Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note:Sorry, no ladders or stairs in the walls. That's three turns. (Ground Floor of North-West Tower, Second Floor of North-West Tower, top of West Wall) Do you want to move or stay put? I'm going to play the Round in a couple hours. -

But that would make it possible for the Scum to lose if the SK killed enough Virgins. I think we've been over this already. Don't get me wrong, it would be great if that were the case, but it doesn't make sense to me. It would be too easy for the Town to win. (probably with the SK) Also, what would happen if all the Virgins died but the Scum didn't kill enough of them, and then the Scum killed everyone else? (Townies and Independents alike) Then no one's win condition would be fulfilled. (the Town [and Virgins] would have failed to eliminate the Cultists, the Cultists would have failed to kill enough Virgins, and the Independent [i'm guessing at their win condition(s), but the assumption I make is a logical one] would have failed to survive) -
Have you tried playing through Kongregate?

Okay. I'll be on in about twenty minutes to half an hour.

It might be your internet connection speed. I'd try Safari and IE and all the normal fixes (clear cookies, etc.) before giving up.Is this the Security Error, #2048? That's a common problem. I hear turning off your firewall might fix it. (if you're willing to do that)

It's not incriminating evidence, (and it wasn't in Gotham Mafia - great book, by the way) I'm just mentioning it because no one else has and it's worth considering. -
The number of results is capped at five hundred, so if you've made more than two thousand posts, it doesn't work. (though looking now, Legocrazy81 has only mad fourteen hundred posts, so it would have worked for him)

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day Two

Jennifer claimed virgin somewhere around four pages hours back, remember? Wow, you talk a lot. Right now, the Virgin claim doesn't change anything as far as my opinion of Jennifer is concerned; it just makes the stakes a little higher. On the other hand, my suspiciousness of Mellifluous has certainly increased. Like a couple other players others have mentioned, she seems to be trying very hard to get information concerning roles revealed in public. For such information to be public would be even worse than if it was blabbed to Mehmet like so much else allegedly was. Oh, yes, and since I'm now apparently allowed to reference books, in a book called Gotham Mafia, the ones who didn't respond calmly to insults and complained about discourteous accusations were the Scum who were panicking. -

Very well. I apologize for not crediting your assessment of Jennifer's behavior.Don't take this as an excuse, but just so you know, I did read it. Mehmet's statement was just the one I was thinking about when I made my statement after reviewing what had happened while I was asleep. Like I said, I did the reading; Mehmet did the comprehension for me. -
Okay, but I can't get on right now to give it too you. Are you on at any other times?

But, like I said, in many ways, the Double Bow is better. More versatile, certainly easier to use, and it does deal more Damage if you are willing to get in really close so that both shots him the same target. (though then you risk getting shotgunned in the face, and Archers/Huntresses can't take that nearly as well as classes like the Knight which are designed to get up close)Freebie Robe upgraded to the T6 Robe of the Invoker, which is as high as you're going to get in the realm of free robes, since the T8 Robe of the Master is rare enough to make the T7 Robe of the Illusionist worth as much as other T8 armors.

Was the tracker told that you (as in, your name was mentioned) targeted Patrick, or that he thinks he targeted you and his target targeted def? Because, since I'm now apparently allowed to reference books, in a book called Gotham Mafia, a character a lot like myself tried to frame another, and I was told that I 'thought' I targeted that person, but, in reality, I'd been targeted by someone who could randomize someone else's target. -

I did the reading for myself. You did the comprehension for me. Who do you think I am? Melaena? -
In my time on MOCPages, it happened a lot. Too many kids overloading their servers.

We could always lynch you. Though that would just tell us whether or not you were probably telling the truth, not whether or not all those others are. -
Couple updates to the freebie list. I added two more Tier 2 rings, I added a robe, which is only T4, but it's better than what you'll find fighting the beginner enemies. It's only T2, but since Necromancers seem really popular now, I added a Heartstealer Skull. (plus, the T3 skull, Soul Siphon, is just as hard to find as some T4 ability items, and you don't see many people giving them away, since a skillful Necro can use a lower Tier skull with strategic placement of the ability to save MP) Finally, I added a Reinforced Shield, so there's now a full T7/T3 Knight set up there. Also, I'm starting to run out of room on the freebie mule, and I want to drop one of the bows. Which are you guys more likely to want if you ever play Archer or Huntress? Statistically speaking, the Heavy Crossbow has greater range, does more Damage, and is one Tier higher, but personally, I prefer the Double Bow because it shoots two arrows, which makes taking on large masses and hitting gods accurately a lot easier.

I believe that that requirement is no longer being strictly enforced. Ever since the upgrade to IPB 3 (?) around a year and a half ago, it hasn't been possible to see the percentage of posts you've made in the forum you post the most in.

Well, it is possible that all this (the events surrounding Mehmet) is just a bunch of Cultist trickery, and Mehmet's made some good points. After all the vote switching of Yesterday followed by the confidence with which he's gone after Jennifer Today, perhaps the best way to get a good idea of his intentions is to trust him for Today and see where it goes. (which is not to say I'm about to lynch someone just for having the wrong suspicions, but it'd be another thing to consider if Jennifer turns up Town, making her lynch helpful no matter where her allegiances lie) I Vote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy). -
I have all the guild members locked, so if I'm in the same area, I can find them. I also make use of StatBot. I'm in USWest, so I type... /tell WestBot lastseen CallMePie Hornblower Hasenklein Harkshire Emorith MaskedBud ...and I WestBot returns a series of /tells (private messages) that list where the players are. For example, Sorry, I haven't seen CallMePie recently. I last saw Hornblower on the USWest server 14 minutes ago. Hasenklein is in the Nexus on EUEast. (those are returns I just made up, but they're very similar to what I often see. Sounds good. I should be on around 3pm, EST. Anyone else up for some EB team questing?

I see. I did read it, but as of right now, I can't make heads or tails out of it. So if we lynch you, we learn something about Patrick and 'Goofy'. I don't think we can say the same about Jennifer, can we? The only thing I can see us gaining from her lynch if she turns up Town (other than the voting patterns, of course) is that there might be a hint of her trying too hard to get rid of you. (Mehmet) Or maybe I'm just over thinking this and playing it safe.
