  1. The Sapphire is actually master of Wind, not Air, so I'd say you wouldn't be able to create a vacuum, since wind on earth is movement of air. You also wouldn't be able to suffocate anyone, since you'd be moving the same air that everyone breathes. If it were master of Air, then I would let you create a vacuum or separate the oxygen from the air and suffocate everyone, but not with a gem that controls Wind. Of course, you could always make the wind blow really hard on the base of the fire, but that probably wouldn't save much more Ether than dousing the forest in water. Plus, once the fire gets big enough, the wind will just fan the flames and push them in the direction of the wind, and you could have a full-blown forest fire on your hands. Safer just to use the water. Or not put the Fire Bombs in the forest. Again, I don't want this to be thinking outside the box purely in the use of magic. Big thumbs-up to Flipz, who's trying to build defenses out of existing materials instead.
  2. You peer through the telescope at the surrounding area, but you don't spot any elves...yet.
  3. All we knew was that there was supposed to be an update today. We don't know when it's coming or if it's been delayed.
  4. I'm actually busy today; I'll probably be on around 4pm EST for a little while and then around 10pm EST if the lag isn't too bad.Fixed, thanks.
  5. You try to change the color of your hair, but, unfortunately, it would appear that the Lion Knights are fresh out of Henna Rinse.QM Note:
  6. QM Note: Like I said before, we're not in a battle. I let you get away with a reasonable amount of stuff during the time between battles. You're no longer confined to the movement rules. Go improve the fort. (unless you don't want to, in which case I'll play the next battle - but I don't recommend that) Party: Althior Emorith, Level 14.5 Mage (K-nut) *Party Leader* Power: 19 Health: 18/18 Ether: 15/18 Gold: 5 Inventory: Dragoro (WP:5), Topaz (Lightning), Amethyst (Darkness), Ruby (Fire), Sapphire (Wind), Garnet (Earth), Opal (Ice), Aquamarine (Water), Emerald (Wood), Diamond (Light), Potion x2, Tonic, Shovel, Bedroll, Smelling Salts, Mead, Nostrum, Remedy, Healing Staff Xander Unth'or, Level 10 Barbarian (posades) *Party Second-in-Command* Power: 18 Health: 17/17 Gold: 30 Inventory: Pongcanis Club (WP: 8), Enigmatic Hammer (WP: 3), Robe of the Pongcanis Champion (WP: +1Front Row; SP: +1Back Row), Mead, Potion, Grand Potion, Phoenix Essence Alexandre le Chevalier, Level 2 Knight (Capt.JohnPaul) Power: 3 Health: 11/11 Gold: 0 Inventory: Standard-Issue Crossbow (WP: 1), Sword (WP: 3), Buckler Shield (SP: 2), Bedroll, Potion Arasmyth RuGard, Level 8 Mage (Kadabra) Power: 12 Health: 12/12 Ether: 10/12 Gold: 3 Inventory: Sapphire Staff (WP: 4; Wind), Robe of Magi (SP: 1), Scroll of Sealing, Sapphire (Wind), Topaz (Lightning), Potion, Smoke Bomb, Smelling Salts, Water Bomb, Grand Tonic Spag Bitterstalk, Level 2 Barbarian (Kenghis Ghan) Power: 5 Health: 9/9 Gold: 0 Inventory: Crude Splinterwood Club (WP: 3), Standard-Issue Halberd (WP: 1;Total Damage doubled against mounted enemies and enemies scaling walls, Potion, Mead William Harkenshire, Level 6 Ranger (volcanicpanik) Power: 10 Health: 11/11 Gold: 0 Inventory: Mockthril Longbow (WP: 4; Fire), Potion (2),Remedy, Smoke Bomb, Bedroll, Mead, Smelling Salts, Pickaxe Isabella del Toboso, Level 2 Rogue (Dharkan) Power: 5 Health: 8/8 Gold: 5 Inventory: Golden Dagger (WP: 3), Standard-Issue Sword (WP: 1), Venom, Potion, Bedroll Arthur Justus Regulus VII, Level 2 Mage (Flipz) Power: 5 Health: 6/6 Ether: 6/6 Gold: 0 Inventory: Serpentine Staff (WP: 3), Opal (Ice), Potion, Bedroll, Telescope Crude Counterweight Catapult Operated by Arthur and Isabella Level: 2 Health: 10/10 Ammunition: Stones (unlimited)
  7. I attack Volt Ant C from the Back Row.
  8. I like the new avatar! :-D

By the way, 'the master' is back in full...

  9. I can confirm that. Active Content wouldn't load for about five minutes. Nothing serious.
  10. Getting that thing through airport security is a pain in the MegaBloks, by the way.
  11. *blush* Already bought Staff of Horror and Essence Tap Skull for 3 Speed, and I have another Para HP Ring and Robe of the Master remaining from the last life's loot. All that's left is to get to Level 20. :-)

  12. Anything you don't need that could be of value is a good freebie. You do know that some players will pay 1 Speed for that, right?
  13. No, I meant finding members who are already part of EB and have expressed interest in this thread, and inviting them. (which has to be done in-game while the other person's online)
  14. I attack Volt Ant A from the Back Row.
  15. Skipper. I have a list of players in the first post.Speaking of the list, I think it's time we talked about ranks. Guilds allow for four ranks: Initiate (Green Shield), Member (Silver Dagger), Officer (Silver Crown), and Leader (Gold Crown). I was going to use: Leader - for now, just me. I don't plan to boot anyone or anything like that. As we get bigger, those tasked with seeking out new members to add to the guild (locating them with StatBot, arranging a time to meet, and inviting). Officer - players that are consistent quality players (helping train lower level players, donating large amounts of good items, healing other players when they ask for it, etc.); as a thank-you for all the hard work they already put in on EB, Fellows and Staff who join the guild are automatically promoted to Officer Member - consistently active guild members Initiate - inactive guild members and newbies Any thoughts?
  16. I attack Volt Ant C from the Back Row. OOC: Out of curiosity, do these count as lower enemies?
  17. Results of Round Five of the Battle for Bric'Bay Fort: William Harkenshire does nothing. Xander Unth'or moves to West Wall. >Arthur Justus Regulus VII and Isabella del Toboso (Catapult) vs. Mounted Brobric Scout - Shield (Hit) >Arasmyth RuGard vs. Brobric Scout A - Miss >Althior Emorith vs. Mounted Brobric Scout - Hit Spag Bitterstalk vs. Mounted Brobric Scout Brobric Scout A - Critical Hit Alexandre le Chevalier moves to the North-West Tower. The fifth Round begins as Xander, you move towards the action while, William, you hold your position. Arthur and Isabella, you load the catapult one more time and fire off a Hit. Your large stone comes down and deals a crushing (no pun intended) blow to the Mounted Scout, which receives 5 Damage. Arasmyth, you miss your target, but Althior, you stand firm and score a Hit on the Mounted Scout, bringing him down at 38 Darkness Elemental Damage. Spag, seeing your original target vanish is a blast of dark magic, you charge up the stairs instead and spear Scout A for 6 Damage, ending the battle as, Alexandre, you charge in just in time to see the last elf topple. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! All party members gain a Level of XP, except for Althior, who gains half a Level, so update your signatures accordingly. The enemies drop 1 Telescope and 1 Horse. Party: Althior Emorith, Level 14.5 Mage (K-nut) *Party Leader* Power: 19 Health: 18/18 Ether: 15/18 Gold: 5 Inventory: Dragoro (WP:5), Topaz (Lightning), Amethyst (Darkness), Ruby (Fire), Sapphire (Wind), Garnet (Earth), Opal (Ice), Aquamarine (Water), Emerald (Wood), Diamond (Light), Potion x2, Tonic, Shovel, Bedroll, Smelling Salts, Mead, Nostrum, Remedy, Healing Staff Xander Unth'or, Level 10 Barbarian (posades) *Party Second-in-Command* Power: 18 Health: 17/17 Gold: 30 Inventory: Pongcanis Club (WP: 8), Enigmatic Hammer (WP: 3), Robe of the Pongcanis Champion (WP: +1Front Row; SP: +1Back Row), Mead, Potion, Grand Potion, Phoenix Essence Alexandre le Chevalier, Level 2 Knight (Capt.JohnPaul) Power: 3 Health: 11/11 Gold: 0 Inventory: Standard-Issue Crossbow (WP: 1), Sword (WP: 3), Buckler Shield (SP: 2), Bedroll, Potion Arasmyth RuGard, Level 8 Mage (Kadabra) Power: 12 Health: 12/12 Ether: 10/12 Gold: 3 Inventory: Sapphire Staff (WP: 4; Wind), Robe of Magi (SP: 1), Scroll of Sealing, Sapphire (Wind), Topaz (Lightning), Potion, Smoke Bomb, Smelling Salts, Water Bomb, Grand Tonic Spag Bitterstalk, Level 2 Barbarian (Kenghis Ghan) Power: 5 Health: 7/9 Gold: 0 Inventory: Crude Splinterwood Club (WP: 3), Standard-Issue Halberd (WP: 1;Total Damage doubled against mounted enemies and enemies scaling walls, Potion, Mead William Harkenshire, Level 6 Ranger (volcanicpanik) Power: 10 Health: 11/11 Gold: 0 Inventory: Mockthril Longbow (WP: 4; Fire), Potion (2),Remedy, Smoke Bomb, Bedroll, Mead, Smelling Salts, Pickaxe Isabella del Toboso, Level 2 Rogue (Dharkan) Power: 5 Health: 8/8 Gold: 5 Inventory: Golden Dagger (WP: 3), Standard-Issue Sword (WP: 1), Venom, Potion, Bedroll Arthur Justus Regulus VII, Level 2 Mage (Flipz) Power: 5 Health: 5/6 Ether: 6/6 Gold: 0 Inventory: Serpentine Staff (WP: 3), Opal (Ice), Potion, Bedroll Crude Counterweight Catapult Operated by Arthur and Isabella Level: 2 Health: 10/10 Ammunition: Stones (unlimited) Party Leader, how will the spoils of the battle be divided? Telescope – Allows the hero to see far Horse - Doubles Damage against enemies that don't wield spears. Grants assorted bonuses to movement, depending on the QM. "Good work, sirs. How will you prepare for the next battle?"
  18. Sure. What happened to you in the den, by the way? You were right behind me until I jumped into the web to kill Arachna.
  19. Added to the first post. Make sure you let me know if you give them away. 7pm EST? I'll meet you.
  20. If Lucas doesn't write it and people like him don't write it, that opens up the spot for someone who has actual respect for the EU storyline.
  21. Listed a couple new goodies in the freebie section. Rogues can now acquire a full T7/T3 set with the addition of a Cloak of the Night Thief. Also added a T6 Avenger Staff. In other news, congratulations are in order for Hornblower (Skipper), who soloed Stheno the Snake Queen after lag forced me out of the Snake Pit and the other players (n00bs) all died.
  22. QM Note:I let you get away with a reasonable amount of stuff. More freedom to think outside the box that way. It's a good color.
  23. That is one confusing claimed night action. What the MegaBloks does being a snake charmer have to do with converting Independents into Townies? I realize that normally there's no connection between elements of the story and mechanics of the game, but converting SKs by being a snake charmer doesn't seem likely to me. Both the action report and the action claim seem suspicious to me. I Unvote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) and Vote: Melaena Stools (CallMePieOrDie).
  24. It appears to me that that is the case if not all the kills are fed to the statue.
