I put them inside a pillow case cover and threw them in a washing machine and they came out perfect. You use'd any cover before putting them in the machine? Great new pics BTW :)

5 bricks and 6 with my hat and nearly 7 with the plume in my hat.

I'm not sure of the answers to your interesting questions, however, you could plant a couple of trees for every 10euro you spend on Lego and that might cover your a$$.

Cool town and cool website! I was trying to make on of those slideshows but it was too difficult in the end. Looks great! I love the seaside part of the town the most. Really good pictures.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Unfortunately on Sat night I spent 2 hours trying to move it from the three green baseplates into the town square and the whole thing just fell apart. It was very frustrating fixing one part for another to fall off :( Now I have a big pile of jigsaw like pieces to try and fit together. The real problem is that the towns baseplates lie on a carpet which makes it difficult to make stable buildings that are built over more than one baseplate. The other problem, in this case, is trying to reach over all the other stuff in the way. Hard to do and studs on palms really hurt after a while. And another problem is that the floors inside can be take out but this has made the building somewhat weaker do it its weight. I might try and give it another go tonight. If it doesnt work I will take all the pieces back and rebuilt off-site again and try another day. The second building, parliament, is also too big - I messed up my calculations - so I will knock it down and make a shorter building. Yes, it's supposed to be imposing and potentially a fortress to hide from the less well-off angry minifigs roaming the streets. I think I will make a steeple, I first thought not to but as you recommend it I think I should. Thanks!

Nice layout Klaus! Some great sets integrated very well. Love the cinema on that corner!

I decided last night to change the look of the main square in my town and knock-down my old "Winter Palace" and rebuild it with a more impressive and detailed one. It is still a WIP but mostly complete. I need to get some white arched bricks for the small windows and the grills used as panes for the small windows too. Also I need to touch up on the inside of the building, I haven't furnished the inside of the two main wings which will be large halls. The parliament building is less detailed but is supposed to be. I hope that these buildings will look at least somewhat Neoclassical/Stalinist in architecture like these . The main problem I will have is transporting and placing the buildings onto the grey boards. This is usually a pain in the minifig backside. I'll add some more pics when finished and integrated into the town. The buildings they will replace are shown in last picture. Update here the buildings are integrated into my town:

Pegleg Blockbeard doesn't sound very Danish :) You could try Lt Billund.

I've seen alot of tanks but this has got to be the best and most accurate.

As block personality voting no doubt occurs and usually sees 2or 3 mocs that aren't as good as others leading, I usually wait until most votes have been cast and then go for the best moc IMO that happens to be in with a realistic chance of winning.

Carribean Clipper vs the Imperial Flagship

I'm boiling the tar now :)) Maybe the sail is not needed due to high winds... ;) -
Great review dunamis. Some interesting pieces in this set :)

Carribean Clipper vs the Imperial Flagship

The Caribbean Clipper has to be it! The sails on the other looks ridiculous and childish. Any respectable admiral wouldn't be seen dead in sails painted with cannons! -
Fantastic tree technique! Keep up the good work :)

Nice sprawling town you've got there Spartan. Only suggestion I would have would be to build MOC buildings around the square opening in the middle. That way they would hide the opening and also make the town look like it has a real concentrated centre. However, in saying that, I like the current layout alot :)

I came across this pic and it made me laugh. Thought I would share it.

Yep, looks like DUPLO to me which I don't consider real LEGO. No offence DUPLO fans out there, if any of you actually exist and can use a keyboard. Just kidding ;)

Cool city you have there Osakana. Where you get the idea of horses being lifted by crane in the port? Looks good, like cattle. I like the way you successfully integrated the monorail - no easy feat I believe!

Every now and then I see a Save the 9V Train campaign advocates. As I have 9V trains I understand their wish to bring back the trains. Doesn't look good though with this communique. I guess with different regions of the world using different mains power and with batteries being cheaper for the manufacturer, batteries are here to stay. Pity TLC cant go green and use solar power though. If anything it would generate huge publicity although the trains wouldn't go too fast where I live :)

Very interesting. Never saw something like this before. Then again I never saw a patent before.

Stauder Designs Latest Prototypes.
Minifig Lecturer replied to Stauder's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Personally I like studs showing rather than the flat slick look from tiles. Nice tank u have there - I would have moved the turret slightly more to the centre however. Really like the gun barrel. The yellow utility truck is neat too, not too keen on the grey one but the yellow version is a sweet little MOC. Could be adapted to be a US humvee if had a roof. -
Thanks! Got your pics, great city you have there, nice details :) Yea I kinda have a space problem at the moment Paul - I have some spare baseplates as I need room to be able to move around all sides of my town. The older you get the more difficult it is crawling around the floor :(
