  1. When I partecipated in old discussion, I wondered here (just below the post with the image) why when we were kids we had not problems, at least not as hard as it could seem, using these instruction multipieces. Recently I recovered an old set, #8820, that at the time my aunt Tetta gave me for 1991 Xmas. It's a little model, but it has one step with a 20 pieces count and another one with a 21 pieces count (the total is 13 steps for 139 pcs). When I was a kid, I had no problem building the off-roader, although almost every step had a sub-step into it and other pieces were added in every angle of the model. It's sure that us kids had more attention than today's ones.
  2. I think that, with obvious exception, the maximum age range should disappear. Mainly for the complex models like #8258, #8043 and so on.
  3. In Italian Amazon this set was (is ?) sold for about 103 euros . Since I'm surely an idiot, I didn't take advantage from it .
  4. My greetings for your Countach model .
  5. Welcome, Legoless, your story is interesting. I guess the Lego bricks helped you to improve your own manuality despite your problem. Another reason to be proud of our beloved bricks .
  6. Another lucky guy with Billund in the courtyard . Welcome !
  7. My positive feelings about this model are confirmed by the picture above . But I noticed that I still don't have got some of the parts required . I'll wait .
  8. There were the DUPLO ones .
  9. Prices aren't (sadly) mad, it's the ask-and-offer law . I was 16 when Fort Legoredo was released and I felt I was a bit grown up to purchase it . Now that I'm an AFoL, I'd want to get it, but some profiteer sell it for a lot of money and this trend goes on. And I don't see never a lacking of interest in these sets, despite the high prices . Bisons are so amazing . I'm building a western MOC, now I'm going to make a second order via Mangiobricks because of a lack of some piece whose quantity I understimated while I made the first order.
  10. Complimenti, Salvo ! I hope to see these MOCs in Ballabio LEGOfest, in July . Maybe while Gioppa-the-Giant is telling us one of his Sicilian anecdotes .
  11. Great review. I was thinking to buy it via Amazon (price is lower than the official one), now I'll do it.
  12. Maybe it has been a mistake made by TLC packaging department .
  13. I like too the Guzzi pictured in Milan Navigli .
  14. It's sure that all those sets are already mine !
  15. ...this model is not inspiring to me .
  16. I don't like this robot, but surely I'll buy it because of all those usable parts . To the reviewer:this is the best in its price range... ...because it's the very first time we have a Creator set for 15€ ! I've bought as usual the MInicreator sets to display them and the Dune Hopper that is IMO a little good model . I agree with jonwill, except for the 2010 Car, the Sonic Boom and the Offroad. Other sets are unimpressive.
  17. Another set I wanted during my childhood and I never had . Good review, brother .
  18. I remember that I hoped Santa gave me this set, mainly because of an apparently odd reason, I liked the grey roof pieces. I never got it . You lucky kid !
  19. Such a lovable little set . I'm jealous too of your collection .
  20. I'm crying . I had this set as a gift for 1986 Xmas, when I was 6, and it's been the only huge LEGO set I had during my childhood. I'm very nostalgic about this airport, I love it, I want to find one soon. Pieces, stickers and the outer and inner box are as did remember .
  21. I'd like to build every model that you displayed (together with the others in the background ), but my wallet doesn't agree .
  22. It's amazing beautiful, I need the instructions, now . I hope someone working in TLC see your MOC and hire you .
  23. The #6878 ( http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6878-1 ) with the money who I had as Befana's gift in January 1993. In my teens I was still insterested in Model Team & Technic lines sets, but what I wanted (#8880, to do an example) was so expensive ...
