Plastic Nurak replied to Legoman's topic in Community
Legoman, happy to see you here. Any risk of other quakes (I hope no)? You said there are other community members living in Christchurch, any news about them? -

Most Annoying and Best Adverts in your Country?
Plastic Nurak replied to Jipay's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I agree. This one is yet a classic . -
It's not necessarily true. Maybe it could be some years ago, when models like #4404, #4888 and #4896 were released (like I said before, I think some of old Make and Create designers were former MT), now this comparison could be made with bigger Creator models only and other few exception (like #6747), while all MT sets were specials, including bricky #5510 and 5540 ones. Me too . Let's go to write a letter to Ambassadors !

They're clearly Exin West. Spain based Exin in '70s and '80s produced, among other themes and items, Exin West, Exin Castillos (Castles) and, obviously, more famous TENTE. They're not clone, because they're not compatible with our LEGO bricks. Between the end of Seventies and beginning of Eighties, TENTE and, in a minor way, the other Exin building toys had worldwide popularity. In the States Hasbro had sale license, in Italy Mondadori Giochi etc. Plastic has good quality (not cheap), surely better than the materials used by 99% of clone brands, Megablocks included.

I'm an avid golden and silver age comics, bédé, historietas, fumetti & classic manga reader. Comics: I'm not a huge fan of modern comics, although graphic novels catch my interest. I'm instead a big fan of Early, Golden and Silver Ages comics, IMO pure poetry:from Little Nemo to Krazy Kat, then Dick Tracy, Raymond's, 1930s and 1940s Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse, Segar's and so on. Not very interested to old 1940s and 1950s superheroes comics (maybe with only Batman exception), I like Silver Age cbs, from F4 till the Punisher (obviously only Marvel ones ). And I'm a huge Carl Barks' fan . Bédé: of the French and Belgian school, I adore Blueberry's saga (not too much last albums ), and I like a lot of classic bédé series. Now I'm insterested in Jodorowsky's stuff and in some Van Hamme's. Historietas: about Spanish language comics, I consider Oesterheld & Breccia's El Eternauta a Supreme Masterpiece that has to be placed among schoolbooks together with Spiegelman's Maus. Shame on those who never did read it. I like works of a lot of Spanish, Southamerican and historietas-related authors (Castillo, Ortiz, Segura, Salinas, Font, Wood and Quino and Ibañez, of course, and so on...). Manga: I only read classic manga authors (Tezuka, Go Nagai...), with some exception (Taniguchi, Urasawa...). Fumetti: to the next episode (too long now) !

It looks so good ! It's a deserved slap to M#G@b70ks ( ) designers and their <insert that tiresome argument> GT . A curiosity, it's the same size of Arvo Bros' GT?
