Billund 2023 accomodation topic

Hmm, I think many (all?) of the Lalandia cabins use code-locks, so they don't know or care if you check in on Tuesday or not. From the webpage: When you arrive, you do not need to check in at the Service Centre but can drive directly to your holiday home. At the barrier, enter the 6-digit code you received 3 days before arrival by e-mail or letter. This code also provides access to your holiday home. Your holiday home is ready from 15.00. https://www.lalandia.dk/en/billund/practical-information To be 100% sure maybe some of the early arrivals could do a little Lalandia-tour and stop by the cabins for those arriving on Wednesday Edit: My best guess is that it isn't necessary though, not that uncommon to arrive somewhere after midnight after all -
Billund 2023 accomodation topic
LegoFjotten replied to Holodoc's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I've stayed at LaLandia at a few different cabins (Classic 4 during the 2018 EB event, and Nordic Plus 8 for a LUG trip), and both were great! The ones at Holiday Village are awful in comparison (at least the 5 pax variant I stayed in back in 2016). Any bedroom at Lalandia which says it can hold 2 or 3 person will be larger than the tiny ones in the Holiday Village cabins. The classic 8 has 2 double beds and 4 single beds, while the Nordic Plus 8 has one double bed and 6 single beds. Since the LaLandia area is a lot bigger than the Holiday Village there can be a bit of a walk to get from the LaLandia cabin to for example the Holiday Village common room / conference room if any of those will be used during the event. -

Unfortuntately no. I was lucky enough to visit last January before the building opened officially and got in on an awesome tour of the place. https://bricknerd.com/home/inside-lego-campus-an-exclusive-tour-of-legos-new-hq-in-billund-4-8-22 They did offer some tours after Skærbæk last year, but it didn't include the People House which was the most interesting part. This kind of tour might be something they will offer to visiting LUGs, but not sure. -

The store is now in the LEGO Campus building. Have no idea if we will be allowed to visit on this event though. -

Ooooh! I want to go! But I have the Inside Tour in May, not sure if I can swing both. I will have to say maybe... As for the Employee Store, new location and limit was raised by 1000 DKK last Skærbæk. According to a friend of course. -

I recommend using a Google Sheet or other spreadsheet to keep track of your wishlist, you can then use a formula to generate the link for you, as well as pull in images to show the elements directly in your spreadsheet. I don't see the point of denying the existence of improvements even if things can be improved further. For my use it is way better than the old B&P, so it deserves the praise. And it's not just the search, also the other things I mentioned in my earlier post. -

I think something got lost in translation there, that's what I said, to get a double fee both standard and bestseller needs to be below 12 EUR. I made no such claim and I'm not pretending anything, did you really read what I wrote? "I disagree about the search, it is much better now. If you prefer other sites for searching for items you want to buy, fine - that doesn't mean that the new BAP has not improved by quite a lot." What you can do with the new improvements in BAP is to set your page size to 400, and then select subcategory "Plates, Round & Angles" and you will find your half circles both solid, transparent and printed variations quite easily. Much better than the old B&P. You could also first search for "circle" and then select the subcategory to get a shorter list. The subcategories are great, I use them all time. You can also filter all available parts by color, much better than the old B&P. The #1 best new search feature is the multi-element search. I use a Google sheet to take note of elements I need /want. I have a formula in one cell to show the image based on element id, and a link is generated to the new BAP search that search for all elements that are available from that list. For example: https://www.lego.com/nb-no/pick-and-build/pick-a-brick?query=6250597+6251070+6378417&page=1&perPage=200&includeOutOfStock=true -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I have no problem avoiding the fee, the 12 Euro limit to avoid fees is pretty low in my opinion. To get a 9 eur fee you need to fail to buy 12 eur worth of bricks from either. I don't see the problem with some parts arriving quicker if you order both bestseller and standard? I disagree about the search, it is much better now. If you prefer other sites for searching for items you want to buy, fine - that doesn't mean that the new BAP has not improved by quite a lot. If you prefer to buy stuff from China, go ahead - BAP does not prevent you from doing that. -

Except for new parts being late to arrive almost everything is better. Top of my head, I can't think of anything that is worse. - Search is better - Search now supports multiple element id's so it's super quick to search for items from my wishlist in a single search - You can select to show 400 elements per page now, instead of the endless "show more" clicks - It is easier to browse by category - It is easier to browse by color - Cart works better, no more nuked carts - BAP now qualifies for GWPs -

Have they really said November? I've seen no mention of November in any of the statements from LAN that have been shared (but I may have missed it). Part of one of the statements I have seen was "The intention going forward will be to launch novelty elements 4 months after release after things catch up (but may be different times for different types of elements (functional bricks, ect)". I definitely have seen people adding 4 months to whatever month contained sets they wanted parts from and arriving at October/November/December, maybe that is where November came from? Considering Jan - May elements have only been partially released to selected countries, I think they are behind their schedule. Jan - May release was said to take "a few weeks" almost 3 weeks ago. Meaning the rush of orders following release have not fully happened yet, so the orders they should catch up with have not even been placed. I'm not overly optimistic about when stuff I'd like to be will be available unfortunately. They have implemented support for limiting quantities on individual elements though, so some of the things that usually sell out quickly will stay a bit longer in stock -
Thank you! That worked like a charm

I am not super excited about those minifigures to be honest. There are some nice ones, but I think I could do without them. The train looks pretty nice though, will probably end up buying it anyway. -
I built it yesterday as soon as it arrived, what a glorious set! Ordered a 2nd one right away so I can have a go at one of the alternative models

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

That set is it's own thing for sure :D Still, I don't mind LEGO SW occasionally trying something different, and I prefer more location sets in general. I like the figs, the robot is particularly nice. Will get it for sure. -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

I built the Tallneck yesterday, amazing set! Fun build, looks fantastic on display. The minifigure is fabulous. I'd recommend it to anyone! I hadn't played any of the Horizon games before I ordered this, but finally managed to get a PS5 before the set arrived so technically I had played the game for about 1 hour before building the set. -
