  1. I updated the first post: This topic closes at the end of February. So the last day to sign up will be be Tuesday, 28th.
  2. Good to see both of you are joining us! You are very welcome. If you want to stay with JanetVanD I propose we switch rooms, because the family rooms are equipped with a double bed and a rectractable couch, the appartments dispose of a seperate (parents) sleeping room. I will work that into an update later. EDIT: If that is okay with Cwetqo, I suggest you and Janet take appartment 5 and Cwetqo takes family room 7 (reducing his costs by 33€ ) Hi Alex! Nice to a Russian guy around - you are also most welcome at our upcoming event! You'll be the first from Russia. We are a very friendly group, you'll see. For me being gay is no problem at all (I wouldn't even have mentioned it...) - my son is gay, too The costs depend on where you want to stay. I'd say share the room with either holiday flat 1 or 2 , reducing the price for you down to 89,60€ for all days including breakfast. I think this is a real nice price, isn't it? The final costs yet have to be determined. I'll keep the sign in topic open until the end of February and then have a talk to the Kirchenbauerhof about the final costs. It won't vary much, that's for sure. EDIT: If you haven't done so yet, you might want to check these topics out. Or look what's on trade for the event right now.
  3. I'd like to have two of the Rooster sets. After all I'm born under the sign of the Rooster. Should this be my year then? After a very smart trade I realized I already had one of those: ... but no real use for two of them. One 6973 Deep Freeze Defender in very good condition with instructions I'd like to sell. For 45€? These guys: are leftovers, too. 4€ each and they are yours. What I am desperately looking for are these minifigs: < need the torso (flesh)< need hips&legs (magenta)< need hips&legs (bright pink) And / or hands in - dark orange / bright light orange / flat silver / magenta / purple / flesh Hips and legs in - dark azure / lavender / birght pink / flat silver / magenta
  4. Here is a first summary on who is attending this year and the distribution on the available rooms: With today we are 25 eventees, coming from 10 countries and 3 continents. The biggest group will be - as usual when staying in Germany - the Germans (7), closely followed by the Irish (5). Somehow we lost the vikings, just 4 members actually are from whole Scandinavia. It looks like we are facing a minor problem with the accomodation: The rooms in some cases are bigger that the space needed. This will result in slightly higher costs for those who did not want to share the space. Note that we are paying for the rooms (including breakfast), not for the actual people. To clarify, I noted the costs behind the rooms for the whole event. These are not the final charges! Maybe we get a small discount, for now I calculated with the official costs. So my first suggestion on the room distribution for the ones staying the whole event is: Holiday flat 1 [416€]: Bonaparte, Copmike, LasseD, MstrOfPppts Holiday flat 2 [416€]: Holodoc, Skalldyr, Vaionaut, RC 2236 Appartment 5 [353€]: Cwetqo +2 Appartment 6 [353€]: The Fenz's Family room 5 [320€]: Cecilie & Ace Family room 6 [320€]: Aredhel + family Family room 7 [320€]: JanetvanD +1 Family room 8 [320€]: Calanon, Peppermint_M, bricktect Double room [280€]: elleana Please report if anything isn't okay.
  5. Oh. I wouldn't have thought they still used this piece in Star Wars sets.
  6. Welcome aboard, RC! Our accomodation is the Kirchenbauerhof in Bubesheim. You can either check the prices on their webpage or rely on my roughly summarized info: We'll pay around 80€ per night per room, breakfast included. Note the price is per room, so it will vary depending on how many people stay in this room. To give an example, I expect to pay 80-100 € for the complete event. This is absolutely fair and the location is really great. Did I write that we stayed there twice before? You will have to add fees though for example for Legoland, train to Munich and of course lunch & dinner. We understand if you want to sleep at home living so close by, but remember it's always nicer to have the eventees around the whole time. And trust me: It's really worth it!
  7. It's called the Batwing and came with the following sets: 7780, 7781, 7782, 7783, 7785, 7786, 7787, 7886 and 7888
  8. The plan is to go to Munich by train. We did so 4 years ago, it's fast, it's fun and not too expensive.
  9. Too much information if you ask me.
  10. It looks like this is going to be the thread of unwanted misunderstandings! The manager of Kirchenbauerhof reserved 34 'slots' for possible eventees. I haven't counted yet, but I am quite sure we are still far under that mark (which made me write: There is room for more.) I will make a list/overview of all of the reservations here in the upcoming days.
  11. Okay. Then I was right after all. *phew* I never knew a 'pure' LUG membership card existed. You've got to show me in April.
  12. The Kirchenbauerhof is filling! We have 34 reserved places, so there still is enough room for more eventees. Special thanks dear Cwetqo for claryfing the AFOL shopping rules. (I wasn't aware that the usual 5% VIP discount does not go on top at these dates. Too bad.) For all those like elleana who haven't been at Legoland Deutschland before and are looking for parts only: There is a big store called "Fabrik" (factory) in the Legoland. They are selling single bricks by the weight. You may soon find out that this still can tun out to be very costly though, but from time to time they have some really interesting parts you may not find elsewhere. For example, if I recall correctly, they had 2x4 bricks in transparent blue/yellow and red last time. Or lime trees. Or technic servo motors (88004) for a decent price.
  13. Welcome aboard, elleana! Even more when I see you are from Singapore! To be honest: I have no idea if this VIP+sticker is exclusive to Germany only, or just to certain European countries. I'm also not sure if it is allowed by TLC to post a photo of the stickers here... If you are completely antisocial then the event could turn out to be very exhausting. But - no fear: none of us will have a problem if you just want some square meters for yourself in the night. Indeed you will have to pay for a double-bed room - and there is only one. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is available at Kirchenbauerhof (status today): 2 "holiday flats", 1 with room for 5 and 1 with room for 4 people. 2 "appartments" with room for 4 people. 8 "family rooms", 4 people each. 2 "small family rooms", 3 people each. 1 double bed rooms for 2 people.
  14. Oh, my bad, I should have added that you not only have to be member of an RLUG, but also have to have the VIP card and a sticker on the backside of the card from your RLUG indicating you are member... All of you who shared their information, can you please add this bit to your part.
  15. Thank you so much for replying in this topic. This years it really was horrible to find a suitable date. I feel sorry for those who can't come due to this. For all the eventees who attended an event in recent years: welcome back and for the new eventees a warm welcome. For all: Please sign up in this new topic. Thank you.
  16. This is the Eurobricks event 2017 sign up topic. You may have noticed about the event here. Now please sign up here officially as I would like to book accomodations at Kirchenbauerhof, a nice and cosy place where we stayed 2007 and 2013. Please let us know the following: - Need reservation at Kirchenbauerhof: yes/no -> the alternative is that you take care of your own accomodation - Apartment sharing: yes/no -> typically 4-5 persons share one apartment, but there are a few 2 bed rooms as well. - Number of persons and length of stay? - Are you member of a registered LUG? Only those will be eligible to receive a discount of 15% on Saturday - Anything else we need to know? (help needed in flying/transport ...) The dates of the event are Wednesday 26th - Sunday 30th of April. Wednesday and Sunday are travel dates only, program will be held Thursday til Saturday. . You don't know what I am writing about at all? Check this topic for further information. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I'll start: I'm in for the complete event. It's just me, no relatives this time. I need accomodation at Kirchenbauerhof for all of the days and I love to share my room with other eventees. I am RLUG member and I will travel with Bonaparte and Aredhel, just like we used to do. Edit: Not Aredhel this time, as she will be travelling on her own. Update: This topic closes at the end of February. So the last day to sign up will be be Tuesday, 28th.
  17. You once again played it thrillingly, Copmike. But after all I won A. Whatever it is, it will be good! Thank you very much. Now it's still checking back every day for the prizes.
  18. Outstanding review (as always), WhiteFang! For a lot of minifigures I have to wait and see the movie first. I mean Catman??? What and why? The part I like most is the rubber ducky float! I expect to have this part in the City theme some time soon. Without the batman printing then. Wohoo! Didn't you know that READING is completely overrated these days?
  19. Because not everyone is looking for some nice prices that are worth a lot? I for myself prefer Stay Puft over Tinker Bell, too. But I'm fine with everything that is for free, of course. And if I don't win, I still haven't lost anything. Then I just had fun and thrill checking back every single day. Thanks Copmike!
  20. I almost missed the raffle! Here's my last-minute snowman:
  21. Wow - all this excietement around here! I regard the screenshot legit, too. Someone must have made a cell phone image from a presentation held at TLC (or even the group wanted to have this photo make it into public!) So for me it says: WAIT FOR NOVEMBER!!! Everything else might be worth spending your time on, but nevertheless stupid. I don't think we will get any more information before that special date. I can't think of a modular house with a price tag of 350€. If this turns out to be true it has to be really mindblowing!
  22. The updated fotos clearly show the brilliance of this MOC! Very well done (now that even I realized what 'modular' is about).
