  1. I'm sorry... Someone actually bought a Veyron!? As in, someone could actually afford to buy a Veyron!?
  2. 1. Not if you bought it in the 25% off sale for around
  3. It's possible, what with the next film out next year. We can all hope...
  4. Bear in mind though, that plenty of female hairpieces can be used for men. Like the blonde hair currently in use on a minifig version of me. So 'female hair' isn't necessarily female. For example, me:
  5. So, series rundown: Episode 1: The Crash and the roadworks. Interesting thing actually. I was listening to local radio the other week, and the DJ referenced Top Gear when talking about endless traffic problems involving an endless set of roadworks. Anyway, The Crash was riveting, and the roadworks were pretty funny. And successful for once. Episode 2: Veyron and the coupes. Not quite as funny as the previous week, but the Veyron looks like a Batmobile, and I now really want to drive a golf buggy. Episode 3: America. Need I say more? Episode 4: The rocket. Cool idea, pity it didn't work. Episode 5: The tractors and Kristen Scott Thomas. Funny when they were teasing Clarkson about Kristen. Funny because its just the sort of thing that school kids do. The tractor choices were so typical of their personalities, and it was good to see cameos from previous challenge entries. Episode 6: The limos and Billie Piper. The limos were great. The Panda was so funny, and looked 'great' taped together. Lemar stormed off, the steering wheel broke, the presenters got wet, I could go on. And Billie Piper 8-
  6. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Great book. Very funny :-D I hope to read '1984' soon. At least, as soon as I find a better copy than my dads. The cover has all but fallen off, and a big chunk of the middle pages are loose. I'm sure I could manage... as long as I didn't touch it. ;-) I generally prefer non-fiction and graphic novels ('comics' ;-) ) though. Stuff like Batman, Fantastic Four, that sort of thing.
  7. Really? I don't think it's that bad. Other than a race track. But yeah I agree. Certainly impressive, and a marvelous feat of engineering... just a little pointless.
  8. But it's by no means safer. Oh well, if he falls off, he can just rebuild himself. ;-)
  9. The intercom system on Hammonds car having to be taped to his head was pretty funny and the soft-top roof was just a waste of time. The steering wheel on May's car kept coming off, which was so predictable after it happened once. And the Great Escape system in Clarksons car was ROFL. The cheek of him to win with the photo in his own newspaper. :-D As for the rest of the show, I much prefer the GT390 to the new GT500. And Billie Piper's see-through top 8-
  10. Oh, I was wondering what 'Magnalink' was. I saw it listed under combo models on the Exo-Force Wikipedia page, but couldn't find any trace of it. Unfortunately I don't have the MDT or the instructions.
  11. The Clone Scout Walker looks smaller in the pic where it's red. Not sure though. And why is Grievous stood up? Other than that, they look pretty much the same as the finished products.
  12. Not Bohemian Rhapsody?
  13. Yeah, but a mini-episodes TV series would be cool. And I'd rather have a proper jet-pack, but it can be easily changed.
  14. I'll try that. Mine worked quite well once, then refused after that.
  15. Bear in mind though the price here in the UK. Is it
  16. Anyone see it? 8-
  17. Two new videos have appeared here. Seem OK. The animation's pretty good. Pity about the unrealistic disc launchers ;-)
  18. This post. Before 'FIGHTERS', you've put 'no' by accident (I presume; as highlighted above), which could confuse some people. Seeing as the subject is fighters.
  19. My dad and I thought about taking up a subscription offer we came across, but we eventually decided against it. We did, however, pick up an issue to see what we thought of it. The one with the new Honda Civic type-R. I presume you saw the article on bizarre motoring accidents and the like. :-D That poor guy who kept having his car stolen when he was in court... testifying against people who'd previously stolen his car. The glue one was good too. In fact my grandad and uncle saw a similar thing with a car sinking in the sand. A 4x4 came to help, and got stuck too, leading to a succession of cars and drivers doing the same. :-D And we mustn't forget the one about the pensioner and the ring of fire, the one with the coach/bus (which I'm sure I've heard before) and my personal favourite:
  20. I agree! He's got to be one of the most cynical doctors in existence. ER's not that bad either. I've just started to watch the original episodes as my mum bought the first 6 (yes, 6!) series on offer. Out of about 130-odd episodes, we've watched about 5. So not long to go...
  21. Sorry to be picky, but might I suggest that you edit your post so it says 'now' instead of 'no.' I presume that's what you meant. :-) And yes, I will be entering. I hope.
  22. Its the same pic that was pointed out in the 'Toy Fair 2007' thread. The large picture of the base. Start in the bottom left corner, follow the tube to the block where the other tubes start from. On top of the 'block' is an astronaut in a chair. Look at his back.
  23. *y* Awaiting with baited breath... and a due sense of dread! :-D
  24. Yeah, that's the one. *wub*
