  1. Maybe they will have small legs like the lego children, and be elves in that sense.
  2. Fantastic layout you have there. Really love the shop fronts, very realistic!
  3. I think they ship from Germany. Mine does anyway :) On the issue, I have had missing pieces from orders and 1 or 2 unrequested pieces instead.
  4. Neat house. I trust he has a high-speed internet connection.
  5. It should work with Vista. I have V Premium and it works. Make sure you have all available Microsoft Vista updates installed - download them free at microsoft.com Also you could try reinstalling LDD after.
  6. Great MLRS and bunker!
  7. Ok thanks for the feedback guys! I think I will invest in new light bulbs :)
  8. Hey all, I am trying to find out what kind of digital camera would be good enough to take good pictures of my lego collection and also some videos. The hitch is that I don't want to spend much on a camera though. I dropped into a shop today and the guy showed me some models. Kodak 385 or something for 150EUR. It had 8-10 megapixels and could alledgedly do video. There was another manufacturer model about the same price. Anyone have any ideas? I would think 8megapixels+ is good, probably fine, but is there anything else one should look out for or consider when buying a cam? You could get a fair bit of lego for 150E.
  9. The see-saw is cool.
  10. Thanks all for the feedback. I was hoping they were standard yellow faces :'-(
  11. Hi, Underneath the Storm troopers and Darth Vader helmets, what is the colour of the head. Are either the standard yellow face or are they black or something. I've seen both on Google image search.
  12. Thanks, just did! Thanks, I trust you as much as Peeron don't worry. Sounds good. You're right, pity there are no new sets though I remember they were pretty expensive at the time.
  13. Hello. Just wondering if anyone can confirm whether the Airport Shuttle monorail track will work with the Space monorail tracks of the 1990s? They look exactly the same to me, colour and usually black supports. Am I missing something? 8-
  14. I think you're right! The Chess set is probably the best value for money for this particular castle range.
  15. Good riddance to bad haircuts. Now hopefully next they'll send Bionicle to the bin.
  16. I think it be nice if there was a section that allowed users to create a Personal User Page, that they could update as necessary, for links and pictures to and of their own MOCs. The Personal User Page would not be a forum as such and ideally not allow other users post their comments on it. Instead it would be a links page to e.g. the User's Brickshelf gallery Mocs or to Mocs/topics of interest of their on Eurobricks. Just my two pennies.
  17. I think that is the reason why TLC make single piece hulls in the first place, i.e. to save production costs, not to allow them 'float'. The ability to float is just a property of anything plastic with no holes like a plastic bowl. :-)
  18. Welcome Red Beard! LEGO needs to create razors for people like you :-)
  19. I think both are good and have their pluses. I guess the brick-built ones are more traditional and better for allowing the owner to break it up and build an alternative design. Hopefully TLC continues to sell the two types in the future.
  20. The EN is obviously based on the United Nations but the UN's charter is supposed to be about peace whereas the EN's charter is more akin to ethnic cleansing judging by the comments of members. As for military mocs in general, I have nothing against toy weapons (just real ones) and there should be a forum for unaffiliated military mocs separate to an EN thread.
  21. Cafe Corner for me!
  22. Hi! Nice name. What's HSM? What armies you prefer, modern day, space age, Bonaparte's age?
  23. Welcome to EB Ajax! Hope you like it :)
