Figs, Creator, Pirates, City, Star Wars, etc, for sale!
Edmond Dantes replied to Edmond Dantes's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Glad to hear you received the set and it wasn't damaged. Updated the list with the most recent sales. -
Wow, just stunning! Edit: His Belvoir Castle, Tanis and Krak des Chevaliers MOCs are even more amazing imo!
-
Create a want list and then search the want list by shop. This will give you a list of which shop has the most lots of what you want, as well as the most unique lots (the same piece in both used and new condition will be two lots, but only one unique lot).

Yes, I do ship internationally. I'd have to package it up and weigh it to be 100% certain, but I'd estimate $15-$18.55 for first class shipping to Ireland (USPS.com states $18.55 for first class, 2 pound package and I'm sure I can get the weight under 2 pounds). If you don't care about the box, it will definitely be cheaper. -
It's awesome this was NASA's idea! That's very cool.

Indeed and thank you! It just happened to work out that I'd be up near you in a couple weeks, so I'll bring everything with me. I sent you a PM regarding the Taj Mahal. -

Updated the list due to additions and sales. Will be adding another 10 sets or so to the for sale list in the next couple weeks. Just need to complete inventory on them and verify they are complete. -
Pirate set collection For sale
Edmond Dantes replied to asavage's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I apologize for hijacking this thread, but I can't pm chuckie8646 because he's too new. Chuckie, if you're interested in older Pirates sets, I have a bunch for sale here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58015 -
BYW = Big Yellow Wall I believe. That is, a monochromatic wall, no variation, etc.

The LegoDr has to win some sort of "thread necro" award.

I've always wanted this part in black and white, as I thought it would look great in "tudor" style buildings. They only come in red or yellow though - and they are very expensive, especially the red. So, in short, your solution is brilliant! Very well done.
-
Lego40k and I are talking about 7187-1: Escape from the Dragon's Prison. Are you talking about 7947-1: Prison Tower Rescue? If so, I have four of the latter. Meijer had a sale a couple months ago on them - I posted a while back in this thread regarding that purchase.
-
I have three (going to get more in the future) - it's by far the best of the new line, price-wise. Fully armored knight + horse barding + three other minifigs + other stuff, all for only $20? Yes please.
-
Huh, interesting. If you go to my original link, the mounted knights I purchased have all the pieces pictured. So, he had more knights and horses for the auction you purchased from, but not with the head armor for the horse. I understand now - I actually did end up winning one of those "10 minifig" auctions a while back - I think it was from that same guy you posted a link to.

You're welcome. My total was $133.78 before shipping, so I paid $10.42 in shipping. A tad expensive, but I assume that includes insurance and delivery confirmation. The 5615's do NOT come with a box (the only downside imo), but that reduces the shipping cost, so there is a benefit. The last I checked he had over 400 of the 5615's for sale. Go to it! What 10 minifig lots are you talking about? I'm curious now. The best part of my purchase is I paid for it entirely with eBay bucks from last quarter (sold a bunch of stuff, then bought a bunch of stuff on eBay and had over $300 in eBay bucks due to the 10% back special a couple months ago), so actually it was free! Instant army. Edit: And what did you mean by horse helmet? The mounted knight's horse has barding and armor for its head.
-
12x 5615 The Knight 8x Crownie minifigs with shield and axe 10x Mounted Knight with full armor and horse barding from 7093 Skeleton Tower Those prices are pretty good imho (used $144.20 in eBay bucks) and shipping is combined. Cheap 5615's if anyone is interested...I'll get the link up in a sec. Mounted Knight 5615 The Knight Crownie

The OP was definitely telling the truth. Just go here: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/LEGO_Wiki, type prototype in the Search Brickipedia box and scroll down to the Castle section. All the pics are right there. The OP did nothing wrong - he found these in the public domain and cannot be blamed for whomever uploaded them to Brickipedia.

I have one - and it's still MISB. It was on sale at least twice ($350 and then $375 when I bought it) from S@H, so I can't imagine Lego would reissue it. I kick myself constantly for not buying two (it was limit two during the sale when I purchased mine). My wife mentions selling it from time to time, but I just can't - I REALLY want to build it. I just don't have the space right now.
-
Although I can understand the angst, how is it any different from Bricklink? $1300 for a MISB 10179? And that's the cheapest price out there? It's absurd. I do understand the argument regarding auctions and BINs, but people are going to do what they have to for money these days. Lots of people are out of work. If they can make a living doing this, more power to them. It sucks for us though, that's for sure.

Fair warning - these sets are going to cost you a VERY pretty penny. Good luck in your search!
