Yes. But Suicide squad characters are owned by DC Comics (Warner Bros.) Lego has licence with them, so its natural they will do the characters, albeit in comic version. On the other side, Deadpool is not owned by Marvel and there is a word that Marvel intentionaly orders toy manufacturers to not make Deadpool toys in order to bring more popularity and sales to the heroes/villains that they actualy own; ie Iron Man, Cap, Thor,... IMO if Deadpool was entirely Marvel owned, and considering the popularity movies bring, they would arrange with LEGO dozen times to release another set, yeah in comic version but still. However, since they dont, they just dont want him around at all. Marvel also decided to change the whole story with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver and their father, just because Magneto isnt one of Marvel-pwned characters anymore. But thats something else, however its very clear that Marvel doesnt want Deadpool stuff and there is possibly mutual consent between Marvel and Lego to not publish this character. They didnt even include him in the second video game of Marvel superheroes (he was in the first one).

Thanks, I kinda expected LEGO wont do movie based set, its obvious, but generaly they could make comic based one. Althrough at the moment I guess any kind of reference to Deadpool set would automaticaly connect it to the movie, regarldess if its not based on it. After checking abit, its not realy about the movie being r-rated, but rights. Disney owns Marvel and Fox (Deadpool), but Marvel doesnt own Fox (Deadpool), thats why they are trying to push on LEGO to release more of their owned heroes and ditch Pool. Same with other toy designers. Their idea is to force kids into buying Marvel owned heroes, Deadpool stuff wouldnt even be on shelves and people would have no other choice. As far I know Disney owns Marvel and Fox, and Lego having licence with Disney, but this doesnt mean they can use the rights for everything. Fox and Marvel might be owned by disney, but they have their own board decisions and if Fox decide to keep Deadpool out of Disney movies, he will be out. Disney might own Fox, but they still cant use the rights without consent. However it makes compromises much easier still. Same with Sony and Spiderman. Sony gave some rights to Marvel to use Spiderman in MCU, but all approvals, production control,...still go through Sony. That is, I would love to see another Deadpool set in the future, but as long these R-rated movies getting so much attention and hype, Lego just wont do it. Even the comic version.

I think Lego should just make UCS version of Black Pearl. By far the most famous ship in Potc series and fan favourite...2000+ piece BP would make me buy it instantly and probably many many other fans. Its understandable that Lego is making snowspeeder and b wing and such sets in Sw series, when most famous ones like Millenium Falcon, Star Destroyer etc have all been made already. But when it comes to POTC, it makes no sense from Lego to release such ship, when obviously most popular one (BP) doesnt exist in UCS scale. Its nice built ship overall, but wont convince me to buy it and probably majority of fans. That said Jack fig is incredibly brilliant.

That means we will actualy get that Lotr tower, Ucs slave I, Ucs probe droid,...or its just stuff that will never see mass-production?

I am pretty sure that next year we will get Jabba's sail barge. Jabbas palace, Rancor set, Sarlacc set, give me that idea. Possibly UCS. Cant wait to see more news.

This is no MOC or a project of it...but I just got an idea of possible very good Star Wars UCS set (and hope some people of TLG see it). I was thinking of this ship: In UCS LEGO size. I see this would be possible, the ship wouldnt have more than 3000 bricks and would look very accurate. Also, it was previously released only as CW set, 3 years ago. Lego could include Count Dooku (flesh, non CW looking) minifig, 3 magna guards and his personal droid-pilot. The design of ship offers very interesting build with lots of curved brown bricks. However, the sail would only be attached to ship (with easy removal) and would not include realistic mechanism to deploy it or hide it. Just connected with few pins that can be removed when in landing mode. Interior would be simple and overall, such ship doesnt need a size of MF, but more of Imperial shuttle. I must admit, I am a big Dooku fan and would love to see his ship in UCS size. What do you think?

Anyone knows if there will be dark knight rises sets released in summer? Please answer. No pictures yet, but some people said there will be TDKR sets in May/summer while ago, but I am not sure. If anyone knows...

I really hope LEGO will make some sort of UCS Hobbit house/hole. I think the size is posible, around 2500 pieces max and you get very detailed hole, I'm sure. Lots of green and brown+tan, trees and interior(beds, dinning room, working room, windows, pictures on walls etc)/exterior(lots of green grass plates-rough terrain, benches, fence, flowers, maybe small lake or river). Few minifigs (Bilbo, Gandalf, Frodo and maybe another hobbit). Price would be around 250eur, I pay that any time for good, minifig scale hobbit house. I'm sure many would buy such set, include LOTR (non LEGO) fans, just because of building such set. And possibility of such set? Definately possible, price, piece amount, size, building technics, after all, it's just a house with green roof We have seen big set from SW and HP, I think there will be LOTR/hobbit big set soon and I sure they wont make UCS helm's deep or any of the towers, which gives hobbit house big chances. I would also like such set, because it would be very peaceful and natural with bunch of hobbits and great interior details. What do you think?

From my point of view, I would likely to see Black pearl in USC form, cuz it is best ship in POTC overall. Always survives and apears again...Good old clasic design. But flying dutchman isnt that bad, i hope i could chanege it into black pearl somehow, if it comes out of course. the price would be ridiculus high, at least i hope they would make it as best ship in lego ever. like full interior, enough cannons (more than four on each side), captain cabin in its best and so on...i guess i'll have to dream on, because i'm not sure about this set at all...

are these all the sets coming out in january or there will be marvel sets too (in january I mean)?

Hi! After some building pause, I decided to pick bricks once more. This time, I extended Galladorn castle, removed, changed and added some things. Now, the roofs are all the same color and some things look more realistic. I added a litle more of brown color, and in all, the castle has more powerfull look. Anyway I spent about 300 hours building this, about 15,000 bricks used (lot of bricks are used for interior and the fact that all buildings are modular). Started in February 2010, small project turned into much bigger. The castle serves to protect Lord's family from many enemies this land has in dangerous times. It's located secretly in nature, far away from cities. There is only one road that leads to the castle. The fortress is well protected, with massive walls and several brave knights and sharp archers. The lord Daghotir has defended himself wery well, but just in case, there are several secret passages for quick escape if needed. Also, under the castle, there is a secret cave, used to store weapons and train knights. Lord is known to have small, but deadly army. Here are the begginings of secret organisation, that even the king doesn't know for it. In the castle, there are also prision cells, storages, sleeping quarters, lord's rooms, kitchen,...One house is still under construction. So, what's new: The Mill and the stable were removed, but I extended the main ''rocky'' base and build a solidified house on. The house on one side is still under construction. Also, some plants and trees have been added and road in front of castle. The cart is also different than the original version and I added a new (more castle looking) ladder on top of tower. The elevator/lift now looks more realistic. Some minor changes of interior and thats it. I think that castle now serves more to its main intentions then before, because now its more heavily defended. I still have some plans to make with the castle, but not now (I have no time). Check the full gallery bellow :) (the first 22 pictures are new, exception is the 20th picture). UPDATE!!! Check first post. New pictures have been added. I replaced that ''clean'' road in front of the castle and replaced it with more ''dirty'' one on side. Some more roads and tons of grass everywhere. Hope you like change, the castle is now finaly finished. After more than a year...

Hello! I'm not new here, but I haven't introduced myself yet. Well, I come from Slovenia, small but beautiful country in South Europe (near Italy). I spend my whole life with LEGO bricks, but my greatest moments are still evening memories with my brother, when we were playing with castles. Usually I build MOCs, I'm not colector of builded sets, because I more prefer to build my own. I'm 16 yrs old and I'm visiting Gimnasium in Ljubljana (capital city). Hi! This time, I decided to build MOC on Castle theme. I started in February 2010 and finished few days ago, in August. I wanted to build smallest castle, but then it turned into much bigger, than I thought first. There was used around 20,000 bricks, 240 hours of work and creation includes allmost 100 minifigs. Castle is builded modular for easy to look inside. It will be probably shown at our Brickshow, KockeFest 5 in October, this year. Pics: All buildings have fully and functional interior. Exception is windmill. Instead it has Power function (with remote control)elements. The wheel actually rotates. Portcullis also goes up and down (not PF). Sure, I didn't building all the time. Mostly in July and Februar-March. About 6 weeks of building, each day 7-8 hours. Pics: about 4-5 hours in one day.
