  1. Nice review, ..... love the crane. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
  2. It's this part .... Liftarm 1 x 3 with 2 Axle Holes and Pin
  3. Here is a great truck from madoca1977. I enjoy it very much ......
  4. For me, building Crowkillers Vampire was the same (or even better) then building OOB 8070. Actually 8070 is someone MOC, fortunately, he is working for TLG and it become official set. So according to aqaz, I shouldn't build other peoples MOC's, because it is not fulfilling or satisfactory. I should stop buying Lego sets, and just buy bricks of BL, and build MOC's. Unfortunately, it doesn't go that way.
  5. Try tyres from 8070 Supercar.
  6. You get 10 IKEA's for 2 Duracell cost. 10 Ikea = 2 eur, and 4 duracell = 4 eur.
  7. Now you told us all, it's Dikkie Klijn's Tow truck. And on the Land Rover, you don't have 3x3 clear-trans dish for headlight, so you put smaller.
  8. Brickshelf user changxinwu, has made replica of 2H set 42008 Tow truck. I think its quite good, only the pictures are a bit blurry.
  9. I agree with Zblj, second one is much better.
  10. Here, http://technic.lego.com/en-gb/BuildingInstructions/default.aspx. Enjoy!!!
  11. Hello. I have just finished building Koenigsegg CCX, and it's beautiful. I've had great building experience, and the door mechanism work's superb. I love the rear suspension with three springs. The instructions are very well done and easy to follow, so it's easy to build the car. IMHO the hardest thing was, to assemble the gearbox into the chassis. I love it !!! And here are some pictures: And for the end, one with the Crowkillers Vampire GT Black Line Edition: Thank's Jurgen, for such a great building instructions !!!
  12. Yes, the 42009 Mobile crane really sucks, ..... it even doesn't have spinning wheel, so the hamster could run, and supply the power tho the boom ....... Meh, .....
  13. Great job effe. I like it. It's so aerodynamic. What happened with second row of threads?
  14. Excellent review Blakbird! Although you are abroad, you took time, and put some effort into making this review. Well done. Now you convince me to buy this set. offtopic: now, you will be the guy, who carryed F1 car in a suitcase, when going through airport check ..... , similar to this guy ....
  15. I always buy sets, to increase my parts collection. Usually I wait for some sale that is 30% off or more, at local stores, or I just buy second hand sets for half of the original price. Recently I bought used 8070, 8071, 8109 and 9397, for 160 €. For me, any Technic set, newer (studless) or older (studded) is interesting for parts collection, as long as the price is favorable.
  16. Well said !!! Finally someone who understand, that it's not about us, but it's all about them.
  17. I also like new Mobile Crane. It's enormous. But now that we see, what a good set it's going to be, it makes me wonder what the B-model will be. Anyone dare to speculate?
  18. For me, Santa delivered Technic Helicopter 9396 and Crowkiller's Red Vampire. (actually another 8070 and some BL orders that was used for Vampire ) Look's like I was good this year.......
  19. Well said Erik Leppen. I agree with you on every word. I also wanted to mention 8258 Crane Truck, which had only one motor, and what an ''epic'' set it was. Just imagine, 42009 Mobile Crane with 5 functions (outriggers, boom rotation, boom up&down, extending boom, hook) powered by just one motor, and on top of that, on Unimog tires .........
  20. Excellence performance in the snow. ..... Great job Sariel ....... PS: Looks like the hamster was cold, and didn't wont to go out on a snow......
