  1. Begun, the toast wars have. Tis a sad day when the apprentice (Fangy), betrays his master(Count Duke Toastula over there). Stauder.
  2. It used to be, as you can tell not all sets where based on stealing the loot. Pirates II sets however all seem to be based on stealing the loot. A Shipyard, tavern or dockside would be nice sets to balance it out. Stauder.
  3. I used to, but now I just build something and set up a scene on my shelf. Closest thing I do to playing is a photoshoot for EB News, which involves doing random stuff that looks funny. Doing just that right now as a matter of fact. Stauder.
  4. Off Topic: Infact that is what I used. They are called Nail Files, for the record. Stauder.
  5. There's a topic to post things like this. Too bad to see you go. May the toast be with you. Stauder.
  6. Your measuring in miliAnnoyances, I measure in teraAnnoyances. I belive I went trough about 3-4 titles on my birthday... Stauder.
  7. Hi, that looks strange, as I see in the topic that the helmet is rather new, came in 2008 ? Can you read the mould and cavity no. at the "tube" inside the helmet ? It should say 4-1 or something similar. It must be from two different moulds for sure. Remember though that there are a lot of cavities in a mould for small pieces like this. So you may find parts from mould number one saying: 1-1, 2-1, 3-1 etc. It is very possible that the one without the bulge was made early, and that the mould have been added the bulge afterwards. Remember that something sticking out on a part, means that you have to remove metal in the mould, so that you can just mill it away on a mould. Much more difficult to make a hole in a part, as that means you have to add material to the mould. Front It appears that it was indeed some prototype/test variant. Anyone with a huge EP3 Clone army care to check his clones? Stauder.
  8. The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy, By Douglas Adams. 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Around the World in 80 Days, Journey to the Center of the Earth, By Jules Verne. Hobbit, By Tolkien. Stauder.
  9. It is a work of art, truly. The most amazing scene was the "Pong" scene. Even if the mosaics where CGI (I suspect they were), it is still awsome. Stauder.
  10. If there's one sentence to describe it, it's -"0.5% of the people survive." It's Tarantino, it's funny in its own special way, and I liked it. Stauder.
  11. Found it. Stauder.
  12. Mmm, I am certain it's not a misprint (but iv'e posted it in the misprint topic none the less), as I have two of them and they are identical, exept the batch number varies. I would bet my money on them being designed that way, what their original purpose (prototypes? Print tests?) and how they got in my AT-AP tough, is a mystery. Stauder.
  13. Yeah, somone made a whole sieries and dressed em up to look like official sets. Had the link to the gallery somwhere... Stauder.
  14. There you go. Stauder.
  15. The second one was a MOC, then made to look like a real set. Lego has no intention of going violent, why would they make a Concetration Camp set? Stauder.
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks Three-Eighty-Two, as I will now call you Have fun in the SW forums, but be sure to check out the other (community! :D) Forums for a few laughs! Stauder.

    Misprints

No one seems to have a EP3 Clone helmets like mine, so Ill add them here. It's not a misprint tough. 2nd From the right, the bulge is missing. But it seems to be designed that way as I found 2 in my AT-AP. Started a topic bout it, but to no avail. Any guesses as to what it is? My money is on prototype that slipped into production. Stauder.
  18. If it was a mis-mold why would there be two identical parts, and why would it look designed that way? Stauder.
  19. Yeah, well that leaves that out. ImperialShadows went trough pictures of all sorts of clones, with various prints, all had the bulge. Also with the © inside instead of LEGO, it makes me suspect it was some early prototype, is there anyone here on EB that can confirm this or shed light on the subject? Stauder
  20. Call the police! That man eats dogs! *tap dances off screen* *tapity* *tapity* *tapity* *tap* Stauder.
  21. I'd like to point out that Lego supports the customizing community, or something like that... I forgot the exact quote.. But it would be interesting to see none the less! Stauder.
  22. Failing to remember when it was released, I'm going to say that I bought it last year, July-August. Don't remember exactly, and yes it is quite odd that both are missing the bulge. A curiosity I noticed, after further analysis is that inside (where the stud from the head slots in) the "Normal" Helmets, is written LEGO and under it the batch number, while the "Bulgless" only have © and under the batch number. They where both sealed inside the plastic bags when I bought the set, and the set was unopened. Stauder.
  23. Old Skeletons, with the old arms. Reason : They are much better at looking dead, which on a deserted island, a skeleton should be. Also much more posable, for a humiliating pose after death. Stauder.
  24. That's one of those which as Shadows said, "given for Participation" Or "general annoyance", interpret it how you wish Stauder.
  25. Save half a gram of plastic by making a brand new mold, which would cost thousands? I've asked Shadows, and he checked some of his Troops, all have the bulge. I can't be the only one without! I mean if there was a mold, somone else is bound to have em! Off Topic - Carve it off with a sharp knife, then sand it down, with smoother and smoother sandpaper, till it's all smooth. EDIT - A buffing block helps. Stauder.
