  1. a short question, what do you think about this cover? speichenfelge von efferman auf Flickr
  2. it is uploaded should be able to order in a few minutes https://www.shapeways.com/model/1761891/u-500-wheelcover.html?li=my-models&materialId=6
  3. yes there will be a gap, because the two sides of the rim are different and i dont want that the cover cant be pressed into the rim. the actual look fits good to a wide tire option, for everything else bushings can be used to adjust the height. @ ritztoys, that looks gorgeous
  4. here is the U 500 version U 500 wheelcover von efferman auf Flickr
  5. pat ard, i have made a rough sketch and one rim would cost roundabout 45 euros at cumulonimbus, no problem
  6. the rims for the xerion should the fit on my planetary gear? and i need the exact dimensions of the rim, because the tires are full rubber so they cant be squeezed
  7. yes, they are uploaded https://www.shapeways.com/model/1761607/u-406-wheelcover.html?li=my-models&materialId=6
  8. so here is the look with rim u406 von efferman auf Flickr
  9. no, the 4 cut-outs are only for optical reasons. i will make a simple rim to show how it looks in the rim
  10. pat-ard for the u406 rim, is this ok for you? or the beading more thick 0406 felgenabdeckung von efferman auf Flickr
  11. on the back i have used the boat hulls from my harbour tug and on the front 3 of these boxes
  12. I need the exact tire, because there are many different sizes. Are the tires full rubber or are they like lego tires?
  13. I will search for pictures and then look what i can do. The rim, which tires to use?
  14. Ok, better than to loose. I will make a comment on shapeways
  15. Wonderful, iam glad that it works so good.
  16. the size of the PF-L is not a problem and absolutely not the power. i only need a indicator where is the thrust direction
  17. ok, a single buggy motor has not enough power for propulsion this thing. a change to a XL is necessary
  18. maybe this is something for you <- link
  19. I dont want more weight, so i have moved the containers backward and removed the heli platform. And i have placed three closed airtanks under the bow. If this is not enough i can mount the float boxes one or two studs deeper , then it should float horizontally.
  20. you can see it swim here, but the waterline needs some tuning the parts for the heli deck is from a minifig space set, something with green aliens. to be exact it is this part http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=74902&colorID=11
  21. thanks guys. a vid in open water will come next days, even when water is still very cold btw, better photos both propellers are coupled together and driven by a single Buggy motor. the steering works with a PF-M on each propeller. the weight is roundabout at 3 kg and the center of gravity is at the end of the exhaust pipes.
  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voith_Schneider_Propeller These are voight schneider propellers
  23. For this we would need a full boat hull. Not possible with pure lego, and printing a hull would cost 300+euro.
