  1. Hopefully it does well enough for other locations to be considered at this price range. Would be a great way to finally get the Geonosis Arena and Jedi Temple without having to wait 2-3 years for a new Master Builder Series set.
  2. I think a Keaton Batcave can still have a decent minifigure selection with Batman 89, Joker, Catwoman, Penguin, Alfred, Bruce Wayne, Vicki Vale, Max Shrek and the 7 new Flash Batsuits. That would bring it to around the same number of figures that Rivendell is getting. There's no doubt a comic version would have a much more interesting character line-up though, especially if it includes the entire Batfamily along with any new villains we haven't gotten before. Personally I'm hoping for something that can give us the best of both worlds. A set that is mostly based off the comic version but still has a few callbacks to the Keaton films and has the option of storing the new 89 Batwing and Batmobile sets.
  3. Nice to have confirmation that the D2C will be a new Batcave. Now the big question is will whether it will be comic based like the Daily Bugle was or if its related to the rest of the Keaton themed Batman sets coming out?
  4. It depends on whether the line is successful enough to continue beyond Rivendell and Barad-Dur. If we're going to see yearly releases for each of the major locations then most of the costume changes are going to be covered in the sets anyway. It doesn't leave much else for a CMF series to cover.
  5. Two-Face shouldn't need a new mold. The hairpiece on the 2019 Rebirth figure would work fine for a Batman Forever version. Even B&R Bane could get away with being a regular minifigure as he really wasn't much bigger in size than Drax is.
  6. If the medals are separate pieces it will be interesting to see if they tweak Han's torso print to be fully buttoned up or just reuse the existing ANH figure. I'm also curious how they'll approach Celebration Leia since the Padme hairpiece that was used on the previous figure has been long retired. Abby Yates/Harleen Quinzel's bun could work as the cheap option despite missing the braid, but it would be nice to have a new mold that can also be repurposed for Slave Leia in the potentially upcoming UCS Sail Barge.
  7. The costume vault will be back for The Flash. If they are doing a Keaton Batcave it would be a shame not to include a few of his new Batsuits.
  8. I think there's more than enough content to fill out each floor of the tower: Chitauri device on the roof Bar on the top floor (both in Avengers Tower and Stark Tower) Tony's lab (AOU) Infirmary (AOU) Armory (AOU) Iron Legion deployment (AOU) Catwalk for Cap vs Cap fight (Endgame) Lobby (Endgame) Plus there's always room for creative freedom. The previous Avengers Tower set from 2020 included both a prison cell and an ARC reactor. They could even have a floor dedicated to Iron Man's Hall of Armor if they wanted to.
  9. To be honest I hardly even notice the difference between the panels vs. windows. The only change that really stands out to me is the top level above the landing pad. Having two alternate floors that can be swapped out would be an easy way to represent both versions of the tower but I'd be okay if they decide to stick with only one design. Regardless which exterior they go with, the interior rooms should definitely be a hybrid of both towers.
  10. If its a Batmobile I could see it being the 60's version. Its the most recognizable of the ones they haven't made a D2C for yet. Alternatively one based on the animated series would be good as well, especially if they plan to go ahead with releasing the Gotham Skyline set based on the same show next year. But it definitely seems way to soon to revisit Keaton's again. A new Arkham Asylum would be awesome. We haven't had one since the Lego Batman Movie came out so its definitely due for another appearance. The Burton Batcave is another good option assuming 76266 is already based on it. The timing for one is appropriate with it appearing in the Flash movie and two 1989 Bat vehicles coming in the near future.
  11. Excited to finally be getting Yavin IV after all these years! Don't really have too much of a preference for which setting the Swamp Speeder will be based on. Felucia would be ideal for Commander Bly but I'd be okay with another Kashyyyk version again. If its anything like the Republic Tank hopefully they throw a Jedi in to go alongside the clones. New versions of either Luminara Unduli or Aayla Secura would be most welcome. Its shaping up to be a great year for new Leia figures and those are only the retail sets. There's also still the possibility of a fourth appearance depending on what the upcoming MBS/UCS sets are based upon. To think getting her character used to be a rarity back in the day.
  12. Hopefully its a modular Avengers Tower and not another Hulkbuster based on the Infinity War version. @FoggyFate have you heard anything about what 76266 (the unknown $99 set) could be?
  13. I don't think new molds should be an issue. The upcoming Indiana Jones diorama looks to have completely redesigned a new piece for the Fertility Idol. Definitely agree on the Balrog and Witch-King scenes. Those two should be the first ones released right out the gate.
  14. This is why we need more affordable display models. Dioramas and sculptures are a great way to provide more LOTR sets at a lower price range while still keeping the theme targeted primarily at adult collectors.
  15. Sauron was mentioned to be among the minifigures included in Barad-Dur so with any luck we should hopefully be seeing him sooner rather than later.
  16. My thoughts exactly. The design of the construction figures would be perfect for the Sentinels. The only thing I'd like to see done differently from the Ant-Man, Spider-Man and Iron Man figures is the head piece. The half cylinder that MODOK uses for his face would work better in this instance. If they can release a Sentinel, Blackbird and the X-Mansion simultaneously they should be able to cover most of the X-Men characters fairly quickly.
  17. It wouldn't surprise me if Barad-Dur includes a new weapons pack for the villain side as well. Would be nice for Sauron to have a proper mace instead of a brick built one and the orcs could really use an upgrade from those bulky Fantasy Era swords.
  18. Not getting Wasp is the biggest disappointment for me as well. Not only for the updated helmet but also with her new costume looking much more comic accurate compared to the one in Phase 3. Now I'm hoping the CMF series won't be all Disney+ focused and she shows up somewhere in there.
  19. A new Batcave would be nice. We're should be due for a new one soon since the last version came out in 2019 and basing it on Batman Returns would go well with the rest of the Keaton sets.
  20. Even a poncho feels unnecessary for them. They really don't need any cloth attachments at all. Just a simple print that carries over from the torso to the skirt piece should be enough.
  21. Nice to have confirmation on the NWH Statue of Liberty battle but its pretty disappointing that there's only two minifigure based sets coming this wave with the other being a 4+ set with repeat characters. Not getting Ant-Man, Wasp, Kang, MODOK, Lizard, the X-Men or updated versions of Hulk and Hawkeye to go along with the Quinjet crew feels like a real missed opportunity. Hopefully the CMF series and next Marvel D2C can turn things around and cross a couple names off the list.
  22. Depends on whether this line is here to stay or not. If its here for the long term it seems inevitable they will revisit Galadriel for newcomers who missed out on her last time, especially with her being the lead character in Rings of Power. Ideally my preferred line up would be: Eowyn (Dernhelm) released first in a Witch-King Battle set Galadriel (both White Gown and Dark Queen) in a small Mirror of Galadriel set Queen Arwen and Coronation Eowyn in Minas Tirith Updated Rider Arwen in a Nazgul Chase set Two more Eowyn variants for Helms Deep and Edoras (ideally TTT's blue sleeved traveling outfit and ROTK's brown corset/white dress) That should cover the essentials for all three characters.
  23. Those two seem inevitable for a Minas Tirith set regardless whether its minifigure or microscale. As nice as those variants would be, I do hope we see Eowyn and Galadriel first before getting anymore alternate Arwen costumes.
  24. Magneto was in the leaked X-Mansion pic. We're just missing Jean Grey, Rogue, Gambit and Jubilee from the original 90s animated team, but that's nothing a single set like the Blackbird can fix in the summer wave or early 2024.
  25. Rivendell has introduced an interesting solution to minifigures without articulated legs by providing a brick built alternative for when they're seated. I'm curious whether we'll see this used for Palpatine in the upcoming Death Star Throne Room diorama as well. The figure is due for an update and a printed skirt would look much more movie accurate on both Palpatine and the Royal Guards than the combination of regular legs with a cape currently do.
