IMHO, the exhaust pipe is attached on a strange place - just above the wheel. .... and yes, the wheels do look a bit undersized .... other than that, the truck is amazing !!!

Em.... no they don't! Just take both 4L axle out of the assembly and push it through those triangle liftarms.

Outstanding!!! I love it! Love the idea with the universal joints. This will come useful when you want to transfer power to attachment on a tractor, which has three point attach system.

Hello GuiliuG. Great build BTW. I actually did read the first topic, but there is nothing written about this new pumps, and why you need three of them. Maybe is something mentioned in the video, but currently my soundcard is broken, so I can't hear the sound.

... or Astra, or Focus, or 308, doesn't mater which model, the point is, that the concept of the gearbox is actually the same. They all have gears and shafts, mounted into the casings. Yes, the gears inside are smaller, the friction is reduced, ratio's are optimized, but the result is the same. They all shift gears. So how would you 8480 design, significantly improve in 8070? No offence, just my 2c. Regards

O really, and VW Golf Mk6 from 2012, has so much different gearbox than the VW Golf Mk1 from 1974 ....... actually, Golf 6 has 5th gear, and the concept is the same. So much for the improvement.

Hello. Thanks to DLuders effort to obtain (Thank you David) the building instructions for the B-model, I've decided to build the B-model first, and then the A-model Logging Truck, because it will remain assembled. The building is pretty long, instruction have 308 pages, but then again, a lot of building steps are the ones, where you just put a pin or two. As Anio mentioned, the features are very innovative for an official set (rear axle, the blade, cabin, dumper). I like this model a lot. I just might bought another set, just because of the B-model. Here is short video, just to present functions of the truck. IR receiver is installed, for easier presentation. Enjoy, It is a great truck.

I made an LCD projector stand, out of Lego Technic, so I could adjust the angle of projection.
