A welcome site to the weary traveler is comfortable and clean lodging, and in Nocturnus, this can be especially difficult to find. That is why Lord and Madame Darkmuzzle have established the Wolf's Den - a cozy Inn and tavern located on one of the main routes through the heart of Nocturnus The Wolf's Den has been in operation for the last 30 years, and has become quite popular with merchants and politicians as well as the common wayfarer. It's hearth is always warm and inviting in the coldest of weather, and they always have a haunch of meat or thick stew on the fire. This late in the fall, the roads are bustling with activity before the last snow. Here we see a sausage merchant on his pig wagon hurrying to a local sausage fair. Traveling in the opposite direction is a local baker with a cart heavily laden with breads and pastries. She is heading to the local market to sell her wares as two local militiamen look on. Demurg Kwai, one of the few remaining orks from the old tribes of the black peaks. typically these orks are weak, hence the dying numbers, but Kwai was different. Kwai trained himself, taking himself to the utmost extremes of physical combat, mastering his agility, focus and strength. once he had this accomplished he began to raid the small ork clans in the dark chasms and from the abyss began to form an army. through this process he has united many clans of ork under one ruler. He dwells in the swampland by black peak, he controls all in his realm.
