First sneek peak at LDD 4.0
Shroud replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
After playing the beta of Lego Universe Ive realized that the game is just too basic at the moment to even use models that could be imported. You can make your own house but it seems that the only building you can do and use are the templates that the missions give you to make. I haven't played through every level and they could add more later but this seems to be the impression. -

I hope they have a mirror tool so you can select objects and create a mirror image of them. would make life sooo much easier -

Rocket Shark Chariot Final Level I took your advice Superkalle and made it less fragile. I re-made the first two levels so they were a lot more stable. Even if they decide not to use the submissions it was fun making them -

Yea i was hoping for chains and they would be on all of these models. @Superkalle: Being level one model its designed to be built on top of by kids, the next levels will strengthen it. I did ask the same question myself though and emailed it to Jacob, the person taking the submissions for LDD. Easy fixed though Rocket Surfer -

LDD WIP (Work In Progress)
Shroud replied to NecroViolator's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Thats cool i will. After looking at them again Ive realized that its not just a matter of resizing as the proportions makes it difficult. Instead we can keep the other images as thumbnails and Ill make sure that any future pics are the correct size. This way the re-sized pics can still be viewed by clicking on them. -
If we were going to get a Steampunk theme, what would you want?
Shroud replied to tchuk-norst's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Steam Powered robots would be excellent as well as fighter planes! -

Heh the infermary will follow later working on the bridge at the moment. What i would love is if LDD could export the models into Universe when its starts so i could have a real carrier in space....would rock. -

That saucer looks cool Here`s some more screens of the mocs Ive been making for my capital ship (Image intensive). They are all in progress at the moment and some use the road plates made transparent in LU mode. The elevator and transfer system function properly as well Bridge Upper Level Fighter transfer system (Takes landed fighters from deck to repair bay and launch docks) Elevator System (Takes crew to multiple parts of the ship) Mess Hall (Seats 400 people and has a clear floor with an aquarium underneath) Bridge viewing window (Just started and will house 2 levels of bridge) -

I like that the new space police is out soon too the limo would look great in LDD. And i agree with the fact a lot of the new sets have less studs showing which is something i like to do as well, its kinda like blending when painting real world objects.- 5,046 replies
