I relly liked this theme when I was a kid and still have a few sets which are really awesome. I would love to see them coming back into shelves. I defintly sign the petition. Good luck and thank you for doing that Klaus-Dieter

This new ARC looks good and both the pilots and the R2 unit will make me buy this set. For one time, I think I am a little bit disapointed by Kit Fisto being in this set : I have already a minifig of him and I do not want to have an army of him if I buy multiple of this set. i am sorry to tell it is not an epIII set because of Kit Fisto that has never been in an ARC fighter in this episode. I thik we will see these clone pilots with the ARC in the next season. In my opinion, these clones would have been awesome if they had came with the clone wars Y-wing too. It seems that we will get quite a lot of reeditions next year, but always coming with a few new things making fans buying, Well done LEGO

I do not agree with you, and I think this version is slightly better than the older one (we still need to have a better look at it, this one being quite blurry !) You should have a better look for the around design, it is twice larger than it was before, that is why somepeople would said it is blockier or wider. Indeed, the plates used all around were 2 studs long whereas they are now 4 studs long. it is not a big difference, but I think it still improve this ship. Moreover, I think they must be some other differences for the engines and the general structure because of the difference of pice number (148 for the older versus 268 for the new one if what is written is true). I do not think adding a couple of droids and some missiles can change so much the number of pieces. I think I will definetly get multiples of this set if it is not too expensive just to have a nice separatist army to fight the clone one. I am only hoping we will get vulture droids separetly one day (like the 1999 version, but improved !) to have something fighting and the jedi starfighter (if we really get Plo Koon 's one, it will only be the seventh one !), and the different fighters and bombers. The new ARC-170 seems a lot alike the 2005 version, like the droid tri-fighter, but no one is really complaining about iT; I think the main problem with this set is that everyone (including me) was hoping to get a tri-droid, like it had been rumored for a long time, and we all were really disappointed to see a new edition of a set that was well made only five years ago. By the way, I do not think we will get a buzz droid in this set as we can not see any on the top of the box where only three rocket droids stand)

Thank you Rufus for your great review, the Rebel Blockade Runner 10019 is also one of my favourite LEGO Star Wars. I was quite surprised by your box and your description of it because mine is colorfull and with at its back a great presentation of the set and some of its details. I wondered if your box was the first edition and mine the second (I bought it quite late, nearly two years after its was first released. Does anyone has some information about these different kind of boxes (maybe the ultimate collectors bought two 10019 just to have the different boxes ) ? Thank you

Here are a few very blurry pictures of the supposed next year battle pack. Froom the first dicussions, it seems to be Hoth relayed battle packs. A few pictures and the video they come from (the whole video is rather interseting, I think you should watch it entirely) picture added on Oky Wan Kenobi advice the video (I changed the link to the Toys'r'us site in which the video is available).

If they were CW related, I do not think they would be the episode you are talking about related but rather take place on the second (or even third) season of CW : we had the assasin droids this year that do not appear a lot (in two r three episodes and are not main characters) and are supposed to be far more present in the second season. Moreover, there are only clones and these strange creatures in that episodes and no proper enemies that is worthing a battle pack. I really think therefore (and all appareaces seem to show that) that we will get Hoth battle packs. I really hope we will have an AT-At UCS minifig scaled to complete the battle, it would be awesome to celebrate this 30th anniversary

You made an amazing MOC. It has a lot of details and the color scheme is wonderfull. You have moreover a great way to display it with its support. It is very impressive. By the way, what are the dimensions of this beauty ? it must be huge regarding the size of the minifig on it.

A very good MOD using only a few more pieces. I like how you made this model less bulky with the front that is no more flat and the round pieces against straight ones. Adidng a landing gear is a great idea and you made this one very well! good job, keep on showing us these great buildings

It is a good surprise, and it has been a long time since the last time we had a set announcement and a review in the same day. TLG is doing a very good job with this chromie. It looks awesome and I really hope it will be easily available worlwide. i would love to see an army of these (it would be a very expensive army, but nothing is too much for the emperor ) now we have this character, we can think we will have more like this one (maybe for each special anniversary).

It would be a gret idea but I think, if my memory is good, that the gunship you are talking about has a similar color scheme and decorations as the new dropship so it seems unlikely and you could build your own one quite easily using both the attack gunship and the dropship. nevertheless, it would be awesome to see more clones variations (we only get the gunner version this against last year Rex, Cody and Fox). I would also love seeing more weapons for the clones, like a quad cannon or some rockets.

Thank you for your comments ! Indeed, my two gunships are different and I planned to transform the old one into a LAAT/c but the new official LEGO one, i think it will stay like it is. The two AT-TE are Clone Wars. I agree with you, CloneCommanderDelta7, it is not good for an army to have the same ship in different versions and it is a problem for those who have been collecting LEGO star Wars for a long time because it way often happen. But I do not want to sell the oldest version because they are parts of the collection and the version are far better than the older ones in most of the cases. I have also a little rebel and imperial army. i may take picture of them when I will have more time.

Here come my prelogy armies with first the separatist one : The land forces : and the space one : The whole separatist army : And the clone army with the space fleet led by many jedi And finally, the both armies for a big family picture (as you can see, my collection can take not a lot big space) As you can see, I've been collecting LEGO StarWars since 1999 and I am now thinking on buying more multiple sets to make bigger armies. I have not yet really begun purchasing the 2009 collection so I hope these army will be far bigger by the end of the year.

I found some of this summer set already available on the Internet. the Endor set is priced at 108 € and can be found here. The Republic cruiser seems also available, like the separatist shuttle and the Y-wing. Echo Base and the snail tank are listed as coming late in June. I do not plan to buy them now (I am waiting for better prices and the annual Toys'r'us sales buy two, get the third LEGO for 1 €. But maybe a French guy will get some of these sets and write us a nice review

It may be one of the proposition for Toysr'us choice : Slave One with landing platform. But I really hope it will be a minifig scale AT-AT to go with the Echo set
