From Sir Friso, Lord of the Falcon Islands, greetings. I hereby inform and announce unto you that it pleases me to report unto you that the town walls of Falconia are finished. Save for a prospective new gatehouse, my main settlement and its inhabitants are now safely protected from all wouldbe marauders, be they from Nocturnus or anywhere else in these perilous lands. Having made a fair amount of money with his Travelling Puppet Theatre, Fool's decided to step up things a little bit. With some help from Jester and some local carpenters - temporarily out of work now that the town walls are coming along nicely in their definitive stone - Fool has created a new spectacle: a huge blue dragon - and a stage in front of the town's Market Hall. And within no-time, Fool's playacting is really drawing a crowd... ... and while Fool gives away his best performance... ... with Jester as his greatest fan... ... one of the local cloth merchants is being robbed - without him noticing the robbery... ... fortunately, one perceptive Falcon soldier did... and sets off in hot pursuit... ... trying to apprehend this young Wolfpack outlaw... These Hand of Corruption Soldiers are pretty dense - aren't they (...)? Original idea, good execution within such a small space. Nice build SK, love your lego rock-work!

From Sir Friso, Lord of the Falcon Islands, greetings. I hereby inform and announce unto you that it has pleased me to receive reports that the town walls of Falconia are well under way. At my urging, Falconia's Master Craftsmen are making haste with the construction. Proper town walls will protect Falconia's citizens from marauding Orcs, Drows and the like. As lord of these lands it is my responsibility to make sure that all my vasals enjoy the best possible protection. For the glory of Mitgardia! Peasant labourers and craftsmen transport rocks to the site and hack them into manageable pieces... ... and bring them inside the town walls... ... where the Master Mason of Falconia and his apprentice carve them into building blocks for the new stone wall... ... whereas the Falcon Watch keeps guard, scanning the surrounding area for possible danger to the town and their inhabitants. AoM Wall Phase One - Fool's Punishment / Jodocus / Mitgardia AoM Store Phase One - Fool's Puppets / Jodocus / Mitgardia

Jealous of Jester's succes in the ale-business, and having served his punishment at the new town wall construction site... the long digging hours have given Fool some time to think. And, Fool being a fool, he decided to do what fools do best - entertain people... Now he travels the Falcon Islands with his mobile puppet theatre... acting out some popular Mitgardian tales - like this one: ... something to do with a Prince and a Frog... it seems Fool's got things a bit messed up... which doesn't bother the spectators though... ... and Fool's making quite some money... ... since the Falcon Soldiers seem to be mesmerized by this new form of entertainment... To be continued...

I hereby inform and announce unto you that it has pleased me not to receive a report from my Officer of the Falcon Guard that members of the guard are skirking their duties and rather be drinking ale. Nor that one of my fools keeps pelting snowballs at my men. Therefore, I have given instructions to put negligent guards and errant fools to work at the town wall construction site of Falconia. As lord of these lands I recognize that this small town urgently needs some defenses. Fools and foolish guards will learn the error of their ways and throw their weight behind digging instead of snowballs and ale! And so, Fool's punishment begins... He's put to work down in the newly dug moat that is to surround the new town walls... ... next to some of the negligent guards... And while the Master Carpenter of Falconia and his apprentice work at some quick wooden fencing... ... peasant labourers are digging... ... and the Officer of the Falcon Guard is feeling pleased with himself... finally enjoying a drink while smiling at this little scene of retribution... ... while a more dutiful Facon Guard is keeping watch... AoM Inn Phase Three - Jester's Inn / Jodocus / Mitgardia

Some time after the ale business really took off in Jester's Beer Garden... Jester thought it high time to build a decent inn - a roof over their heads while working and a pleasant lodging for guests. With an vending window at street level for serving ale to passers-by. While they were at it, they also renovated the ruined tower and put Jester's Mitgardian colours on top of it. And, as a gesture to the recently undervalued PR Skills of Fool, Jester agreed to Fool painting the inn in his FAVOURITE COLOURS RED AND YELLOW. Jester has finally recognized that Fool's tantrums are a force to reckoned with... That's how the small Mitgardian town of Falconia came by its very first official inn: "Jester's Inn". And while Jester's making loads of money... ... and can't stop smiling now that he's firmly on his way to Fame and Glory and Living Large... maybe in time... a knighthood to buy?... ... the officer of the Facon Guard comes rushing into the little square to check up on some missing soldier skirking his duties... ... and finds his quarry... as well a some snowballs... pelted by Fool, who, again, has been drinking a wee to much... Love the tangled city lay out - real medieval feel to it all. Also like the animals in the street adding to the atmosphere! Well done SK! Good luck in CCC.

AoM Inn Phase Three - Jester's Beer Garden / Jodocus / Mitgardia Sorry, should be AoM Inn Phase Two of course! Not Phase Three...

Despite, or maybe thanks to Fool getting drunk wit the the Falcon soldiers, money had been poring in and so Jester thought it time to move to the nearest town or village to find a more permanent location for their fledgling business. Now they've ended up in Falconia, a small and not too thriving town on one of the many Falcon Islands... Not being able to buy anything more than a derelict building next to an unused and slightly ruined tower, Jester has made the most of it - some inventiveness and carpentry skills have worked wonders. Soon Jester's Beer Garden is attracting quite some customers... While Jester's selling his ale at ever better prices... ... and everyone is thoroughly enjoying themselves... ... Fool feels he's not truly appreciated by Jester - After all, wasn't it mainly due to Fool's Public Relation Skills that the small venture got off so well? Disgruntled, he's secretly trying to replace Jester's Mitgardian colours by RED AND YELLOW, since RED AND YELLOW ARE HIS FAVOURITE COLOURS AND THIS BEER GARDEN ALSO BELONGS TO FOOL!!! ... Fortunately for Jester though, now also some locals are starting to drop by to see what's up with these two clowns and their Beer Garden... Impressive!!! Jester has been staring at your moc for hours, trying to remember all the achitectural details... He's currently entertaining the idea of becoming a master-mason... Fool on the other hand is totally distraught and cannot be consoled... he's convinced that after the King, also the Jester got murdered... Thanks for sharing your build!
