Duh. It's called bungie jumping. As to this, considering the grammar, punctuation, and spelling, it was probably written by someone young, or someone illiterate (or who over uses chat-speak). If the assumption of the young person, it may not be bad if that's the level the're at. However, the price is ridiculous and deserves to be laughed at and mocked.

Say, do all buildings have to utilize Blockitecture? As in, a doll house? And based on your rules, could one use grays? I was thinking on doing the classic Lead Soldiers in their unpainted forms.

If you could live in a LEGO set...
Norrington replied to Dovchenko's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Captian's Qaurters in the Black Seas Barracuda. It's the only pirate ship with a complete cabin (and to have all it's window's with panes of Lattice.) Though, it would be flying different flags, if I was there. -
Interesting. I built a couple of soldiers to your design (except they have backpacks and regular muskets). This is a very interesting concept, but it may be a bit hard to pull off a real structure like that.

Heath Ledger Joker *V.1 Finished*
Norrington replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That looks great. The decal could be better. Just like all faces in the Indiana Jones theme, it looks like his face is based off the Bruce Whane face. I'd for something more detailed like stain boy's. It has the worn makeup, and honestly, also has the vest. -
Oh, think y _________o __________u ___________r ____________' _____________e__________________________________________preTTy ________________________________________________________cle\/er, ______________________________________________________________huh, Punk? -E.Email Cummings But seriously, we should have some sort of filter that automatically reformats posts with poor grammar and spelling into proper English before they are posted (not spell check, like the A$$hole = MEGABLOK. A filter.) EDIT: Post corrected my purposley bad formating. Fixed that.

Agreed. The problem is that the internet allows you to be anonyomous, so kids will just get on, and start saying all sorts of rude things that would never other wise be tolerated. Have you ever read comments on a Youtube video? It's all illiterates calling eachother gay and telling eachother to "go f@*&" eachother. It's probably going to ruin this generation.

Which figurehead in the pirate theme do you like most?
Norrington replied to Dreamweb's topic in LEGO Pirates
I seem to have voted allready, but that appears to have been lng enough ago that I forgot. Regardless of whatever I voted, I'd say that that I don't really even like figure heads. In reality, only merchants and warships of the 17th and early 18th (when we were still getting ungainly giants like the Sovereign of the Seas, etc.) Navy ships were more likely to have something along the lines of their nation's coat of arms. From the Victory: So, I'd say ither no figure head, or something small and unobtrusive like the CC. -
Which pieces would you like to see in future pirate sets?
Norrington replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Pirates
No, but the Dwarven mine features a brickbuilt one. That set is lovely. -
Duh. That's because dry ice only makes fog. Though honestly, this probably doesn't mean anything. The pirates are allways on something or other. The LEGO store at the Mall of America (close to where I live) has coffe cups. They've been sold there I as long as I remember. They have been redisigned more than once, and all incarnations have Capt. Redbeard on them. But it also has forestmen, cowboys, etc.
-
Well, I'd assume that it would be launched from one ship, and use that mean looking saw to s=cut a hole in the side of the other. It looks good, by the way.
-
No, keep them. Henry Jones ( or whatever) has them.
-
I loved the battle scene. Can't wait for the next issue. I'm not sure about using Native Americans as elves, though.

Pirates isn't the same as the POTC movie or better, (actually, it isn't that good scince they added Jack Sparrow and the lot. I now avoid the version at WDW, due to it being horribly botched [it's missing a lot of Disneyland original scenes] in both it's original form and this recent rehab.) POTC weren't even that great movie. I can deal with unrealistice things in movies. The skeleton pirates I could deal with. But fish pirates who control and collosial relative of the squid? And then that fish pirate is the slave of a historical British Trang Company? That is just too contrived. The original theme was good because it invovled the real owners of the caribbean, the Imperials. It was, to a certain degree, realistic. Sure, all the pirate captains had hooks, eye-patches, hooks, and bicornes with skull and cross bones on it, most ships had massive skulls and stripes on their sails, but were they fighting fish pirates and skeletons? No. They were fighting the Imperial forces that were dominating the Caribbean. Like the real pirates. Of course, real pirates pillaged, but most Imperial ships had treasure chests, and there was the Cutter form the IMTP. Sure, if a pirate theme is released again, sure, I'd like to see whalers, etc. I'd like to see giant squids, whales, and more sea life, but not fish pirates. More Imperials, but not skeleton pirates, more pirates, but not undead or aqautice pirates. (I know in another thread I advocated Under-sea Steam Punk pirates, but that was silly because I know LEGO would never do something that awsome. IN short, I think the 2nd & 3rd POTC movies sucked.

I usually take parts off as I need them, and very few I keep together forever. Some fall apart or something on accident, and I sadly never put them together. This happened to my few original pirate sets, Elderado Fortress, Bounty Boat, Harbour Sentry, and Cannon Cove. I like to keep them together, and would like to restore them, but as the parts are currenttly used in MOCs that I plan to keep together for n extended period of time, that's going to be difficult.

Harvey "Two-Face" Dent *Finished*
Norrington replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
WOW. That looks good, but now you've spoiled the movie for me ( I'm going to see it tommorow.) SO you burnt it, eh? I'm assuming you used a lighter. Looks very good and acurate, based on some images I've seen. -
This port has got what all Mysterious Myths and Legendary Legends of Ports dream of: Blurry Photographic Evidence http://hrwiki.org/index.php/myths_and_legends Great port. It looks to be a sprawling city scapes. and caves!

It's a small beam on the front of a ship where the anchor is hung off of.
-
Great. I was never crazy about that style of tumble home. I prefer the kind with tall slopes, like you now seem to be doing. I think you should really do cat heads for your anchors, at any rate. Can't wait to see her rigged up properly.
-
lots of sets had back walls. Just about all ships had a complete cabin (besides the Imperial ships and the RBR). Eldorado Fortress had back walls. They weren't walls, more two-brick high walls with arches. Same goes for the small room with a tower. I can't say for the Imperial Trading Post, as I never owned it, but from the instructions, most walls were complete.
