  1. They say 4-speed gearbox is controlled by PF, i.e. it's not simply manual. From image, I fear a Hand of God only steered car . What's happened to adherence to reality ?
  2. I'd like to see a today kid engaged with a 78 pieces step . Why we did finish the model with such instructions? Most of us were kids or early teen when these models were released.
  3. READ (AT YOUR OWN RISK) AND... EHR... 'ENJOY' I hope you're joking . I'm not a betrayer !!! LOL, I agree !
  4. I've already seen these products on shelves ! ...yeah, M3#@B70ks dedicated shelves .
  5. Now I've see the vid I can say: it's so beautiful . Thank you very much, Seluryar!
  6. I see the only important thing for most of us is its functionality . The fact it has to be nice too it's on second side.
  7. Euro-junkie you too ?
  8. Not apparently. I've seen it when I was in France last July. I understand French, but I didn't buy it.
  9. I agree. At the end of building process, pain on the neck (and perhaps a bit of headache) is inevitable .
  10. I've seen in my local Toys Center store new HF sets. They look as boring as old Bionicle ones . Seriously, Von Nebula AF is quite impressive .
  11. In M#รง@B70ks fan forum, Dave, Larry & Co. are heavily ironic about POTC theme, saying it's a blatant copy of their beloved action figure oriented POTC theme .
  12. Tsk, you amateur. November 3, 1963. Topolino means Mickey Mouse in Italian. Some ads into the digest sized comic book: EDIL Plastik, early italian LEGO clone. Square studs. SCALEXTRIC! BILOfix, then TLG wooden rib And last, but not least, one of the most popular European competitors ever: Italocremona PLASTIC CITY in its early days. What do ya think ?
  13. What do you would expect by one who has proposed us to melt the bricks ?
  14. Where I can find this catalogue ? From early images I don't like the helicopter .
  15. Every time I think: or as kids we were too intelligent, or today kids are too idiots . Seriously, I don't want to back to old days 140-and-more pieces steps (#8865 docet, LOL), but I hate new one-or-two parts for step too. Consulting #4896 main model booklet (I'm thinking to purchase it) I discovered that back in 2006 (just four years ago!) instructions were half-way between old long-list-of-pieces step and today paper waste. I wonder why they didn't continue to follow that path.
  16. It's very sad to read your experience and frustration. I'd live it as a treason . But if the company has kept itself into the market for all those years before the changeover to the brick, it means that it could survive with its own market share. In this case, we can't say there's been the risk of a failure, but an increase of greed by K'NEX owners.
  17. CITY #8401
  18. I was surfing into K'NEX community site and I've been nicely surprised by the fact K'NEX fans don't use for T(heir)OC new semi-clone bricks and plates, but only traditional K'NEX elements (see here, for a example). This news will like to those EB members complaining the K'NEX products are falling into clone market; fans' love for pure elements could persuade K'NEX boards to back to old design, leaving out the bricks.
  19. If I buy #8053 it's only for alternate model.
  20. Pink? It's red. Colors are not opinions.
  21. I hope there will be not a minifig into the box, IMO it's a trahison to Creator spirit .
  22. Those proposed new parts look both cool and very usefull. Melted bricks instead cry vengeance to the sky.
  23. Ah, the devaluation !
