  1. "Great!" Ivan yells out. "Lysa! Bring me more vodka and mead! Let's see who vomits first from the vomead!" Oh, Simon," Lysa muters, "what are you getting yourself into?" She ducks behind the counter and brings the bottles and six glasses and a large jug of water over to the table everyone now sits at. Like a careful scientist, Ivan pours the vodka and mead together into the bottles, stirring them carefully with a finger. He stops, sniffs his finger before stirring a few seconds more. Finally, it is done. "Now the vomead is ready. Now everyone close your eyes." Once everyone has done so, including him, he says, "Lysa, pour water into five of the glasses and the vomead into one. Nobody is looking right? Good. Now open!" Once everyone opens their eyes, Ivan explains the rules. "There are six glasses, five of them are filled with water. The goal is to drink these and at least one of you must still be standing at the end for me to say Simon here beat me." Rules: This is run similar to a battle. Everyone choose a glass labeled 1-6. The party leader will confirm this by making a "Battle order". Ivan always takes the last glass. A random dice roll decide which shot glass has the vomead. Five glasses (water) cause no damage. The one that has the vomead causes 1/6 damage to of health, but only non-artefact health. If a character health hits 0 before Ivan's, they are considered knocked out and will not gain experience. Health potions are not allowed. However, somas and nostrums are allowed to be taken in leiu of the random chance of drinking vomead. But, drinking a nostrum or soma causes the user to automatically drink the vomead for that round. If Simon is knocked out before Ivan, the "battle" will still continue. It only ends when either all of the party and Simon is on the floor or Ivan is. If there are any questions or clarification needed, please ask. PREPARE FOR... BATTLE? Party Leader, please confirm the order.
  2. Kiray chugs a remedy from the back. Same order.
  3. "Hmm, I could agree to that." Ivan lets out a deep belly laugh. "But all of you have to partake. And I promise, if one of you beats me, Simon will be named a true man to hold his liquor. I'll swear that I was here, drank mead, and it flowed down my moustache but didn't get into my mouth." "Wine?!" Ivan repeats. "We will not be drinking wine. We will drink my own concotion: Vomead. It's a mixture of vodka and mead. And remember, Simon needs to complete thre tasks."
  4. Lysa opens her mouth but is cut off when... The shirtless, drunk man comes up to Hoke and places an arm around his shoulder. "I may have been rude to barge in, but I hear your boy has a *hiccup* problem. I don't know much about religion but I know a whole lot about drinking. You want your boy to handle his liquor, then beat me in a drinking game." He sticks his hand out, but quickly moves to his left to shake when he realizes his right hand still has the bottle. "Ivan is the name."
  5. "But that doesn't solve my strength problem..." he replies forlornly. "I think she's at her place. And I already asked her. But she may not have heard me. I said it during a loud thunderstorm." "He's a quiet, sweet boy. I think he's kind of adorable, in a way," Lysa the barmaid says, her eyes seeming to light up at the mention of Simon. "He's told me what he's told you, that Rebecca wants a strong, pious man who can apparently drink the weight of an ogre. I think he has better options than this Rebecca girl-" she stops her self short. "But I think if Simon wants Rebecca, he should take up tasks to prove his mettle."
  6. You need to meet most of the girls on my FaceBook then.
  7. Simon clumsily tries to reach the bottle but fails. "Well, Rebecca said she liked strong men, people who could handle their liquor and pious men." He starts to look away and his eyes light up as he talks about her. "She's so pretty. She's the daughter of a tailor, you know."
  8. "Go... go ahead," Simon replies as he wearily raises his head and shakes Hoke's extended hand. "If you *hiccup* were anyone else... aside from her... I'd tell you to sod off. Drink?" He waves over the barmaid. "Wine. More of it. Lots." "Hmm, alright, Simon," she replies. "Kidnap her?!?!" Simon exclaims. "Oh she'll really hate me then. I can't... I can't kidnap her. That would be bad." He looks at the Queen Mother. "Ok... so what do you suggest?"
  9. The sun has barely set as the chosen Heroes enter the Traveler's Tavern, or at least that's what they guessed from the handwriting on the questboard. The place, from the outside looked relatively clean... ... The inside was clean as well, although the patrons seemed to be less than noble. A very loud, very fat man was standing on a table drinking some alcoholic liquid. It certainly was... something... the smell though did not give away what it was, except that it was most foul. A few other men were having a pleasant conversation about their favorite knots used to drag animals with. The pretty, quiet barmaid was running around filling up everyone's drinks. And then, off in the corner by himself was the man who put out the notice Simon. He was sitting all alone with a bottle to himself. 21. Just scrolled through the building contest. There are certainly some beautiful MOCs there. I agree, seeing more large scale MOCs would be awesome rather than just a single wall. (I'm guilty of it too).
  22. I'm here if you need me
  23. Wait, there was?
  24. So I recently rediscovered my love for making brickfilms and it made me wonder if anyone had incorporated brickfilms into the quests. I know someone tried to do it in a mafia game a looong time ago. I certainly don't have time to do it for my next quest, but what are people's thoughts? Too much effort for too little reward? Too much of time consumption? An interesting way to have a quest?
  25. Kiray wobbles around. Repeat order.
