  1. I like the idea of that! Very DCAU!
  2. For the most part, the faces of the TTG minifigs we've seen thus far are more closely associated with the usual superhero figs than the show, so I'd say whatever their solution is for the face, it won't look too out of place. Probably a Marvel thing, although I'm not quite sure what Marvel has in the way of nostalgia. Oh, I never thought that the other D2C would be anything but a superheroes set! That's gonna be a fun one to see play out, for sure.
  3. I'd say Vision's phasing will let him use grates, mostly. Perhaps they'll have special doors for it, too, like Martian Manhunter did in LB3.
  4. Nah, Marvel just doesn't have as much of the merchandising revenue for X-Men and Fantastic Four as it does with Spider-Man and the rest of Marvel. Fox gets a large majority of the profits, so they tend to make less of that because they make less money from it. Sometimes, though, it's more lucrative to make merch for those brands than to not, despite the profit difference, especially when it comes to the X-Men. Those guys have always been money magnets.
  5. The only problem I'd have with a Go! version of Raven is the head. If they do the big mask-like shading over her face it has the capacity to look super awful. I suppose it'd also disappoint a bit if they just made her with the closed cloak printed on instead of a purple cape and black unitard. Boot printing is also a must with her. The promo art for the DC Superhero Girls brand. Raven isn't a part of that lineup, so she definitely won't be a part of the merchandising until they decide to introduce her.
  6. Oh wow, that actually IS really good! I'm real picky when it comes to Amythest thanks to that really great miniseries Cartoon Network did for DC Nation, and I wholeheartedly support that one! A+!
  7. I think Deadpool is their one exception. They may not get all of the profits from Deadpool merch, but they make and sell plenty of it and still make a killing. There's also the car from Agent Carter, the one that Jarvis mostly drove. As much as I love Peggy, I don't think she's as likely. She's dated and also falls victim to Lego's gender bias. Plus, she doesn't have a vehicle that's so attached to her as Coulson does with Lola.
  8. Are kids really clammoring for an 'X-Wing Pilot #6822' minifigure? The racers line is full of figures even less desirable for kids than Green Arrow. WB says that any merchandising for Suicide Squad is going to be more "adult" oriented anyway. No Legos, but Hot Topic's gonna be painted with the shit. The general consensus seems to be that Lego will probably want to find a way to do the new Joker and maybe Harley since he's an easy sell, and the fact that he has his own car makes that all the more tempting since Lego loves their vehicle v vehicle sets.
  9. *gasp* This really IS Coulson's chance!! If they don't give him one it'll be a wasted subtheme!
  10. I doubt it'll be giving us characters like Booster Gold or Polka-Dot Man, but guys like Scarecrow and Green Arrow who are in bigger sets or aren't as common in sets at all. It might even be a nice outlet for variations on characters, and it'll definitely make it easier for purist custom figures, with superhero-specific parts being cheaper than ever.
  11. I'm pretty okay with the Racers thing. Having easy access to less common characters can only be a good thing. Plus it makes me think the Flashmobile and Arrow-car are possibilities in some form! It reminds me of that episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, actually! I can't wait to see what we get from that. VS. sets would be much preferred though.
  12. Y'know what would make a great head for Loki? The unscarred half of Two-Face's head. If they just made a whole print like that it would be so right.
  13. It's less to do with the crowd and more about Evangeline Lilly's pregnancy.
  14. I am in love with that Wiccan. Can this game have like, 12 preorder figures at once? There's just too many great figures here that will never make it into a set for that not to happen
  15. Crap, did I say head? I meant helmet.
  16. Where's Yellowjacket's head from?
  17. We've talked about that. It generally comes down to the show being WAY too violent for a direct tie-in set, but if they used him in an episode of Ultimate Spider-Man or Avengers Assemble he'd be fair game. I'd say we'll get Kraven at least in next year's Spidey sets, since they don't seem to do too many repeats of his villains. Perhaps a bigfig Venom or Lizard as well. Now that Spidey's in the MCU, though, we have a new source for these characters, although the possibility of just getting new versions of some of our current villains (Venom seems pretty likely, and Doc Ock could still happen) is pretty high that way, too.
  18. This might be a bit off-topic but this excerpt from Deathstroke's bio: "he became the world's deadliest mercenary known as Deathstroke" beating out Deathstroke Williams from Cranston, Rhode Island and Darwin E. Athstroke of Toronto, Canada
  19. I really dig that Yellowjacket! I'd make it if I had the helmet and armor. Does anyone recognize the torso on Kingpin in that picture? Or is it non-purist? Somebody mentioned Speedy back there, to which I would suggest a Robin torso, Tim Drake mask, generic tousled hair in dark orange, red legs, and flesh arms with yellow hands. Alternative torsos I would try are here and here. The important thing is maintaining the right ratio of red and yellow. Hope that helps!
  20. Oh my god, Scooby-Doo can go invisible using disguise from the movie? XD
  21. I think it's safe to say that Speed, Iron Lad, Hulkling, and Patriot are gonna be in there at this point. We've gotten enough Young Avengers to make the assumption that we're gonna get a fair bit of Young Avengers, and those all have pre-existing powersets. Inertia especially, since Marvel doesn't have a lot of speedsters. EDIT: yeah, Inertia's the evil version of DC's Impulse, not Young Avenger. Oops.
  22. Ma'alefa'ak! Great idea! I think that's the way to go with this! Thanks!
  23. Got some Batman '66 villains I made for a contest on Flickr! I can't believe I never got around to these guys before! Bookworm Black Widow False Face Lord Ffogg The Archer Mr. Freeze (George Sanders)
  24. Does anybody have any good (preferably DC) uses for either Martian Manhunter's parts? I just got the Brainiac set and I don't know which J'onn to keep as my main one.
  25. Aw man, Agent Carter is in it?! Rad! I thought she would get left out for sure!
