  1. The funny thing about the skeleton is it never had a head. The position they put it in on the celing was too low so they never put a head on it. We always joked about how stupid it looked. All they had to do is reposition it. ;)
  2. Lol. The thought has come to me but I may have to fight off the Disney mouse patrol. ;)
  3. Yeah, it is not like Lego didn't have 500 tie sets or anything. |-/ ;) Plus all you have to do is upset me or Vader and you will have some ties flying your way. :P ;)
  4. LOL, yeah it does. :D ;)
  5. Yeah and it pains me to know that most of them are going to the crusher.
  6. That is the only reason why I bought it, otherwise it is just not worth it.
  7. Thinking about it, I think it was "Coke: Do The Real Thing" :/
  8. Yeah, that is what I was talking about. The set itself is good, but not for $70 or in your case $80 US. For $70 you are expecting so much more. This set should have been priced around $50 US. Lego would sell a lot more. |-/
  9. Did you buy it at full price? Were you just a little disappointed? I don't think it was worth the $70 US. I paid $35 for it because I got it on employee 50% off day but would have been pissed if I had paid $70.
  10. Agreed Vader. I just buy sets that I like. I don't care what classification they are in. I'm just happy that we are getting the Viking sets. :|
  11. What is your favorite type of peanut butter? :P ;)
  12. :oo :oD Nice!
  13. I don't think you are correct. We can all see that Lego is stepping it up a level or four this year. I think you will have a 90% probability that Lego will make new beards. I think by the end of 05 we will all be a little surprised by what Lego has achieved. You can only loose money for so long until you have to open your eyes and really work to solve the problem. I think Lego had that wakeup call and now they are ready to work.
  14. Sorry Vader, I forgot to poke holes in the shrink-wrap. 8-| ;)
  15. Hahaha, I have asked Lego corp. if I could have him but they said no. Most of these figs will sadly see a garbage crusher. Lego destroys most of them. They don't want the employees to have them because they are worth a ton of money (Jango has sold for as high as $30,000 US) and most are in poor condition from sitting around for 8 years. Jango is in really bad condition. We have had to put long screws in both his arms because kids kept ripping them off while trying to shake his hand. I would love to take him into my home, fix him, and make him part of the family. ;)
  16. That is a great question. Lets just hope that it is not old stock that they are trying to clear out of the warehouse. The new silver paint is ok but it is silver paint, not chrome. Lego needs to keep the true chrome colors.
  17. More pics have been posted to my gallery (pics 26-40)... Click here to view :D
  18. The Tie Collection is also much smaller than expected... This pic compares it to a normal 16oz box of cereal... I don't know how many of you own this set but to me it was a bigger disappointment than I had expected.
  19. Since the Tie Collection is the worst selling set (ever?), just save your cash and wait until they hit the bargin bin. ;)
  20. Well that is what happens when you live in a country that is across the Atlantic. ;)
  21. Thats ok jedijeff, I know. Please continue to post more if you find more and we will go from there. :-D ;)
  22. I can't wait. This is going to be a great DVD. Hopefully they will have an extended version of the Cars trailer. *satis* BTW: Thanks for the pic TT
  23. I love Ties, I just don't need anymore. I also can't understand why Lego keeps releasing Tie sets. I am getting tired of building them as well.
  24. Thanks for the link jedijeff but these have been posted here before. I know you didn't know because you are new, just a heads up. ;)
