These figs are great, especially the warlord soldiers. An army of these would be quite scary. One thing I would change would be the shield for Henrick however as I don't like the design (too childish IMO). I think these shields are better : or even these

I am not a fan of AR but that submarine is really fantastic! Of course a yellow submarine is appropriate if your a beatles fan but it be great to see it in grey also. Also, I have to go check out the new AR stuff as I didn't know a set now had tracks that would be perfect for making military tanks :)

Welcome Karl. Nice to see a new City/train and Pirates fans *sweet* Shame about your old collection but at least it freed up some space.

I never normally write anything in these odd LEGO SPACE parts but I thought this might interest some of fans of real-life space exploration and understanding. Personally I feel Stephen Hawking is an inspiration to human kind in general and he writes some good space related books such A Brief History Of Time. EDIT: This is created by Ochre Jelly, check out his site at http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/28297

Lovely building DJ. And yes, it would look very good as a court house. You seem to have alot of floor space to make it possible to do a great interior as well.

I wish someday soon you will set up these minifigs in a huge battle scene. All you need is some baseplates and natural scenes, trees, rivers etc... it would be great.

King's Keep: Classic Castle MOC
Minifig Lecturer replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great MOC and the towers are a good indication that shoddy builders existed before the 20th century. BTW I love the tudor looking house. -
Somewhat related to the Simpsons (Homer, Clancy, Comic BG, Barney) I would love to see an overweight Lego mini-fig, i.e. one with a beer belly.

I like the passenger cars but not the engine and whatever the carriage is called that holds the coal/fuel - I find these much too yellow and I see sunglasses. The designs however are excellent, though especially the passenger cars. More Grey, Less Yellow !

Its nice but I also think a second story would add some character to the building. You could make a 2nd storey just covering the black baseplate roof and leaving the garage section as is. One suggestion, if you could replicate the fancy cornerstone on the other side of the front door I think the symmetry would make the overall construction look a lot better!

I agree that a tram would be great, especially if they could somehow must string as immitation electrical wires. However I think first of all a tram would require new road baseplates, unless there is a way one could integrate the existing railway track and road plates without looking silly. I cant think of any.

I found this on the BBC and thought it was pretty funny. The BBC writes "A huge Lego toy has mysteriously appeared on Zandvoort beach in Holland. Nobody knows where it comes from. " Link to BBC News Reuters report: AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A giant, smiling Lego man was fished out of the sea in the Dutch resort of Zandvoort on Tuesday. Workers at a drinks stall rescued the 2.5-metre (8-foot) tall model with a yellow head and blue torso. "We saw something bobbing about in the sea and we decided to take it out of the water," said a stall worker. "It was a life-sized Lego toy." A woman nearby added: "I saw the Lego toy floating towards the beach from the direction of England." The toy was later placed in front of the drinks stall.

Copmike, how long / difficult are mosaics like these to make? I have never made one but would like to make one for someone as a present. Do you think its possible to do or does it take much practice? I dont know the technique you use. -
If deemed acceptable under the term "whack", I would like the following photo to be my entry. If not, my lawyers are on their way as you can see.

Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
Minifig Lecturer replied to john cleese's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I am just glad I didn't bother sorting out my Brickshelf folders last weekend. I would imagine it might be the new domain name for Brickshelf.com. In other words, you will be able to put your pictures up on brickimage.net once brickshelf.com is gone. -
The Toy shop should have little boxes of lego (like a 1x2, 1x3 2x3 brick with set picture). A good way to advertise the LEGO logo and could even be used to advertise other sets.

Well that's probably true Alex but their are 1000s of streets like this in the big cities throughout Ireland and the UK.
