Hi, hi, SK better beware of Fool and Jester on the roll... So glad you all like my mocs. This was my first try at a genuine round tower... happy you think it turned out well. A head full of ideas keeps me from my sleep - and more mundane things in the real world... A big thank you to the community of GoH for giving so much inspiration!!!

From Sir Friso, Lord of the Falcon Islands, greetings. I hereby inform and announce unto you that it has pleased me to institute the Falcon Border Watch. Improvements on the Watchtower have been made so that my men will be protected when doing their duty for Mitgardia. Also it has been my decision to forbid any fools to enter the Watchtower on pain of my displeasure. For the Glory of Mitgardia! The Watchtower has been finalized - a sturdy stone tower to guard the borders against all foes... ... and while Sir Friso instructs the guards not to let in any Fools (or Jesters, for that matter)... ... his retainers are starting back to Falcon Rock... ... while Fool and Jester, having been told that only real soldiers can enter the tower, are playing at Knights and Heroes... ... and others are taking the Knights and Heroes-business a bit more seriously! Encouraged by their latest success, Jester and Fool thought it an excellent idea to start selling some ale and making some money for themselves. After all, they must prepare financially for their upcoming Fame and Glory - Living Large doesn't come cheap! After having debated about the colourscheme of their latest contraption... of which debate there couldn't be but one possible outcome: RED AND YELLOW CAUSE THEY ARE FOOL'S FAVOURITE COLOURS AND HE WILL NOT INVEST IN ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE RED AND YELLOW!!! ... (usual tantrum, etc., etc., etc.)... They are finally in business... And while their lord is missing his favourite falcon... which also got a total-makeover... ... and Jester is focussing on businessplans and money... ... Fool is working on their Public Relations... ... That is... before things went awry with a fool and his ale... To be continued...

Apparently, Jester and Fool's antics set some fire to their lord's heart and mind: And while some take their new duties very seriously... ...Fool just believes this tower to be a perfect climbing-rack to show off his skills... ... and is thoroughly enjoying himself... .... others take pride in their work... ... or seriously question their lord's sanity... ... I'd buy the Black Falcon's Fortress from 1986, you get 6 minifigs in one go. http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?pg=1&itemID=4669&sz=10&searchSort=P You could also buy the re-issued edition from 2002, but this might be more expensive. After that, you could buy some seperate Falcons (that's' what I did) http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?pg=1&itemID=7855&sz=10&searchSort=P or go for the smaller sets... Good luck!!

Jester has overheard the talk in the castle - and informs Fool about the Civil Wars. He's heard soldiers tell of Drakarkan, of Vampires and Drow, of fire and slavery, and he feels they have to do something to protect their new lord and home. Fool has also heard of these horrors and agrees. And what beter way than to build an outpost, he suggests to Jester? With a tower so they can see danger from afar - their lord cannot be but pleased with their efforts! And so Jester and Fool set to work: Jester objects to Fool planting his banner next to the Mitgardian one: after all it is supposed to be their lord's outpost! Moreover, it might gave a wrong impression - to their lord and to passers-by: Jester doesn't want their outpost to pass for a Nocturnian build... that might invite the wrong crowd! Fool cannot be swayed however, and throws himself in one of his tantrums: since it wat HIS IDEA to build an outpost, he can have his banner planted. HE WILL HAVE RED AND YELLOW - THEY ARE HIS FAVOURITE COLOURS AND HE DOES CARE LITTLE THAT IT MIGHT ATTRACT THE WRONG CROWD! THAT'S WHY THEY BUILT THE OUTPOST IN THE FIRST PLACE: TO SPOT WRONG CROWDS!!! Fool's tantrums are becoming something of a legend - it seems there's nothing for it but for Jester to hope for the best... To be continued...

Jeroenaa, to be honest... After I totally fell for Classic Castle, I've bought a lot of my Classic Lego collection through Bricklink: from 2 vintage sets to seperate Falcon figs. I did have some classic lego from the 80's, but not nearly enough . So I bought my first big Falcon set second-hand 2 years ago. Therefore, if you really want to have something else next to your crownies and kingdoms figs: check out Bricklink.com. Prices are ok, and if you order from sellers that live in the same country as you do, you can save some money on the postage. After that: just mix old and new and have fun!
