  1. Just a simple concept, tested for thrust with the 9396 set's blades: Reading and a full building instruction: http://sariel.pl/2013/11/variable-pitch-propeller/
  2. Of course they do. This is what you want, the controller and the USB dong for wifi connection: http://tinyurl.com/orcmjee No idea, never used the third-party ones.
  3. Yeah, you have to buy the controller that comes with USB dong that you connect to the computer. There's a WiFi connection between the dong and the controller, and it installs in the system just as a regular USB controller. From there on, RobotC can see it and you can run the program from my website.
  4. Well, I think the video explains everything: If you're interested, the RobotC control program is available at my website: http://sariel.pl/2013/11/nxt-killough-platform/
  5. Yes, this particular model comes with a complete instruction: http://sariel.pl/down/mb540k-bi.pdf
  6. The GoPro doesn't have a screw hole, but there is special mount that allows a connection. It costs extra, though.
  7. Why going the hard way? http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Aurimax That's what I used for:
  8. This is obviously a Hamster's Fatness Measuring Device.
  9. Well, I've been asked about it a couple of times, so here it is. Hope it comes in handy:
  10. Thanks. Personally, I don't like it much, so I didn't post it here. I should have a nuclear reactor to power this thing, then it would work nice.
  11. Many thanks, I'll try to use it.
  12. Hi, I'm in a rather urgent need to contact the Spartanburg Lego Club (upstatelegos.com). There are some email addresses provided in the Contact tab, but perhaps you know some faster way to get in touch, perhaps some SLC members are present here at EB?
  13. Love it. Flawless and amazing. I especially like the aggressive hood's shape.
  14. Guess I'm nowhere as organized as you, guys. And things can get even messier in the heat of the building:
  15. I'm only using calm music because it's free :P If it was entirely up to me, you would keep hearing hardcore grind death metal all the time ;)
  16. Interesting topic. Personally, while I do appreciate epic music (Hans Zimmer!), I'm allergic to hear it being used with MOC videos and I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible. My Pagani Zonda example you have used is interesting, because I took that music track from a promotional video by the Pagani company, actually. Still, I literally cringe whenever I see a video with like 100-pieces MOC accompanied by sooper-dooper-Earth-is-doomed Two Steps From Hell soundtrack, or a similar one. I believe one of my decent examples of video and music going well together is this:
  17. Never knew we had any official TLG staff here. When I was in the Power Functions project group, I have learned that there is indeed a prototype of a PF S motor, but it will not be introduced until there is a set which makes use of it. In other words, until a designer working on a new set decides that no other motor can work for it, there is no way we'll see the S motor.
  18. Two. Also, if you're interested, here's a small video showing a post-processing that leads to photos like these:
  19. Sure Eric, it's basically the same rig I used here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85327 Only this time I have altered it for higher speeds, since the load is way smaller. There is 1 Medium motor for driving along a pipe, 1 Medium motor for rotating, and 2 XL motors driving two winches directly. So the model technically hangs on the XL motors, but using a worm gear makes everything soooo slow.
  20. "- My mother warned me about getting into cars with strange men. - This isn't a car." Some reading and plenty of delicious, big pics: http://sariel.pl/2013/08/the-bat/ I owe many thanks to Mahjqa for inspiration.
  21. I suppose so, it seems to have plenty of load capacity.
  22. The B-model proves to be excellent. Here's a review:
  23. It looks light enough to be driven fast by a PF Medium motor. PF XL geared down twice is kind of overkill.
  24. Thanks. It has to be great, it's got hamsters in it ;)
