Napoleonic War Gaming Attribute Idea's
Fordo replied to Fordo's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ok, For attacking fortifications: The building must be atleast 10 studs high to be considered a fort. To be considered a siege the attackers must have atleast 4 cannons present. When charging the fort with over 40-60 units then raise the units morale's by +1. Depending on the thickness of the Forts wall's destroy segments that are fired upon and hit by 3 cannon ball's. If the wall if thicker than 6 studs 6 cannon shots are needed to destroy that segment of the wall. The defenders of the fort can hold their positions as long as they have 2 or more morale if not they retreat 10 studs away from the battle if they have 1 morale, if they have 0 they are removed from play due to fear. Any comments and additions to these rules would be great Thanks! -

MINI-FIGURE REVIEW: Pirate with Blue Striped Torso #3
Fordo replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Cool review, eventhough im not a big fan of the regular pirates mostly the Imperial's, but I have a few of those lying around. -
This ship is great nice size and design. I also like all the custom figures.

Is that dynamite near the treasure chest or bircks & mortar or what? It would be this piece, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2454px5

Actually, I'd like to make a request myself. I would appreciate it greatly if anyone could find me a waist cape template for clone troopers. I think this would be the Kama your talking about. http://www.minifigcustomizationnetwork.com...atecentral/2578

He already have a Nelson but no midshipman, lieutenant, captain, ... Yea that'd be good for any Napoleonic crew.

French Red Lancer and Austrian Uhlan
Fordo replied to woody64's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That's a cool army with decals nice job, will you make scene's with the Austrian's too? -
that was also the first i thought of. the good thing about this one is that he handles small details pretty well. if this guy can produce a cross on a helmet, then surely he must be able to add other decorations to the helmet as well. That would solve the trouble with Lego, if there ever would be any... Sounds good to me I'd definatly buy from Brick Forge.

Maybe someone would like to post on Bricklink looking to see how many potential buyer's are there that aren't registered to this fourm.

Actually, I do wonder if Lego has the shako mold as Fordo says they don't. It wouldn't be that old of a mold. Right? Well after a few years molds new 'renewing' and since the pirate theme died out they didn't renew it. After a while each mold is destroyed because they need space for all the others. They do however still have the components to make the mold on a hard drive or a data base so they could easily make one if they wanted to.
-
Actually Recluce has created molds of lego pieces http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=RecluceMage , But she said she won't be producing anything because of a new job and no time. Maybe since you have the supplies and experiance you'd be willing to make some Mr. ImperialScouts? I don't think we'd have much problems since people do make molds of certain pieces and sell them plus Lego doesn't have the Shako mold anymore.
-
Yea I won't be able to make 300+ Shako's with that kind of Mold. It'd take far to long and a lot of money on the silicon. An Injection mold like Brickarm's and Lego would be the best way to go if we want bulk.

Cool, nice job on this batch. Eventhough I'm not doing the Colonial Wars I'll probably still print a few out.

I know a minor amount of Latin aswell.

French Red Lancer and Austrian Uhlan
Fordo replied to woody64's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Cool torso's, are you going to have an army of these? -
Nice, Marshal torso's I'll be sure to print them out soon and put them on some figs.
-
Sanding kinda takes awhile when your doing it for massive armies, so I personally wouldn't use the Top hat, decaling 80+ men takes a long time.
-
I will need 150-300 Shako's.
-
Wow, that's a really good Idea maybe I'll try and see if I have some of those pieces.
-
I would be willing to pay $1-2 per Shako as long as their in bulk.

I have just send her a PM and asked her to join and discuss this with us if not I'll relay the messages. The message I send her: Due to the short supply of the Pirate Shako's we (the pirate fans on EuroBricks) were looking for an easier way to acquire them and we were disccusing it when I brought up your name due to your excellent casting skills. I was wonder if you could cast a Shako for us, I'll provide a reference pic. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2545 Also we'd like if you came over to the pirate fourm and discussed it with us. Thanks for your time.

Woody said "custom shakos" So he would prabably alter the colour or scratch off the Lego logo. What about the Minifig Customization Network? Would someone there have such skills? Yes RecluceMage is a great caster but has only done Starwars and Castle stuff maybe you could PM her.
