  1. 7984 Republic Frigate 7143 Obi-Wan's Starfighter Damn Star Wars addiction. I do despise the CW style faces though, so I need to see about finding replacement heads for the figures in the frigate. Both sets have already been modified to suit my tastes, after a day of being built 'vanilla'.
  2. Bricklink, lots by the KG on ebay (try not to get ripped off), etc. Basically the answer is second-hand bricks.
  3. Store display item would be my guess? Edit - Also, is the Review index vastly out of date, or have people simply stopped doing pictorial reviews because youtube?
  4. Yes actually! Well, sort of. Does it count if the only player is me? I've got a 32x32 baseplate set up in, a tiny scale, some basic terrain, and a few units in the same scale. And I basically have a very slow game of Star Wars: Empire At War being played out on this baseplate. Right now I'm planning a new map, I've done one in a desert so far, thinking of a city based one now. Of course, I try to only use the units I also have built up as sets/system scale. Empire is a bit OP.
  5. 75000 Clone Troopers vs Droidekas 75080 AAT 8097 Slave I (Not SW, but for all my SW figs!) 10699 32x32 Sand Baseplate I am quite in love with the Slave I, saw it on clearance in a local toyshop and I couldn't resist.
  6. That version of the gunship is not meant to have the pod guns, instead it has forward doors for space flight.
  7. Most recent Republic Gunship, yey or ney?
  8. I mooshed two of them together and added 5 or so parts to get a decent build. Nothing amazing, but roughly there. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=111408&hl=
  9. I approve. Are those the EB Stormies in the background?
  10. I'm in love with the red visor port. Going to have to add that to my own mods. The underbelly seems a lot more complete too, with that trap-door out of the way.
  11. Damn that is a sweet price! I am quite pleased with it, only thing I didn't like is how the whole side opens instead of just the lower half of the body. If you can, pick it up somehow!
  12. 3x AT-DP Minis. Going to keep one as a Mini, and convert two of them into Minifig-Scale Imperial AT-RTs. They're just about the right size, and can be rebuilt with very little modification. In LDD I got pretty close without even using extra parts.
  13. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Advanced_v1 Canoically, the solar panels (ie: the black bricks) are only on the inside on the 'actual' thing, with the outside being armor plated to give it more survivability. Still, doesn't look bad in a different colorscheme.
  14. Love the SNOT usage, and seems to be built fairly sturdy with those technic beams. Could you post some pictures of the hatches/cockpit open? Look forward to seeing an X-Wing design from you. Edit- Oh! And welcome to Eurobricks!
  15. Is it worth it? Considering getting one to add to my Imperial Forces. It'll be that or two AT-DPs.
  16. Heh, love it. Reminds me of some biome from LEGO Worlds.
  17. Last week I bought two 75078 Imperial Troop Transports, because one can never have too many stormtroopers. I wasn't too pleased with the vehicle build and decided to rebuild the two of them into one transport, more faithful to the series/comics/etc. I managed to get close enough using only, 5 or so extra parts, 4 of which are 2x8 slopes, and one of which is a 6x16 plate that it's all built on. There are a few unused parts left over. To be more accurate it's missing the front guns and rear turret, however I will probably revise it to add them. The interior can hold about 5 figures in awkward seating positions, and there's no interior details at the moment. The lower half of the doors are 1x2 bricks which need to be taken out for the 'door' to be fully open. Probably will change that for a full door built out of plates on a hinge.
  18. Sure! I'll try to whip up an LDD model too, as I'm still terrible at taking pictures.
  19. Two Imperial Troop Transports, which were promptly mashed together with about 6 extra parts to form a decent sized one, more like the original/comic/Rebels TV version, and I've got a 75054 AT-AT in the mail on the way here. Looks like I'm back.
  20. I bow before thee. Many thanks!
  21. Took 4 years for someone to pick up on that... It was once meant to read "Presents" but then a letter fell off, and we lack the budget to stick it back on. Stauder
  22. I agree, plastic cement, same stuff used on those little model planes. *shudder* Stuader
  23. Sorry I'm late to the party; Hope you had a good one TT. Staudie
  24. The Hobbes interview is still by far my favourite that never made it on air. Also where are the two interns what are meant to pretend EB News isn't dead yet and produce new stuff while I do heretical things? Stauder
  25. Aha! Finally someone else. Stauder
