Ta bloke! Not as cool as the one from the 1966 tv show but I could do this one easily with what I have. It's a big blocky car which suits my building style.

As part of my Scooby Doo MOC I dredged through the old cartoons and what not and found the blue batmobile from the 70's cartoons and figured I'd try and make it out of all the blue lego I never use (most of it is chewed and sun faded from the 80's...) so. Depends if they re use this ship in later episodes. Maybe, maybe not. Fingers crossed. The design uses the old 9492 wings (probably the best set to own and MOD) and the new tie advanced cockpit. The new force awakens tie has smaller wings which would suit better, but the grey wing bars look better i think. At least on the outside. Mainly used bright light orange and dark orange - dark red would be better given people refer to dark orange as POOorange. The yellow dishes on the back are rare. Thanks man! Thai fighters?!

Yep. Bought an 8 by 8 dome in clear. I was thinking two of these for the windshield in trans clear: http://alpha.brickli...page?P=6059#T=C you could make it bigger with one of these - http://alpha.brickli...page?P=2571#T=C - but I think given the cockpit is a little smaller than the front dome it works. SNOT technique. The interesting part is getting the angles to work. I was playing around with pythagorean triples. Some of the bigger ones with extra rigid technic supports (side by side technic bricks joined with pins and plates above and below to increase strength) and car tracks: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=42942#T=C and http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=42936#T=C I was also working in light blueish grey as it I have more of it and I prefer it for star wars.
