  1. Hi guys! Another Warcraft creation here; this time it’s for the Orcs. Please note, this was done in an hour or so, so it’s still very rough; progress is still being made . My pictures are a bit blurry as well. This vehicle's catapult action works like the one found in the Dwarves Miners set. Since Orcs like to base their equipment, vehicles, and buildings built off animal symbolisms, mine is loosely based off an elephant. The ribs are on the side and the tusks are recreated on behalf of the Orc's effort. Black jugs between the wheels are barrels of flammable substance which is drained by the tap. The Orcs then light the white paper rolled on the sticks (white cone with brown cane at the end of the catapult), and lastly rolling the big flammable rock on the end of the catapult. Note: WIP, Enjoy!
  2. Hey there! After building the Undead Meat Wagon :skull: nearly a week ago, I've decided to oppose that hideous vehicle of evil with the holy powers of the humans (Crownies). So after a few hours voila! What we have here is my version of the siege engine from Warcraft. Though very different from the original, I tried to keep within the color scheme by using a limited amount of yellow and blue highlights. The tank's armament includes 4 light machine cannons decorating the hull, 2 barrage missile launchers on the upper back, and a heavy duty siege cannon to yellow troll pants. Again I'm not really good with castle, but the more I build within this theme, the more confident I feel. Hope you enjoy! HOnk HoNk Front Level View BAMNN The fuse is lit.. Back Side

    REVIEW: 7079 Drawbridge Defense

Thank you for the awesome review. This is very exciting stuff. I really appreciate how Lego is adding more variations of females. BTW the drawbridge mechanism is also found in 7249 XXL Mobile Construction Crane. This set is a winner in my book!

    [MOC] Predator

Awesome! I like the old grey for the face while the rest is in bley. Maybe 2 dark bley cheese slopes for the thighs (clips). All in all, very creative and deadly!

Very cute! I really like em

    MOC: Church vitrage vignette

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your secret with us... muahahaha . I also like the holy beam of light just above your stain glass. Nice job!

My new Jedi and his speeder bike

Is he Jabba's skinny cousin? The speeder really captures the feel for what would be a Tatooine theme. Very creative and nicely done. Now as for your jedi, that combination is something I would've never have thought of. Very clever and unique! Keep it up!

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

Thanks for looking guys . In response to legoman's question: I am also a collector so many multiples of sets are peacefully stored away. Sadly, all those Chrome Vaders were found/ bought before the recent release . The battlepack pieces are thrown in with my "work" pieces that I MOC with, so no I do not have one built imperial dropship in my collection . I do however have all my bigger ships intact. Unfortunately they are also stored to some extent. I just simply do not have enough room to display all of them (plus I hate dust). Lastly if there were “fake chrome Threepios" out there, I'd be busy collecting them and displaying them right away; too bad huh...

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

Hey guys! I posted 2 weeks ago blabbering how I'll take pictures of my army. Well today's lighting was good, so here you go! Please note that my armies are not yet complete. I still have my droid army and clone army to post in the future. Enjoy! (Note: a lot of my trooper helmets are misaligned because I store them without the helmets pressed on. Just my obsession of keeping these guys new and in top shape.) The main arrival From the top From the back Another overhead shot The Stormies The Shadow Troopers The AT-ST Pilots Took me Forever... arg Left over stuff I also left out a couple: AT-AT Drivers, Imperial Droids, and Multiples of Figures... Now... for the Rebel Army. Sorry didn't put in the pilots or the heroes. That’s for next time! Thanks for looking!

    Misprints

Hey guys. Sorry for reviving a dead thread but I just took some time to take pictures of my misprinted figure. Just wanted to share...

    MOC: Orc Seige Catapult

The black tires that don't touch the floor aren't suppose to be tires. They are fuel/drums. That’s why one of them has a tap on the side. The Orcs use this to saturate the wood and rocks they use to catapult the enemy.
  12. This is my first MOC; something I built on a long and boring afternoon. Hope you guys like it! Trooper Appreciation day comes once a year aboard the Death Star. It is a holiday of gift giving to show well deserved gratitude and appreciation for the hard life of a measly Stormtrooper.

    Gone Fishin'

Wow, this is an incredibly creative MOC. With so many MOCs built SNOT style these days, this totally refreshes the idea for what an ideal Lego creation can be!

    WIP: Orc fortress

Fantastic first MOC! It looks like a set that dominates in terms of playability. I would recommend like what BlueBard said, making it more chaotic looking. I am currently trying to build an Orc themed MOC myself and find it really difficult to capture the perfect Warcraft Orc feel. I would suggest making your fortress higher, more brown, and bulking up that catapult to the size of my Warcraft vehicle MOCs. All in all, I am impressed with your creativity and hope you continue to astonish and amaze.

    MOC: Trooper Appreciation Day

Nope, I wouldn't design a bike where mr. stormie would have to seperate himself when riding and build himself back when arriving at his date. It is a very snug fit and with the the vroom handles held, he's not going to fly anyway when you swoosh the thing. The bike is made that when getting the stormie in or out, the front steering section enlongates based off the 2 black bars seen in the front. So, the only thing holding the front with the back is the robot hand clips holding the black bars. Therefore, you can even steer the front a bit, though I did not orginally intend that.

    I'm, uh, new.

Welcome and glad to have you aboard. Sucks that you guys live so far from Lego stores, but hurray for online shopping! I live around New York City and it sucks here too; all the good sets are picked off shelves, taxes are high, sales are rare. I do most of my shopping online. Anyways, hope you enjoy it here.

    Yellowing of stormies

I've never used meth, but a little bleach worked for my white pieces. You just have to be careful not to let them sit in too long; the pieces start deteriorating if left overnight. I too have kept some white pieces away from possible sunlight, but humidity eventually saps the dust on, leaving a yellow residue over time (which can be washed off with warm water and light soap). As for my old stormies, I just keep them stored away in a cabinet, away from any light, moisture, and they are still white as new. When my display is done, I will keep it covered by a UV proof plexi glass case, illuminated by artificial lighting.
  18. Hey guys! As a child I was a big fan of the classic castle series, but as the castle theme lost it's magical touch , I converted to the space/ Star Wars theme. However, being a fan of Warcraft and fantasy, the new castle line has once again captured my interest. Here up is my first castle theme MOC... Enjoy! Critiques welcome. What we have here is a 3 wheel Undead vehicle known as the Meat Wagon Carrier (inspired by the Warcraft Ground Unit). :skull: It is a combination of meat, bones, wood, metal, and fear. The primary application of this vehicle is to catapult diseased meat behind enemy lines; infecting the enemy, rendering live units instantly decaying into heaps of bones. The secondary application is made possible by the 6 razor sharp wheel saws in the front. As enemy units get churned up by it, they slowly get digested into the stomach of the vehicle. It is the stomach where the dead units will stay until battle, when the necromancer calls upon dead bodies to summon Undead skellies. Functions: Wheel turning will turn blades in the front Pull the red pin and a trail of bodies will be left behind as the vehicle advances Catapult launches meat The tongue keeps units in stomach (prison) Overview Ready to Fire Fireee How would you like to become sloppy joe? The Tongue: Let me get a taste of your flesh! (sorry picture area too dark - if you notice carefully, {with the tongue up} beneath the Tongue sticking out is an arch and a ramp that victims fall into. What it leads to is the stomach. Pull the pin (blurred ramp behind drops) and have the necromancer summon your army! The back view - here we get a better shot at the stomach (prison) and the third wheel. Thanks for looking!

    MOC: Trooper Appreciation Day

Thanks for all the positive comments . Glad you all like it. Aramor, you can use the idea however you want; if my creativity inspired you, know that, that indeed is encouraging and a very big compliment to a MOCer like myself. Thanks..

    The Penguin's Arkham Asylum.

This thing is huge and I really like it. Your creative story telling and selection of pictures made me feel that it was a lot bigger then it was. Were Bane's arms molded by yourself? Or just painted? I like the statues of the guys holding the balls on their back; true to the old movies. Did you leave the dust and spiderwebs on your Legos to create an old/scary effect? Although I really like the overall setup of the rooms and floors, I felt that there is still more untapped potential to your creation. Perhaps adding some more details like vegetation on the outside, books and cart in the library, floor elements, stairs, and unique items in cells (like a plant in Ivy's room) will make this grand piece stand out more.

Starving yourself to get a set?

Don't know if this is overboard, but everything becomes a conversion to me when I'm set on collecting minifigures. For example, on my craze to collect Stormtroopers (each $2.50-$3.00), if I was hungry and there was a sandwich for 6 bucks, I'd think that if I save on that, wait another 45 minutes and eat at home, thats 2 more stormies recruited to my army. That is kind of the case for anything I'm crazy about, including gifts for my girlfriend. Yikes! Nuts huh?

    Decal Wish List

Thank you for the catwoman face! Great job for being a first. I really like it, though the real one has a smirk and yours looks kind of pissed. The attitude suits her well. Appreciate it!

Obi Wan's Bull Rancor Class Airspeeder

Very Cool. My favorite detail is the shifter in the middle of the seat. Though this does remind me of the beast Anakin rides in the Geonosis.

    Trouble in Paradise

Wow, very creative scenario! Details like the bundle of wood, the steaks, the guy sitting by the water, and the miniature boat are my favorites.
  25. Hi! While I admit coming back to this site (very informative site with great incredibly creative members) weekly for the past 3/4 year or so, I'm finally stepping it up as a member . I've always loved legos and built them ever since I was a child (first set was Blacktron II/ 6832 /Super Nova II). When I had more spare time as a teen I never took any pictures of my MOCs, joined, or posted on any forum thinking "I'm too busy for this," but now as I'm older (and much busier), I wish I had. Well, its never too late as I am proud to finally be a member. Whether I continue to find my inspiration here, meet new and better MOCers than myself, contribute my 2 cents, or wisely spend my work and procrastination time here , I hope you all know how spectacular of a website this is and that it is only made possible with my now fellow members!
