  1. How much time left until the offer expires?
  2. Thanks for the review. As nice as this looks I hope we also see a non chrome version down the line.
  3. Thanks for the pics. I'm curious as to what head the female Jedi is going to have in the final set. The box pic shows the same face as Wonder Woman, but the second pic shows her with Elsa Schneider's head from the Indiana Jones line. Nice to see Leia getting an additional hairpiece although its hard to tell which mold it is - the POTC ponytail, the Collectable Minifigure ponytail or the new bun piece the CM bride uses? Pretty disapointed Padawan Obi-Wan is unchanged. He would look a lot better if he kept the previous face from the podracer set and had the same hairpiece as Hawkeye. Hopefully the head is dual printed with a better expression.
  4. Quality control has definitely gone downhill lately as far as minifigs goes. I can't count the number of times I've gotten misprinted or smudged faces the past 12 months.
  5. Amazing figure. She's well worth the wait after all these years. I'm really happy with the face too. It actually looks like her, unlike the Hermione one from last year. Be good if future Padmes used a modified version of this face minus the Queen makeup. I think its because the dress also slopes out to the sides. Making the top part narrower than the torso is so there's still room for the hands.
  6. Palpatine will probably use the same hairpiece as the CW version only in white instead of tan. If we get a new Kit I hope he'll be more like Shaak Ti, Saesee Tinn etc. with a regular minifigure head and specialized headpiece. I hated the rubber head on the old one.
  7. Does anyone know if the Gammorean Guard mold is going to be regular plastic like the Ewoks or a rubber piece like Watto?
  8. I hope so because I can never bring myself to pay S@H's ridiculous shipping prices on top of Australia's inflated RRP. Be nice if Lego releases a non-chrome TC-14 down the line so we can still own the character without the chrome version losing value for those who have it.
  9. Don't forget the main reason why the Star Wars battlepacks come with the small vehicles and turrets is because Hasbro won't allow them to sell the figures on their own. Lord of the Rings shouldn't have that problem.
  10. Be nice if some of the Marvel sets started showing up next week before the sales end.
  11. Its supposed to be a different shade of skin, like how the new lego dinosaurs are darker on top but have a lighter skin colour underneath.
  12. I think there's a high chance he'll be coming next year. 2008 - Ventress 2009 - Count Dooku, Hondo, Nute Gunray 2010 - General Grievous, Cad Bane 2011 - Aurra Sing, Savage Opress, Classic Ventress 2012 - Pre Viszla Each year Lego always releases at least one new minifigure of the shows most prominant villains. Besides Maul the only other options for new characters are Mother Talzin and Young Boba Fett - and Boba is more likely to be part of an AOTC set than a CW one next year due to the film being re-released. Either that or Lego starts moving onto the standalone villains (Trench, Tamson, Krell etc) or gives us variations of previously released villains (Season 4 Bane/Ventress/Vizsla, Asassin Aurra etc) But I think Maul is most likely
  13. Where did you hear that? I'd imagine Obi-Wan will just be the ROTS with Boromir's hairpiece instead of the combover one.
  14. Out of the Avengers I voted for Iron Man, but the Thor minifigure comes pretty close. Overall though I had to go with Magneto. I always wanted X-Men sets as a kid when the 90s cartoon was aired and while Wolverine and Deadpool are also excellent, Magneto is a perfect representation of what I could have hoped for.
  15. I know I've said this before but they should've given Obi-Wan the same hairpiece that Hawkeye uses. Both the hairline and color look a lot more accurate than the classic male piece in dark orange. And I second the comment regarding Satine in the Mando Fighter. Wasted opportunity if you ask me, especially considering her pink adventure gear wouldn't even need any new molds.
  16. After seeing the new Avengers pics, its a real shame Lego didn't give Padawan Obi-Wan the same hairpiece as Hawkeye. It would have been much better than the classic male hair in orange.
  17. I'm not a big fan of the cheekbones on Black Widow either. And don't you just love she has the same smirk on her face as Catwoman, Wonderwoman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy? Still the other characters look good. Ironman's helmet looks a lot better with the printing.
  18. I'd like to see both versions of Geonosis Padme released - one for the droid factory and another for the arena. Hopefully they won't get lazy like they did with the Clone Wars figure and actually give her a new hairpiece this time. A new bun piece would surely get plenty of use not only for Geonosis Padme but also TPM Padme, Clone Wars Padme and even other themes like City.
  19. I really want minifigs of Cyborg Maul and Mother Talzin. Besides Boba they are the only recurring villains left on the show that haven't been made into lego yet. Nightsister Ventress would be pretty cool though.
  20. Thor doesn't need one though. The piece he uses was specifically made for the Prince of Persia line and when you compare the real life Thor and Dastan (and Aragorn and Boromir) there really isn't much difference in their hairstyles to warrent a new mold.
  21. The peg leg has feet Who's really going to have their Cyborg Darth Maul sitting down though? I think thats more of a problem for the new Amidala than Cyborg Maul.
  22. It makes sense with Lego's trend of giving us a new CW villain each year, and out of the recurring antagonists there aren't many options besides Maul left to be made. Just young Boba and Mother Talzin I believe. It would be cool if a CW Maul came with actual cyborg legs. I think the peg leg on the CM Blacktron villain would work well. Just give Maul two of them instead of one.
  23. Yoda looks awesome. Still wish Obi-Wan had a better hairpiece though.
  24. That video really, REALLY hates people with slow internet connections Hope it won't be long before someone gets it up on youtube..
