when going reverse. After another hit to the bumper it goes straight forward. Great and very underrated set, although the block with motor is way too big and I did not find any place for it in any of my MOCs.

    Great MOC, I love the rider and the whole concept of the video. The steering mechanism of the chopper is great as well.

    Reducing the costs, IMHO. If you buy anything, not just LEGO, metallic, it is more expensive than ordinary colours.
