2005 is a great year for Lego, but I must agree with Jay. Lego could do so much with the city theme. A Cafe, bookstore, parking garage, post office, new gas stations, parks, etc... The possibilities are endless. They could also do a ton of things with the train theme. Model trains are still very popular and it is a multi-billion dollar industry. Lego could make DCC controllers, RCS type controlled rail lights and crossings, light-up streetlight and RCS controlled street signals. They could also make bridge kits, tunnels, and expand the track selection to include at least 3 different types of curve track and other specialty track pieces. Oh, and let us not forget about the fully functional round house. Just imagine how great it would be if Lego stepped up the City and train themes. You would be able to build one nice train display.
