  1. a part like this? cvaxlejoint von efferman auf Flickr
  2. then i dont think that it is possible with actual parts
  3. the finish is like sandpaper, if you choose on flickr the biggest picture size you can see the surface. the stability seems very good and the price was 38 euro atr the service rapidobject.com eyes only, but two turntables are five times cheaper than one of these parts. but if lego could produce a part like this in a mold it would be very cool edit: here are two ideas for custom universal joints and CV joints cvaxlejoint von efferman auf Flickr
  4. ok, what is with the independent suspension which i have shown in the first post?
  5. my first parts are arrived, and they fit very tight. the holes for the gears i had to make it more wide because the holes was two tenths to small. the pins which are holding the rim are fit perfect. the ring which holds the part on the turntable base fits, but it is tight and needs grease to rotate. mounted the material itself seems to be strong, so i think my turntable should work edit: and it is ordered in the same quality for 53 euro
  6. this evening we had in our chat a small discussion about this thing in lego and i was so crazy to think this would be possible with two motors, well, walking is something different
  7. Igor, 18 studs with tires or between tires?
  8. thanks guys, servos are not my problems, more the small pneumatic pumps. one of my 6Lpumps has a leak so i can not make a symetric pump setup without seeking in a huge box of unsorted parts
  9. oh my god, what an epic typo btt, because i want do some functions pneumatic i have need a remote controlled valve and this is my solution
  10. no, my two copys does have six booklets
  11. indeed and now i see how complex it will be. the actual standing at the moment i see following functions: lift and lowering the craping bucket lift and lowering the front shield of the bucket the mechanism which pushes the payload out of the bucket steering driving and because there is one function of a receiver not used maybe a elevator mechanism
  12. ok, wat is a schürfdings? a scraper in english source and if i finalize it it will be huge the tires 100_0571 von efferman auf Flickr the plan is to use two XL motors, one per axle and articulated steering with big Linear actuators
  13. a new pendular double axle for 19 wide trucks. 19widetwinpendular von efferman auf Flickr ldd file
  14. because solid Axles and suspensions are the biggest problem for beginners i have started on my german homeforum a collection thread for vehicle axles and suspensions, and i think here should exist a thread like this too. feel free to post your own axles and suspensions. please with picture and if possible with an LDD file that it can simple reproduced. here a first bunch of my axles heavyplanet trackwidth is variable planet with difflock planet with difflock and power drivethrough driven and steered independent suspension with 11 studs between towballs, unfortunately no ldd file possible flat and solid axle please post your own axles too
  15. i have found where you can find the yellow 6x6 dish. Two of them are available in a legends of chima set here are the part infos
  16. i dont have found one, but this one shows good how a wheeled loader should work
  17. but why lego dont do it? unfortunately lego will never do a bigger turntable, because the actual is good enough for kids
  18. would be look cool if five volvo workers would stand with haevy tools arround the 42030 box
  19. i think this part would be very usefull for biggercranes like 42009. in opposite to the big turntable from lego it has 11 studs in diameter and can not jump out when it is built in the modell. it should be possible to produce it with a classic mold
  20. if you want dig in sawdust the L motor is neccessary. if you want only digging in lego pieces a M should be enough. in relation to dokludis replica mine does only look like 42030. the driving speed is nearly the same, steering works much better. lifting the arm is faster and strong enough. so i think for playing inside only the steering mod is neccessary
  21. and the will be much to wide for the bucket
  22. maybe the clutches on 42030 will less stressed, because my drivetrain to the bucket tilt actuator is very short and i use a L motor instead of the M. the 42030 uses 2 more gears and longer axles to get the power to the actuator. the crackling noises in the video are complete clutch noises
  23. the LDD file is finished 1864 parts - 150parts for the 3 fake PF-L volvo L350F full von efferman auf Flickr Volvo L350F lxf
  24. mostly i use linear actuators, because they hold their position under load and they are better for RC. unfortunately, or fortunately sometimes, the driveline to it is mostly complex. and with lego only parts it is not possible to get more than two functions through a turntable
  25. maybe they work on two sides, but on one side the clutch of the LA is faster
