I am intrigued by that piece count for a vehicle, gonna be interesting to see what it is. Considering the Mustang was approx 1500 pieces, twice that for a somewhat larger vehicle is not out of the question. -

I'll get the full series as usual, what may look like a boring figure now will probably be perfect (or have a perfect accessory) for a moc later on. Johnny Thunder looks really excellent, my new favourite along with the fox after seeing the official pictures. Monkey King & Bounty hunter looks cool. Gamer & coder looks even better than expected! -
Dang, I had hoped the small promo set would be available now that the sets are officially released... Got a VIP reward coupon that will expire in 10 days, so either I have to order something by then or just let it go to waste.

I built the clock tower yesterday, and the pieces in mine were regular trans clear with no yellowing. As for the set itself, I found it pretty good. Nice figures, the build was along the lines of the other Hogwarts sets.

I asked Marcos Bessa how minifigure selection was done for superheroes sets (probably close to 3 years ago), and his reply was that it was a collaborative effort between LEGO and the licensor. If I remember correctly the same applied to set selection. -

I'll gladly take a DC CMF series if that rumour turns out to be true, as long as it is not another Batman Movie series. I would be more excited about a Harry Potter Series 2 though, but DC is still better (for me) than a regular CMF series. I do hope there is a wide range of new figures, and not a lot of Batman variants and the usual figs. -

I just block right away, no exceptions. I've blocked a lot of users who actually had stuff that may have been of interest - I just have zero tolerance for spam. Out of curiosity it would be interesting to see how many people I've blocked, but not sure if that is possible. -
So we can conclude that opinions differ then? As I mentioned before, I think the set was always planned as a one-off. I also found season 3 a bit more hard-core than the previous seasons, so I think it is fair to say that the odds of seeing more sets are not increasing. However, since LEGO released the set just before the launch of the new season they are already linked to it even if the set is based primarily on season. At the end of day, I will be super surprised (but happy) if we get more sets, just like I was super surprised to see the first set. If they did a blister pack like this with Steve, Nancy & Jonathan I would be over the moon, I would probably even bury my small grudge about the Barb incident...

Blacktron! How awesome is that! Pretty good series, my favourites are Blacktron & Fox. Some really nice accessories, game controller, bathing duck, chameleon, dachs, flamingo, rugby ball, bike... The firefighter & bear I'm not too keen on. -

Just finished building this set, and wow! What an amazing build experience! Probably the best LEGO build ever for me when in terms of piece mastery, it is just so gratifying how neatly the sub-builds come together, and the end result looks great. I recommend this set to anyone. if you do not build this you are missing out. -

Since they write to check back in a few days there is no reason to believe it is anything but temporary. The LEGO Iconic VIP Set they have now for 500 points is very nice, it is a pretty substantial promo even if it comes in a (large!) polybag. Right now (at least in Norway) the Space ride promo is also back for a limited time (regular GWP). I made the mistake of redeeming points for 3 of the VIP Sets before they added the only one physical promo per order text to the redeem page, 2 down 1 to go...

Holy crap, the price point on that carriage does not compare favourably to the other Harry Potter sets (in Norway at least).

It could be new, but I think it's more likely that the text is wrong and that it is either 2 2x3 plates or 1x4 + 2x4 plates.

They still have regular GWP's, that hasn't changed. Right now you just might get a second chance at some of the promos you missed out on, which I think is a good thing. They do need to fix the bugs though. The S@H prices is a separate issue really, exclusive sets/availability and GWPs have always been the only reasons to shop there. -

Yes. When the Brickheadz theme was launched I decided to skip it entirely because they didn't look all that great to me, and in addition they started out with Comic-Con exclusives which gave it even less appeal. My opinion changed when they launched the Harry Potter / SW OT ones, those looks really great! Now I love them, and want more licensed Brickheadz. -

I got around to building Apocalypseburg last week after picking it up on sale for about 175 euro. It is a cool set with lots of nice touches, having a set like this when I was a kid would probably have blown my mind. The build was very enjoyable, I imagined the Lady Liberty part would be a bit tedious but it was fine. Pretty much every area is highly detailed with fun builds. There are a lot of stickers, but I didn't mind at all and think they added a lot of character to the set. The Planet of the Apes spoof poster is fantastic... Highly recommended! -

Yeah, switched from Safari to Chrome and managed to log in. A word of caution in cause you don't read the VIP FAQ in it's entirety: When you redeem points (for a physical product) you get a promo code. This promo code expires after 30 days and you can only use one promo code per order. So don't redeem points unless you plan to make an order in the next 30 days. The promo code is only valid for your account, so you can't give it away to a friend either. -

No obsession with Barb here, just want as many Stranger Things characters in LEGO form as possible. Sure, there many other characters I would like to get first, but I would still like this one.
